[SET COMMENTS]

Quaquaval is a dangerous wincon within the tier thanks to the combination of Moxie and Aqua Step allowing it to snowball out of control. Quaquaval has an extremely threatening STAB combination that is only resisted by a handful of Pokemon such as Slowking and Latios, and Knock Off provides the perfect coverage to nail them. Triple Axel is an alternative to damage Hydrapple and Clodsire and can get past Ogerpon-C's Sturdy. Swords Dance allows Quaquaval to easily dispatch the likes of Slowking, Rotom-W, and Nasty Plot Hydrapple after minimal chip damage; however, against more offensively inclined teams, it is usually better to rely on boosts from Moxie to sweep. Thanks to its great defensive typing, Quaquaval can find multiple opportunities to use Swords Dance against Pokemon like Tyranitar, Weavile, and Greninja. Leftovers provides Quaquaval with the passive recovery to get multiple turns to snowball and can help keep it out of range of priority attacks from users like Lokix and Hisuian Arcanine. Lum Berry can allow Quaquaval to set up on Pokemon like Slowking and Mandibuzz without fear of getting statused. An Adamant nature is generally preferred, as with the extra power, Quaquaval OHKOes defensive Heatran with Close Combat, has a high chance to KO Latios with Knock Off after Stealth Rock damage, and provides a high chance to KO the likes of Sinistcha and Rotom-W after a Swords Dance boost. A Jolly nature can still be used to outspeed Adamant Lokix unboosted and +1 Adamant Excadrill after an Aqua Step; however, the former will likely attempt to revenge kill Quaquaval with First Impression anyway. Tera Steel is useful as a defensive tool against Latios, Serperior, Azumarill, and Hydrapple. It is best to hold off on Terastallizing Quaquaval unless you are in a position to win the game or severely damage the opposing team for Quaquaval's teammates.

Quaquaval fits best on offensive teams that provide the necessary entry hazard support and powerful partners that can wear down the opposing team for it to sweep successfully. Mew and Sandy Shocks are fantastic partners that provide hazard support to help bring Rotom-W and Azumarill into range of a boosted attack. Sandy Shocks can also bring Quaquaval in with Volt Switch and threaten bulky Water-types. Toxapex is the largest hurdle for Quaquaval, as it easily stomachs a boosted Knock Off, can put Quaquaval on a timer, and removes its boosts with Haze. Partners such as Latios, Zarude, and Thundurus-T can remove Toxapex as well as pressure other common Quaquaval checks like Sinistcha and Slowking. Albeit weak to Aqua Step, Skeledirge can be difficult to handle thanks to Unaware allowing it to always get off a Will-O-Wisp and the potential for a defensive Tera from it, so partners that can overwhelm it such as Greninja, Excadrill, and the aforementioned Latios and Sandy Shocks are helpful. Greninja and Quaquaval can also wear down several of the Water-resistant foes within the tier to help one another sweep late-game. Choice Scarf users like Latios and Zarude can limit Quaquaval's ability to sweep by forcing it to accumulate at least two boosts with Aqua Step. Serperior can use Glare to cripple them as well as other foes like Tornadus-T and Skeledirge. Serperior can also apply pressure against Water-resistant foes like Azumarill and Hydrapple to help Quaquaval sweep. Tornadus-T and Heatran can act as a strong backbone to fall back on against Pokemon like Serperior and Hydrapple. Tornadus-T can also bring Quaquaval in safely with U-turn against Pokemon like Tyranitar and Hisuian Arcanine to freely use Swords Dance.

Quaquaval has an extremely threatening STAB combination that is only resisted by a handful of Pokemon such as Slowking and Latios, Knock Off providing the perfect coverage to nail them. Swords Dance can bolster Quaquaval's attack allowing it to easily dispatch the likes of Slowking, Rotom-W, and offensive Zapdos Nasty Plot Hydrapple after minimal chip; however, against more offensively inclined teams it is usually better to rely on boosts from Moxie to sweep. Thanks to its great defensive typing Quaquaval can find multiple opportunities to Swords Dance against Pokemon like Tyranitar, Weavile, and Greninja. Leftovers is generally preferred as Quaquaval can require multiple turns to snowball so the passive recovery is great and can help keep it out of range of priority users like Lokix and Arcanine-Hisui. Lum Berry can allow Quaquaval to set up on Pokemon like Slowking and Mandibuzz without fear of the status they could inflict upon it. If not running Tera Electric then it can help avoid being punished by Static from Zapdos. An Adamant nature is generally preferred as the extra power notably allows it to OHKO defensive Heatran with Close Combat and have a high chance to KO Latios with Knock Off after Stealth Rock, as well as a high chance to KO the likes of Sinistcha and Rotom-W after a Swords Dance. A Jolly nature can still be used to outspeed Adamant Lokix unboosted and Choice Scarf Okidogi +1 Adamant Excadrill after an Aqua Step; however, the former will likely attempt to revenge kill with First Impression anyway. Tera Electric is mostly used to flip the matchup against Zapdos and give Quaquaval the safety against its Static but it is notably still helpful against Tornadus-T and Thundurus-T. Tera Steel is an alternative option that is useful as a defensive tool against Latios, Serperior, Azumarill, and Hydrapple. It is best to hold off on committing your Tera to Quaquaval unless you are in a position to win the game or severely damage the opposing team for its teammates.

- Add a section about how triple axel is an effective way of ohkoing foes such as latios, tornadus-t, ogerpon-c and hydrapple while koing mandibuzz and clodsire at +2

Quaquaval fits best on offensive teams that provide it with the necessary hazard support and powerful partners that can wear down the opposing team for it to successfully sweep. Mew and Sandy Shocks is a are fantastic partners providing Spikes and Stealth Rock hazard support to help bring Rotom-W and Azumarill into range of a boosted attack. Choice Scarf users like Latios, Okidogi, and Zarude can limit Quaquaval's ability to sweep by forcing it to accumulate at least two boosts with Aqua Step. Serperior is a great partner as it can look to cripple them with Glare on the switch as well as other foes like Tornadus-T and Skeledirge. Serperior can also apply pressure against Water resists like Azumarill and Hydrapple to help Quaquaval sweep. Tornadus-T and Zapdos Heatran can act as a strong backbone to fall back on against Pokemon like Serperior and Hydrapple. Both can also bring Quaquaval in safely, with U-turn and Volt Switch respectively, against Pokemon like Rhyperior, (bro sees 0 use)Tyranitar and Arcanine-Hisui to freely Swords Dance.

- add in after the shocks mention that it can also act as a strong pivot who can threaten bulky waters like the forementioned slowking, as well as pex and skeledirge
