Few questions throughout history have sparked as much thought and debate as this one (I assume). Anyway rate my baseball team of Eevee and the Eeveelutions:

1. Jolteon - CF: Speedy leadoff hitter. The speed also gives it the range to cover the most ground of any of the Eeveelutions in center field.

2. Glaceon - SS: Kind of a leftover pick. Good pecial attack makes for a surprisingly potent bat, but low speed keeps it in the infield as a shortstop.

3. Espeon - RF: High Special Attack means we're getting Espeon in the third spot in the lineup. Good speed too so def an outfield position. Going with right field because right field should be for the weakest defensive outfielder.

4. Flareon - 3B: Highest attacking stats of the Eeveelutions makes this an easy choice for the cleanup hitter. Low speed though so definitely going in the infield. Flareon gets to play the hot corner (fitting for a Fire type).

5. Sylveon - P: Sylveon has a surprising amount of pop for a pitcher. Low speed isn't a problem when you're on the mound, but that special attack will be used effectively for a nice curveball.

6. Vaporeon - 1B: Hey guys, did you know that in terms of HP, Vaporeon is the easy choice for our big, lumbering first baseman? Pretty mid offensive stats gets it placed sixth in the lineup though.

7. Lefaeon - LF: Has the next-lowest attacking stats of the Eeveelutions behind Umbreon, so we're batting seventh with Leafeon. Decent speed and defensive presence will make for a good left fielder though.

8. Umbreon - C: Poor attacking stats mean that Umbreon isn't going to be great offensively, but with the highest defensive stats among the Eeveelutions I absolutely want this guy playing catcher. Brick wall backstop.

9. Eevee - 2B: Clearly the number 9 hitter due to lack of stats. As far as I know, second base is the least demanding position defensively so that's where we're slotting Eevee, who sucks for the purposes of this exercise.

We don't have a designated hitter because of lack of players. Please, Gamefreak, bless us with one more Eeveelution so we can fill out a whole roster.

angry reacting this post because now i need to know how good every pokemon is at baseball

Shuckle has the highest defense so it's the best at playing defense in every position in the outfield.
Self-righteous fool! Just because your favorite pokemon has a high defensive stats does NOT mean it would be a good outfielder. The speed stat really hampers Shuckle’s defensive utility… would most likely be a catcher but the arm strength (attack stat) and pop time (speed) means it would have trouble throwing out runners stealing second base. Overall not a good ball player at all

Alakazam has been quickbanned in Baseball!
:sv/alakazam-mega::sv/alakazam::alakazam::sv/alakazam::sv/alakazam-mega:

Now you may be wondering. How would :alakazam: Alakazam be OP in baseball? Well, it's because it can just use it's psychic powers and pretend to use the baseball bat and strike, or, use his psychic powers to cheekily maneuver the baseball around the opponent. And with this, alakazam has been quickbanned in competitive baseball!

(Also guys check out the Sun & Moon anime I'm pretty sure they have a baseball episode, so you can already list down some pokemon on which are good in baseball and which are not.)

Power to ban is mine alone. Snom can stay.

Mega Alakazam though… definition of a 5 spoon, uh, I mean, 5 tool player. While it’s a great addition to any roster, there’s no evidence of being on the juice. Take a look at like, Buzzwole, or Machamp. Those guys are definitely on roids
