SS OU RapidUrshifu OU team! Please rate and help :)

Hi I am GfungIsGreat and recently I thought that it would be fun to actually make a OU team instead of always AG so this is my first team!

Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Unseen Fish
Moves:
-Surging Strikes
-Close Combat
-Ice Punch
-U-Turn
EVs: Atk 252/Def 4/Spd 252
Nature: Jolly

I really like Urshifu so I decided to make a team based on Urshifu. Urshifu’s a great Pokémon as choice scarf Urshifu is pretty fast and the moveset is good too. Ihave been looking at all the types and all my 6 Pokémons covers all types.

Slowbro-Galar @ Heavy-Duty-Boots
Ability: Quick Draw
Moves:
-Shell Side Arm
-Scald
-Shadow Ball
-Slack Off
EVs: Hp 252/Def 252/SpAtk 4
Nature: Bold

I also like Slowbro so I chose him as my second Pokémon. Urshifu is weak to Flying, Psychic, Electric, Grass and Fairy, which ice punch took out flying, U-Turn for grass, which leaves psychic electric and fairy. For fairy I have Slowbro which is pretty good with shell side arm. I did not go for any speed in EVs because I want the quick draw ability to activate, so I went for more Hp to tank.

Tapu-Lele @Choice Species
Ability: Psychic Surge
Moves:
-Moonblast
-Psychic
-Psyshock
-Focus Blast
EVs: SpAtk 252/SpDef 4/ Spd 252
Nature: Timid

I was searching for fairy types because I want to get rid of dragon types too without needing to tank it. I searching up fairy types and Imdecided to go with Tapu Lele Because Tapu Koko’s electric moves can be switched with rotor and electric terrain weakens water type attacks I believe.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Moves:
-Hydro Pump
-Thunderbolt
-Will-O-Wisp
-Defog
EVs: Hp 4/SpAtk 252/Spd 252
Nature: Timid

Rotom Wash is a great Pokémon with electric and water type moves. It only have grass as it’s weakness and the last pokémon, Heatran can take grass types out easily. I went with defog as well because if the opponent is setting up I can clear that very easily.

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Moves:
-Earthquake
-Toxic
-Stealth rock
-U-Turn
EVs: Hp 252/Def 88/SpDef 168
Nature: Careful

I figured I need a ground type to take out electric types for my Urshifu, so I chose Landous, while having Earthquake to destroy electric types, I can also set up a stealth rock and use toxic to cut down some hp or cancel out a focus sash. I use U-Turn to escape from grass types or water types.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
Moves:
-Magma Storm
-Taunt
-Ancient Power
-Burning Jealousy
EVs: Hp 252/ Def 4/ SpDef 252
Nature: Calm

For my last pokémon I chose Heatran for a fire type. I used a bulky set this time, or just stopping the opponent from using stat boosts with taunt. I would use magma storm to trap the opponent, then spam ancient powers until Iget some stat boosts. Obviously, if they use stat moves like calm mind I would switch to using burning jealousy to get them burning and trapped at the same time. After burning jealousy I use taunt to stop their boosts.

So that’s my first OU team! Please rate it and tell me if Ineed to change anything! Thanks!

This is a nice team but I would recommend a few changes to optimize it
The first one would be to change the slowbro set.
The only set benefitting from quick draw is the nasty plot one paired with quick claw, usually on a hyper offensive team. On a team like this I would recommend using the calm mind set w colbur berry to provide a solid wincon against fatter teams.
Tapu Lele must have future sight to help urshifu break through tougher walls like pex and corviknight.
I would also recommend changing the item from choice specs to choice scarf to provide a more reliable form of speed control while making urshifu banded/protective pads.
Overall the team structure looks fine but I would highly recommend these changes

I don't really have much to say in order to give these tweaks more explanation, but these are heavily suggested changes.

Changes:

1. Glowbro :Slowbro-Galar: > Glowking :Slowking-Galar:

Fundamentally the team is extremely weak to Kyurem, in general you need a SpD tank. Replace Glowbro for Glowking, use the spread 252 HP / 12 Def / 124 SpA / 120 SpD with a Calm nature, as well as Assault Vest.

Alternatively, you could run a more Def based set to your liking which is actually quite nice and rather unexplored for Glowking. It would round out this team's rough edges against physical attackers and is a nice surprise when you need it to turn a match over.

2. Specs > Scarf Lele :Tapu Lele:, Scarf > Band Urshifu :Urshifu-Rapid-Strike:

Urshifu's role is more of a breaker than a scarfer since it relies on band for most of its breaking power. Overall, the limited power it gets without Band is disadvantageous to this team's overall gameplan and without it you kinda fluke gaining ground during a match. Scarf Lele is a far superior scarfer to Urshifu and retains all of its breaking power while being very fast and troubling BO cores this team hates.

Additionally, I wouldn't discourage the use of Ice Punch on Urshifu. This team doesn't have very much for Dragonite which quickly becomes an issue and can also gradually easily 6-0 when Corviknight's Rocky Helmet is knocked off. However, it usually isn't needed since this team will have access to Scarf-Lele which outspeeds a +1 if needed, and typically, as long as you play carefully and keep Corv's Rocky Helmet you should successfully wall and and/or be able to RK it.

3. Rotom W :Rotom-Wash: > Corviknight :Corviknight:

This team has a tremendous flaw in not being remotely capable to defend grass spam cores which 6-0, giving your opponent a win with relative ease that you can do nothing to stop. Corviknight patches this hole and gives you another defensive option for the likes of Kyurem, Landorus, Weavile, Hippowdon, Melmetal, and a few others. The spread I would use is 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 SpD with 0 Spe IVs and a Relaxed nature. I heavily suggest Rocky Helmet to punish spam on this team.
4. Heatran :Heatran:

Heatran's current move and EV spreads are a bit weird, it already walls and threatens everything that it needs to with this set found on the Smogon Strategy Dex. All the info you need is there, though some of the information is outdated with recent meta changes so be cautious about what you are considering.

Teambuilding flaws:

Overall, this team has an inclination to being very weak against Heatran and Urshifu. By themselves they are manageable with active counterplay, barring you should ever run into them together. If you do, the best plan is to keep Urshifu out and chip down on heatran until you can kill it.

As a minor suggestion I would add to improve this matchup, Heatran could run Air Balloon to switch in on other Heatran. The spread you are running is fine, but a fast spread between speeds of 221 - 223 is optimal to keep rocks off on switches using Taunt against slower variants.

That's all I had, if you need help with anything else don't be afraid to ask! :)

I like your team overall but I was thinking you need to change the slow-bro sets and maybe even change it to slow-king. That's all I can say overall cause I don't do OU that much either.
