Welcome to Week 1 of PUPL IV! ​


The deadline for this week will occur on Monday, July 2nd, 3:59 AM GMT (11:59 PM EST). Extensions will be given for this week alone, meaning that extensions can be issued out in the event that both players make an equal effort to get their matches started in this week alone. Do not expect more extensions. The main source of communication are expected to be from VMs, so make use of those when contacting opponents.

Please save the replays/logs of your matches and post them in this thread or they will be considered null. Not only do they add some enjoyment for the spectators and verify matches, but they can also be used for discussions pertaining to metagame development, among other things.


Managers, if you're issuing substitutes of players, be sure to post here explaining the details and I'll update accordingly. All substitute requests are subject to veto, so bear that in mind.

While not required, it's highly recommended that you submit your teams to me, as they help greatly in dealing with cases where a disconnection occurs.

SM: Kushalos vs Taskr - kush is at his best when he's into a tier and builds himself imo, something he's not doing for this in all likelihood, so that + taskr being great gives the latter the edge

SM: TJ vs Feliburn - love the ru squad but i think tj's got the edge due to more meta knowledge + felipe having a rather disappointing record last year

As you can see I've been johned by a player who will not fight me on the second day. Imagine getting a whole days prep and not being ready. I have a busy schedule of not being johned so I'm calling activity on bitch boi snagaa.

SM: lax vs FLCL - its quite hard to go againt FLCL
SM: snagaa vs yogi - went undefeated last year/ is better overall imo
SM: LordST vs Charmflash - hes gonna go 6-0
ORAS: Rodriblutar vs bab - i think false is good but im gonna favor the guy who went 5-0 last year
ORAS: robjr vs RawMelon - og
BW: Finchinator vs Quite Quiet - if he doesnt get unlucky, he can win with ease
DPP: Chrisloud1 vs GeneralAnnoyance - just has a lot more experience in dpp imo

SM: Teddeh vs Kingler12345 - has had very good tour performance, despite going 1-4 in pupl last year. I think he will pull an omfuga this year to make up for it

SM: Hamhamhamham vs Pepeduce - PEPEDUCE
ORAS: Pearl vs lockjaw - I think this can go both ways tbh but if i had to pick i'd go with pearl
ORAS: Shaneghoul vs Dundies - kinda hard for him to lose
BW: honchkrow vs amber lamps - better meta knowledge + exp
DPP: Heysup vs MiyoKa - i like miyoka but i think heysup is the better player
