[SET Details]
Raichu is a defining wallbreaker and cleaner thanks to its great speed tier and access to Nasty Plot. Focus Blast lets Raichu break specially defensive Fighting-weak Pokemon such as Lickitung, Klang, and Zweilous. Surf breaks Electric-immunities and resists such as opposing Raichu, Dedenne, Emolga, and Hippopotas. Grass Knot deals less consistent damage than Surf but breaks through Water-immunities and resists like Palpitoad, Seaking, and Whiscash.
Raichu runs Lightning Rod to take advantage of Electric attacks from Pokemon like Emolga, opposing Raichu, and Klang.

VoltTurn picks like Silvally-Ice, Emolga, and Beheeyem can make Raichu's job of switching in easier. Raichu also appreciates slow pivots like Vibrava, Vespiquen, and Klang that can take hits and bring Raichu in. VoltTurn teams in particular shine with Raichu. Ice-types like Galarian Mr. Mime, Glalie, and Silvally-Ice pair well with Raichu, as they take care of defensive Grass types like Shiinotic and Ivysaur that can take Raichu's STAB and coverage moves. Ice-types mutually benefit from Raichu breaking the Water, Steel, and Fire types like Pyukumuku, Klang, and Carkol that tend to wall them. Grass-types like Gourgeist-Large, Shiinotic, and Trevenant make great partners for Raichu by threatening the Ground-types like Whiscash and Palpitoad that threaten Raichu. In turn, Raichu disposes of Flying-types like Vullaby and Vespiquen that tend to pressure Grass-types.

[SET COMMENTS]
Heavy-Duty Boots Raichu serves as a competent offensive pivot between its STAB Volt Switch high speed and lack of hazard chip.
Focus Blast is for common specially defensive Pokemon like Klang, Zweilous, and Dunsparce. Knock Off gives Raichu offensive utility by removing Eviolites that many walls such as Palpitoad, Ivysaur, and Gloom. Surf is Raichu's best coverage move, hitting Electric-immunities like Hippopotas, opposing Raichu, and Emolga. Thunderbolt has value as a STAB move that does not switch Raichu out. This gives Raichu a better chance to beat targets like Vespiquen, Vullaby, and Corsola.

Offensive pivot Raichu fits best on VoltTurn teams. This includes Silvally-Ice, Persian, and Galarian Linoone. Pikachu shares many checks with Raichu and can wear down their checks together with it. Emolga and Vespiquen are both Flying types that appreciate Raichu's Electric immunity and ability to handle Klang and Rock types. In turn, Raichu benefits from Flying types checking Ground and Grass types that Raichu tends to struggle with. Strong wallbreakers like Stonjourner, Stoutland, Beheeyem, and Mr. Mime relish the general wearing down of teams, and Raichu appreciates said wallbreakers for finishing off its weakened targets.

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Specs Raichu is a powerful and fast offensive breaker and pivot. Volt Switch gives Raichu a STAB pivoting move for dealing damage and switching out of unfavorable matchups. Focus Blast hits specially defensive Pokemon such as Klang, Zweilous, and Lickitung super effectively. Surf as the last coverage move for Raichu consistent damage against Electric-immunities and resists like Vibrava, Emolga, Dedenne, and Hippopotas. Grass Knot is risky for its inconsistent damage, but is more helpful against Seaking, Palpitoad, and Whiscash.

Raichu works exceptionally well on VoltTurn teams, pairing well with Silvally-Ice, Galarian Linoone, and Persian. As Raichu often carries coverage for Ground-types, Grass-types such as Ivysaur, Trevenant, and Gourgeist-Large tend to take Raichu's Volt Switches. Grass-type checks like Vullaby, Zweilous, and Klang all take advantage of defensive Grass-types that Raichu invites in. Hazard setters like Vespiquen, Carkol, and Glalie check Grass-types for Raichu while stacking residual damage Raichu takes advantage of by forcing switches. Raichu does not want to take hazard chip while pivoting on and off the field, so pairing it with hazard removal is ideal. Hattrem, Carkol, and Vespiquen can supply Raichu with hazards while also facilitating removal, and Raichu can threaten out many of the rockers like Krokorok or Stonjourner that may offensively threaten these mons. Hazard removing pivots like Vibrava, Vullaby, and Emolga benefit Raichu even more by creating VoltTurn cores with it to keep momentum in a battle.

[SET COMMENTS]
Nasty Plot Raichu is a defining setup sweeper in a metagame starved for speed, where Raichu is near the top of the speed tiers without need of a Choice Scarf or speed boosting move wallbreaker and cleaner thanks to its great speed tier. +2 Raichu can handily sweep teams with its coverage and good Special Attack, and it Thanks to Nasty Plot, Raichu is unhindered by common defensive choices like Klang, Hippopotas, and Vespiquen thanks to its STAB and colorful coverage. Write what Focus Blast lets Raichu break. The choice between Surf and Grass Knot usually goes to the former for its more consistent damage against lightweight Electric-resists, immunities such as Hippopotas, opposing Raichu, Emolga, and Dedenne. However, Grass Knot is a very viable option for breaking through Palpitoad, Whiscash, and Seaking, while also dealing greater damage to Solrock, Lunatone, and Mudbray in situations where Raichu has not set up. Surf hits Electric-immunities such as Emolga, Hippopotas, and opposing Raichu for the most damage. Whereas Grass Knot is weaker versus them but lets Raichu break through Electric-immuned Water-types such as Seaking, Palpitoad, and Whiscash. Raichu struggles to switch in due to its mediocre bulk, so Lightning Rod can give it a modicum of an opportunity to lets it take advantage of other Electric types such as? and Volt Switch users like Klang and?. Life Orb is standard for giving Raichu the power it needs to clean up properly, turning many 2HKOs into OHKOs. Rephraze this sentence to explain what mon Raichu is able to break thansk to Life Orb.
As stated, Raichu's bulk is wanting, so avoid hard switching it into attacks. Slow pivoting teammates VoltTurn users such as Klang, Vespiquen, and Vibrava can give Raichu the switch-in opportunity it needs to set up without taking too much damage setup opportunities. Parting Shot users such as Linoone-Galar, Torracat, and Silvally-Ice also support Raichu by dampening hits it may take while setting up. No need to separate different pivots
Like most offensive setup sweepers, Raichu enjoys many hazards on the opponent's side of the field and none on its own. As such, Rapid Spin support from Galarian Mr. Mime and Wartortle or Magic Bounce support from Natu and Hattrem are great additions to any team running NP Raichu. fluff, Raichu doesn't particullary need hazard removal or on the opposing field. Galarian Mr. Mime is particularly notable for threatening Grass types like Ivysaur, Gourgeist-Large, and Gloom that would otherwise stunt Raichu's sweeping attempts. Glalie pairs quite well with Raichu, as it sets Spikes against the opposing team while also taking care of Grass types like Gourgeist-Large, Gloom, and Ivysaur that would otherwise wall Raichu's coverage. Merge the last two sentences into one telling that Raichu appreciates partners that handle Grass-types. You can write more than one sentence, to distinguish different types of Pokemon that threaten Grass-types.

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Specs Raichu takes advantage of Raichu's highly privileged base 110 speed to offensively pivot around the ZU meta with little impunity. This better fits the end of this paragraph. Many Ground-types that would like to switch in to block Volt Switch do not want to take a Surf or Grass Knot, with the latter being mostly for Electric-immune Pokemon that can take a Surf such as Palpitoad, Whiscash, and Seaking. Otherwise, Raichu can very freely pivot around teams with its strong STAB Volt Switch, gaining momentum easily for its teammates. Explain what's Raichu's niche within the tier. Present each move one by one.
Grass-types such as Ivysaur, Gloom, and Gourgeist-Large that can handle Raichu's coverage do not like switching in repeatedly to take +1 Volt Switches, especially if hazards are up. As such, hazard stacking partners that check Grass types like Carkol, Vespiquen, and Glalie all provide great synergy to teams running Specs Raichu. Make Grass-type checks and hazard setters two separate points. As Raichu does not want to be taking hazard chip itself when pivoting on and off the field, pairing it with Rapid Spin support is ideal. Galarian Mr. Mime, Wartortle, and Carkol helps to preserve Raichu's staying power in a battle. Merge the two sentences and replace Rapid Spin support by Hazard removal. Slower pivots that can take powerful attacks aimed at Raichu are also great ideas for teammates: Vespiquen, Vullaby, and Klang all fit this description why?. Fast and hard to block Volt Switches provide great damage and switch-in opportunities for Raichu's teammates to take advantage of. Of note, Silvally-Ice, Zweilous, and Galarian Mr. Mime all prey on the defensive Grass types that Raichu invites in. Merge the last two sentences Silvally-Ice deserves a special mention, as its Ice typing pairs famously with Raichu's Electric STAB, and it can pivot around with either U-Turn or Parting Shot itself. You have to talk about VoltTurn cores!

[SET COMMENTS]
With a Choice Scarf, Raichu outspeeds the entire unboosted metagame, and a majority of the boosted one to boot. Scarf Raichu is the ultimate revenge killer in ZU that does not rely on priority to take down opponents, and it comes with a pivoting move too. STAB Volt Switch gives Raichu momentum against opposing teams while wearing them down with its satisfactory base 90 Special Attack.
Focus Blast is the primary coverage option for hitting mons such as Galarian Linoone, Beartic, Fraxure, Klang, and Eiscue. Grass Knot is slashed over Surf, as many speed boosting mons such as Seaking, Lunatone, Whiscash, and Solrock are actually hit harder by Grass Knot than Surf. However, Surf does preserve greater neutral coverage against opponents like Emolga, opposing Raichu, and Hippopotas.
Similarly to its Specs set, Scarf Raichu prefers having the field clear of hazards so that it can pivot properly. Wartortle, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Carkol all gives Raichu their blessing of preserving hazards on the opposing side while removing them on Raichu's side. However, Defog support from slow pivots like Vespiquen, Vullaby, and Vibrava is still appreciated, as these partners can form great slow-and-fast VoltTurn cores with Raichu.
Other offensive pivots appreciate the momentum that Raichu gives their team. In particular, Silvally-Ice, Torracat
stand out, as their Parting Shots can allow Raichu the ability to take hits, while Raichu wears down the Water types that might check them.

Choice Scarf Raichu doesn't deserve an analysis.

Surf as Raichu's second coverage move gives it the ability to break through Electric-immunities such as opposing Raichu, Dedenne Hippopotas (Dedenne isn't immune to Electric) and Emolga while doing more damage to Hippopotas. Grass Knot gives up the ability to hit the previously mentioned Pokemon in exchange for breaking Electric-immune Ground and Water types such as Palpitoad, Seaking, and Whiscash. Grass Knot also deals more damage than Raichu's STAB, Focus Blast, or Surf to heavy Grass-weak Pokemon like Mudbray, Solrock, and Lunatone. Fluff. With Heavy-Duty Boots, Raichu serves as a very competent offensive pivot between its STAB Volt Switch and privileged base 110 Speed stat excellent Speed (110 base Speed is something you know just by reading the Dex infos). Without the fear of hazard chip or moving second, Raichu can easily pivot against hazard stacking teams in spite of its middling bulk. Mostly fluff, rewrite to only keep that thanks to HDB, Raichu can click VS w/o carrying about hazards. Focus Blast is Raichu's primary coverage move for its damages against common special walls and tanks like Klang, Zweilous, and Dunsparce They all are walls. Focus Blast also has great additional damage to fighting-weak Pokemon like Silvally-Ice, Galarian Linoone, and Glalie. Fluff Knock Off gives Raichu offensive utility by removing Eviolites that many walls in the tier rely on. Raichu tends to lure Eviolite walls such as Palpitoad, Ivysaur, and Gloom in, which means that removing their item makes them ultimately more susceptible to damage from both Raichu and its teammates. Condensate the last two sentences in one: Raichu punishes some of its checks with Koff. Surf is Raichu's best coverage move against a majority of the tier, hitting Electric-immunities like Hippopotas, opposing Raichu, and Emolga for the most damage possible. Surf also deals great super-effective damage against Carkol, Lunatone, and Lampent. Fluff Thunderbolt has value as a STAB move that does not switch Raichu out. This gives Raichu a better chance to KO defensive Electric-weak Pokemon threats like Vespiquen, Vullaby, and Galarian Mr. Mime that might otherwise be able to take a Volt Switch and recover HP later in the battle. fluff Thunderbolt also has better value as a move for revenge killing faster Pokemon in the tier, such as Lopunny, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Mr. Mime, especially without the risk of missing that Focus Blast has. Merged this with the first sentence.

With Choice Specs, Raichu is a powerful and fast offensive breaker and pivot. Volt Switch gives Raichu a STAB pivoting move for dealing damage and switching out of unfavorable matchups. Thunderbolt is a more reliable STAB move that does not switch Raichu out. Focus Blast hits common specially defensive Pokemon such as Klang, Carkol, most Carkol are physdef and Zweilous super effectively. Surf as the last coverage move for Raichu is more helpful against lightweight or Grass-resistant hits Electric-immunities and resists like Vibrava, Carkol, Carkol doesn't resist Grass, isn't immune to Electricity and isn't lightweight, replace it with an Electric-type like Chu, Dedenne, or Emolga and Hippopotas for more damage. Grass Knot can be risky to lock into for its inconsistent damage, but is more helpful against Grass-weak Water-resists Electric-immunities like Seaking and Palpitoad. Both of Surf and Grass Knot also do not have the miss chance of Focus Blast, which can make them more reliable. fluff, the moves don't even have the same targets.
Grass-types such as Ivysaur, Gloom, and Gourgeist-Large that can handle Raichu's coverage do not like switching in repeatedly to take +1 boosted Volt Switches (it still isn't +1 VS), especially if hazards are up. fluff Grass-type checks like Torracat, Zweilous, and Lampent you can find better examples, having lower rank examples isn't bad but only having them is can all take advantage of defensive Grass-types that Raichu invites in. Hazard setters like Vespiquen, Carkol, and Glalie also check Grass-types while setting hazards for Raichu to take advantage of. Raichu does not want to take hazard chip while pivoting on and off the field, so pairing it with hazard removal is ideal. Galarian Mr. Mime, Wartortle, and Stunky name something relevant can all remove hazards from the field for Raichu. Hazard removing pivots like Vibrava, Vullaby, and Emolga benefit Raichu even more by creating VoltTurn cores with it to keep momentum in a battle. VoltTurn teams in particular appreciate Specs Raichu offering breaking power and a fast Volt Switch to the team. Slower defensive pivots like Klang, Vespiquen, and Vibrava do well to take a hit for Raichu while bringing it in, as Raichu generally cannot take many hits with its bad bulk and lack of recovery. Parting Shot users like Galarian Linoone, Silvally-Ice, and Torracat deserve special mention for providing offensive momentum with Raichu and dampening the hits it would normally take with their inflicted stat drops. Condense the last 3 sentences as they repeat some infos and contain a lot of fluff.
