Gen 5 Rate my first ok(ish) BW OU Team

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Roar
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit

My sand setter, he already tanks scald and dies on earthquake regardless of defensive EVs and he works well to tank water hits

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Def / 196 SpD
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

Like the extra switch in capability with him, I can prevent scizor or breloom from hitting my team too hard with intimidate

Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Force
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- X-Scissor
- Iron Head

I like the offensive pressure, but not much else. I feel like if I got rid of him sand would be unnecessary on my team though. I use choice scarf to emulate Sand Rush

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 216 HP / 28 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Block

I originally had Ferrothorn here, and had rapid spin on my excadrill, but being locked into rapid spin because of choice scarf was terrible. I like the fusion of spike setting and rapid spin. Also very good for switching in (sort of)

Mew @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Synchronize
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

I use mew specifically for coverage, I can one shot salamence and 2 shot multiscale dragonite, and I practically always move first unless priority is involved. My team also lacks a lot of water coverage so thunderbolt is good, and flamethrower gets rid of Ferrothorn and Skarmory. Psychic destroys fighting types on mew too.

Breloom @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Stone Edge
- Thunder Punch

Just really good at cleaning up and good at switching in to water moves (except for scald)

There are a lot of things that my team has trouble with, so constructive criticism is heavily encouraged and would be very helpful.

Hi! So as you mentioned this team is really weak to Scald and by formality, Rain. An immediate change I would suggest off a glance would be to switch the Breloom set from Choice Band to Toxic Orb. This would instantly give you a Scald switch-in as well still give you a win condition. Now originally you said you had Ferrothorn, and I would keep it over Forretress. Ferrothorn can provide a great check to Dragon-Types, mainly Latios which with a layer of Spikes and Stealth Rock can wreck havoc on your current team. Ferrothorn running a set of Spikes, Knock off, Gyro Ball and Thunder-Wave wielding Leftovers would synergise really well with Toxic Orb Breloom as it Paralyse Breloom checks making it even harder to deal with, set hazards which combined with Breloom forcing switches will rack up a lot of damage quickly especially when combined with Knock Off and also benefit from Breloom being able to absorb Burns thanks to Toxic Orb.

With these changes, Excadrill would need to run Rapid Spin over X-Scissor (Excadrill should always run Rapid Spin for the record except on the Substitute +Protect set). I do like Choice Scarf Excadril and Toxic Orb Breloom's synergy of being able to beat down Landorus-T and Skarmory by overwhelming them together.

On to our own Landorus-T. As it is one of the best Stealth Rock setters in the tier, I would run just a standard 252 HP/ 252 Spe with a Naive Nature and Stealth Rock, U-Turn, Earthquake and Hidden Power Ice. This will allow you to more easily check a vast majority of Psychical threats such as Garchomp, Dragonite, and Excadrill while Hidden Power Ice can also help you pressure opposing Landorus-T and help break through for both Breloom and Choice Scarf Excadrill to clean up.

The last big change I would make is making the Tyranitar Chople Berry with Rock Slide, Crunch and Pursuit + filler move and a spread of 252 HP, 252 SpeD. This will allow you to check Alakazam, Reuniclus and Latios easier with Crunch and Pursuit respectively, as well as sponge Special Attacks well. Alongside this it also patches up one of the teams biggest weaknesses which is Volcarona since with this set you will be able to survive a Quiver Dance Boosted Bug Buzz Volcarona and OHKO it with Rock Slide.

Hope these suggestions help!
