[SET COMMENTS]
Porygon2 is a fantastic special wall thanks to its neutral defensive typing and amazing Eviolite-boosted bulk. Even special wallbreakers and setup users like Rotom-Heat and Frosmoth struggle to break past Porygon2. Additionally, Porygon2's great Special Attack means it isn't overly passive as a wall. Porygon2 uses Tri Attack to fish for status, but it can opt for Tera Blast instead as a decent STAB attack pre-Terastallization and solid Fairy-type STAB attack against Fighting-types once it's Terastallized. Shadow Ball covers Ghost-types like Hoopa and Houndstone, and it does decent damage against Psychic-types like Galarian Articuno and Bruxish. Ice Beam is stronger against Rhydon and still covers Ghost-types like Golurk and Palossand for Porygon2. Foul Play punishes physical attackers like Bruxish and Lycanroc, and it's much stronger than Shadow Ball against Golurk and Hoopa. Thunder Wave slows down faster Pokemon like Salazzle, Frosmoth, and Galarian Articuno that might use setup moves to overwhelm Porygon2, keeping it from being too passive. Trace has several fantastic interactions with foes Porygon2 seeks to check, including Tatsugiri, Toxtricity, and Frosmoth. Additionally, Porygon2 can use Trace to copy situationally useful abilities, such as Altaria's Natural Cure and Sandaconda's Shed Skin to heal off status. Tera Fairy lets Porygon2 completely shut down Tatsugiri, and Fairy is a generally strong defensive typing that turns Porygon2's Fighting weakness into a resistance.
Bulkier teams appreciate Porygon2 as a specially defensive anchor and blanket check to special attackers from Tatsugiri to Toxtricity. Physically defensive teammates like Mudsdale and Bellibolt can handle physical attackers like Paldean Tauros-F and Bombirdier for Porygon2, forming a complementary defensive core with it. Wo-Chien and Hisuian Decidueye can check Rhydon and Mudsdale for Porygon2, while it checks specially offensive Pokemon like Delphox and Rotom-H for them. Copperajah can check and phaze setup sweepers like Florges, Frosmoth, and Galarian Articuno that might overwhelm Porygon2 after multiple boosts. Knock Off absorbers like Florges, Bellibolt, and Skuntak help Porygon2 to hang onto its Eviolite and maintain its excellent bulk. Checks to Fighting-types, including Galarian Articuno, Altaria, and Palossand, are key to mitigating Porygon2's sole type weakness and not coercing it into Terastallizing.
