Hello. I made a new team recently and I want feedback on it. I would appreciate it.
Note:I HAVE TESTED THIS TEAM
Another Note: I DO NOT FULLY UNDERSTAND EVS. I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE FORUM TO DISCUSS THAT BUT TAKE THAT INTO MIND WHEN YOU ARE RATING THIS TEAM AND GIVING ME ADVICE.
With that said let's begin.
Whammer (Whimsicott) @ Leftovers
Ability: PranksterShiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Cotton Guard
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Protect
Whimsicott is the Pokemon to get me out of a twist and sometimes to be honest stall time. The only downside: Taunt and it's over ;-;
Whimsicott's Substitute+Protect while leech seed is on is a monster setup (to me at least). And the leftovers? recovers so much hp with this order of moves: Leechseed-Protect-Substitute-Protect and keep same order after you get leech seed setup.
Whimsicott doesnt take flamethrowers well either so be aware of that too.
Toga (Togekiss) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Mild Nature
- Extrasensory
- Air Slash
- Sweet Kiss
- Extreme Speed
Togekiss is usually the pokemon I start out with. I automatically go for the air slash. 30% chance to flinch but with serene grace it becomes 60% boosting my chance to flinch even more. Sometimes I even get a chance to flinch them to death lmao. Ok anyway back to formal Pokemon buisness. Sweet kiss goes nicely with Air Slash. Extreme Speed is to finish off low health threats. My only confusion with Togekiss is should I run life orb?
Flying Squirrel (Gliscor) Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Substitute
- Protect
- Agility
Gliscor is a classic which I used to always get wrecked by. I decided to use him. I don't have much to say with him here. I mean Poison Heal is a great help. And the agility which makes him outspeed which gives him an advantage against pokemon trying to take him down.
Noisy Boi (Noivern) @ Life Orb
Ability: Frisk
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Roost
- Draco Meteor
- Hurricane
- Flamethrower
One of my favorite XY pokemon. But that's not the reason I put him on the team so before you jump on me for not reading the how to make an RMT just read this. He's and amazing special attacker. If not for life orb he could easily wreck (or shrek hue hue hue) teams. The only downside is the hurricane only has as much of a chance to hit as Togekiss' 60% chance to flinch (Hurricane is 70%). Flamethrower is mre of a last resort. So is Draco.
The Doctor (Pikachu-PhD) @ Light Ball
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Charge Beam
- Fake Out
- Volt Switch
- Signal Beam
"YES!" That's usually what I say when I successfully set up the charge beam twice along with signal beam. He does some pretty heavy damage when he has boosted special attack. Oh is Pikachu in a pinch? Volt Switch and your safe plus possibly taking out the opposing pokemon. Charge beam is good to me because it does damage while raising SpA. Like a calm mind that does damage right?
Model-X (Scizor) Scizorite
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Aerial Ace
- Iron Defense
Probably the strongest pokemon on my team when it is mega-evolved and set up properly (2x attack or higher and 2x def or higher). The bullet punch basically kills all and Aerial Ace for any troublesome fighting types (cough* cough* Infernape) Other than that Scizor is a beast.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS AND PLEASE GIVE ME TIPS ON THIS TEAM
Phew that took an hour :c
