Policy on Cross-Site Punishments

PS bans -> Smogon

• Users who are permanently locked on PS for spamming or trolling will be given a 3 point (ICBB), indefinite infraction on Smogon.
• Users who are permanently locked on PS for posting porn, shock sites, doxxing, etc. will be permanently banned from Smogon.
• Users who are permanently locked on PS for major hate speech within PS, Smogon, and affiliated Discord servers, will be permanently banned from Smogon.

Smogon bans -> PS

• Users who are banned for 6 months or more on Smogon will be locked on PS for the duration of their forum ban.

Smogon bans -> Discord

• Users who are banned for 6 months or more on Smogon will be banned from every Smogon Discord in the Smogon Discord Directory and any other official Smogon Discord for the duration of their forum ban.

Notes:

• PS permalocks are evaluated on a case-to-case basis. If a user is poorly-behaved while they are supposed to be permalocked as part of a cross-site punishment, the permalock may be continued formally even after the Smogon ban ends.
• Servers not covered under the Smogon Discord Directory may also apply this policy, or ask for automatic coverage of this policy through Senior Staff.
• By following the rules on both sites these punishments are unlikely to affect you.
