Rate my OU Team centered around Starmie

Hey everybody. First of all I'm new here and this is my first serious competitive Team I created. I already tried it out and it brings me great results but I think that maybe one or the other things can still get improvement.

Starmie@ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
252 Sp.Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Nature: Timid
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt/Psyshock

This is the Star of my Team. My favorite Pokemon. It's my offensive Spinner and my Team is build around it's niche. It has a nice Speed of 115 so it's really fast. I use Hydro Pump on it for the most powerful STAB attack. Ice Beam is mainly for Dragons and Grass types. Thunderbolt helps me to deal with other Pokemon that Ice Beam can‘t Also I choose Analytic over Natural Cure because I think the Little extra power on the switch can be very helpful and Starmie needs to dish out as much damage as possible For the last move I don't know if I should use Psyshock over Thunderbolt.

Mamoswine@ Focus Sash
Ability: Thick Fat
252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock

It's my Stealth Rock setter and Dragonslayer. Focus Sash looks a bit odd but it helped me alot in the past because I can either guarantee to set up Stealth Rocks or I can stop some sweep attempts from the enemy. It has Thick Fat so it can take Fire and Ice attacks better. I'm not sure if Oblivious is better for this set since it can stop Taunt. As for the Attacks I got Eartquake because it is it's strongest STAB move. Icicle Crash is to hit Pokemon hard that resist or are immune to Eartquake. It has a bit lower accuracy and can miss but it also has the Chance to flinch which is a nice little Bonus. Then I have Ice Shard which is a STAB Priority move that can scare many Dragons away like Garchomp, Noivern etc. The last move is Stealth Rocks. It's always nice to have rocks up to Limit the enemys Switch ins. It helps me to deal with some threats like other Charizards, Talonflame.

Aegislash@ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
252 HP / 252 Sp.Attack / 4 Attack
Nature: Quite
- Shadow Ball
- Iron Head
- Shadow Sneak
- King's Shield

It's my mixed Tank. I once had a pure physical Aegislash but I think the mixed set does the best job for this team. Though I like Iron Head better on it since it can hit many Fairies on the physical side which is also often their weaker side side so work like a defensive wallbreaker (if that makes sense). Shadow Ball is the main STAB which deals alot of damage and Shadow Sneak is for priority to pick up some kills. King's Shield is there to go into my defensive mode and lowering the enemies attack stats if it attacks me with a move that makes contact. I have leftovers on this since it’s my main tank and it needs to stay alive as long as possible. King’s Shield helps it to regain more Hp from those leftovers.

Togekiss@ Sitrus Berry
Serene Grace
252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpD
Nature: Bold
- Air Slash
- Dazzling Gleam
- Thunderwave
- Roost

It is bold natured so it can survive many physical hits the enemy wants to throw at it. It also has natural good Special bulk so it can tank those as well but I didn't invest too much into it so it's pretty a balanced bulky Togekiss. Air Slash is it's flying STAb and good for flinches which can be very annoying for the enemy. Dazzling Gleam is also STAB and mainly for Dragons especially Garchomp. Thunderwave allows it to cripple many fast threads by making them slower, helping other members in my Team too. I have Roost on it to recover Hp and it gets rid of it's flying type which can lead to some good shenanigans when Togekiss is faster then the enemys Pokemon. I have Sitrus Berry on this since I don't have another leftover but it works quite well. Most of the times I can take a Greninja's Ice Beam the Berry activates, then paralyze the greninja and can Roost recover on the next turn.

Heracross@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 Def
Nature: Adamant
- Stone Edge
- Megahorn
- Earthquake
- Close Combat

Heracross is this Teams revenge killer and Status absorber. It's typing provides excellent coverage against Dark types and it got a very powerful STAb in Close Combat which hits alot of Pokemon very hard. Full speed Ev's helps it to outspeed and OHKO Greninjas. Megahorn is for Grass and Psychic Types but it's shaky accuracy let me down sometimes but it's a great move despite this problem since it also hits very hard thanks to STAB. I have Guts on it because I see so many Will-O-Wisp user online like Rotom-H so I thought I'll take Advantage of this. Yes Moxie is more reliable but Talonflame makes it hard for Heracross since it can just scare it away with Brave bird. Stone Edge is mainly for Flying Pokemon switch ins like Togekiss. At last I have Earthquake to hit Aegislash and Fairies besides Togekiss that can take Heracross STAB moves.

Charizard@ Charizard X
Ability: Though Claws
252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw

This is my Dragon Dancer and late game sweeper. At first it needs a good switch. Since I have Starmie on my Team. I have the option to remove Stealth Rocks which is very good for Megazard. It's Dragon / Fire Typing provides cood resistances and only weaknesses in Dragon, Rocks and Earthquake.. It has a bit of additional physical Bulk which alows it to set up in fron of physical Pokemon better. I have Dragon Dance since Megazard X only has mediocre Speed but with the help of Dragon Dance it becomes a very fast and powerfull threat. The only Thing is that Priority moves like Talonflames Brave Bird are still a threat so removing those Pokemon is necessary. Flare Blitz is it most powerful STAB but does alot of recoil damage. Dragon Claw is mainly for other Dragons and Neutral hits. I choose Dragon Claw over Outrage because I don't like being locked into it so a Fairy can just shut it down. Earthquake is to deal with Steel types like Heatran and provides good coverage.

General Team info
As for my Team in general. It’s build around Starmie. It’s my favorite Pokemon but I know that’s outclassed by Greninja as a special attacker that’s why I wanted to make use of Rapid Spin. Then I asked myself: Why would I run Rapid Spin over Defog? The answer was: When I will use my own rocks. So that’s why I brought Mamoswine in my team. It’s also a really good Dragon Check with Ice Shard. For my defensive core I decided that Fairy and Steel makes a very good core so Togekiss and Aegislash joined my Team. Heracross is my revenge killer and Will-O-Wisp absorber and Megazard X is a late game sweeper which appreciate Rapid Spin support
Thanks for answers

Not too much to say, awesome team. First and foremost, all of your sets except for togekiss have 252/252, which means that you are not making use of 4 extra evs that you can put into another stat. Theres a lot of options for this and a lot of personal preference, so you can just choose where you want to put it, rather than me just listing out where i think you should put it. Also, do you think you could add a bit more info on each pokemon? The guidelines of this forum say to put at least 3 lines, so if i were you, I'd add more info before a mod locks this thread. Once you add more info and the 4 evs on all the pokemon, just reply to this and I'll try to go through the team throughly. Thanks!

Your sets are a bit weird, as your Aegislash has 256 HP EVs, Charizard has "Though Claws." This wasn't an import from showdown was it? Also, dragon dancing Xzard can afford to run Adamant. Your team as a whole seems like it gets wrecked by Talonflame, and a single sr user from Mamoswine won't be enough to deter it, especially if they also have a spinner since you don't have a spin blocker. I even think Mega Pinsir does a number on your team. Finally, get rid of sitrus for lefties on Togekiss. Your team on the simulator is not bounded by what you have on the cartridge, so you can use the theoretical best for them.

Thanks for pointing those Problems out. Yeah those 4 EV's for Aegislash were in Attack. I wrote Charizard's ability as Tough Claw since it will Megaevolve into X as soon as possible.

Also, what do you mean I don't have a Spin Blocker? I do have an Aegislash or does this not Count?

Yeah of course, happy to help. A spin blocker is simply just a ghost pokemon. They are immune to the move rapid spin and allow your hazards to stay in play longer, if not the entire game. The most common spinner by far is excadrill, so aegi is a very bad spin blocker because excadrills main stab earthquake will kill it immediately

HOWEVER, you only need a good spin blocker if your team is heavily reliant on hazards, which your team is not, so you shouldn't feel like you really need a spin blocker.

Ah I see. Thanks for the clarification :)
