Raichu-Alola @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Volt Tackle
- Extreme Speed
- Focus Punch
- Knock Off

With a Base Attack stat only 10 points lower than that of its Special Attack, Raichu-Alola can pose as a decent Physical Attacker, with Volt Tackle being an insanely strong Base 120 Power STAB move. Extreme Speed gives Raichu-Alola a form of +2 priority to outspeed Lycanroc's Accelerock and Floatzel's Aqua Jet. Z-Focus Punch works similarly to Z-Focus Blast, hitting Pokemon such as Piloswine and Ferroseed for super-effective damage where Raichu-Alola would otherwise have trouble 1v1ing. Lastly, Knock Off removes the foes' item, which can prove helpful for teammates later on in the match, as well as rounding out Raichu-Alola's Fighting/Dark coverage quite nicely.

- Happy Hour
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Psyshock / Focus Blast

Z-Happy Hour has always been an infamous move. Not only was it Charizard's premier set before its ban in PU, but it also made Jirachi a pain to deal with during the UU tier shift a couple months back that inevitably caused it to be banned as well. Omniboost is an incredible tool for offense, as it makes you stronger, faster, and harder to revenge kill, and Alolan Raichu is perfectly capable of abusing that to its fullest. Being able to outspeed every relevant Scarfer in the tier at +1, taking little from priority moves bar Sucker Punch, and hitting +3 after one Nasty Plot means it can often clean up late-game.

192+ Atk Gurdurr Knock Off vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Raichu-Alola: 148-176 (56.7 - 67.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Magnet Rise
- Encore

Now the Electrium Z is obviously not for the Thunderbolt but for Magnet Rise. Because not only it will be immune to Ground-type attacks for 5 turns. But it's evasion will be raised by one! That is not too much but it can be useful. I gave it Focus Blast for the Dark types. Now there are not that many Dark Types but some of the Dark Types in PU are some of the best mons so that will come in handy. Thunderbolt for STAB. And Encore for a Trolly move. Two more things to mention. Ground-Types won't be such a big problem since Alolan-Raichu has fast speed and can outspeed Ground-Types and just use Magnet Rise again. And for Ghost-Types it can outspeed and possibly OHKO Ghost-types with Thunderbolt The only thing you have to look out for is Sucker Punch.

Raichu-Alola @ Choice Specs
Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Grass Knot / Thunderbolt

Basically it's a fast hole puncher and offensive pivot. Slower than Zebstrika, but more powerful. Volt Switch lets you scout switch ins and grab momentum. Psyshock hits physically frail Pokemon like Lanturn hard. You could use Psychic if you want more power. Focus Blast hits Piloswine, Ferroseed, Persian-A, and Miltank. Grass Knot hits Ground-types hard, while Thunderbolt is a strong special STAB. The EVs simply maximise Speed and power.

Calcs
252 SpA Choice Specs Raichu-Alola Psyshock vs. 128 HP / 128 Def Lanturn: 204-240 (48.2 - 56.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Volt Switch
- Knock Off

Alolan Raichu is one of the fastest dual screens setter that also has access to a good utility move for its team in Knock Off, it can also get out and generate momentum with Volt Switch.

Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Psyshock / Psychic

Sub+NP Raichu can effectively beat one of its best checks in Skuntank. Substitute forces Skuntank into 50/50s with Crunch and Sucker Punch depending on what they predict you to do. Nasty Plot helps boost your special attack to actually be able to OHKO Skuntank at +2 with a Thunderbolt. Aloraichium Z (or Electrium if you prefer) has a good chance to OHKO no bulk Skuntank from neutral. Psyshock and Psychic can be chosen between depending on what you want to hit, though Psychic is better if you opt for Psychium Z for the added power.

- Encore / Sing

Here is a cool one, pretty much inspired by Z-Lovely Kiss Jynx. Z-Encore gives Raichu +1 Speed which allows it to outspeed the entire tier whist locking the opposing Pokemon into a move. Z-Encore should be used against Pokemon that have previously used a move like Stealth rock or Swords Dance so Raichu can proceed to a Nasty Plot for free and hopefully sweep. Z-Sing is a cool option which allows it to set up on any slower Pokemon if it hits and puts them to sleep but its generally more unreliable due to it only having 55 accuracy.
