"Hello, my name is Professor Chou. In this world, there are numerous mysterious creatures called Pokemon."

galom.png

"Pokemon come in all shapes and sizes, and people around the world enjoy the numerous experiences with Pokemon, whether it be collecting, breeding, contests, having fun, or forging friendships and bonds.

"But really, all of that is not important, because the only thing that really matters in Pokemon, is winning... And winning, and winning even more.

"Let's face it, if you're aiming for anything besides the title of 'Pokemon Master', you're pretty much just a loser in the world of Pokemon. Clashes in the greatest level of skill, becoming the most elite of the elite -- that is all that should be on the mind of the Pokemon trainer, and to that end there is so much to learn. It's a great big world of Pokemon out there, and it's up to you to discover it.

"We have discovered over 700 species of Pokemon, but there are only about 50 of them that are really worth remembering... 100 if being generous. You can find a list of them here in the Viability Rankings. Basically, the other Pokemon are... shitty and unviable. Don't use them.

"There are also a whole bunch of Pokemon, abilities, items, and moves that are clearly unfair and unbalancing and broken for true competition, so you can ignore them too -- and we're always working on improving this system. As a tiering researcher at Smogon University, I've dedicated my life at Smogon to helping tier leaders and the community discover what needs to be banned -- for the sake of real and competitive Pokemon.

"Through research and vast data of great players, here at Smogon University, we have made the ultimate dream for trainers a reality-- an entire region with nothing but Pokemon that are actually good. Welcome to the SmogSmog region, we are sure that it will make you a true Pokemon Master.

"That, or you'll just lose and find your place amongst the scrubs and idiots. With that, your own adventure in Pokemon awaits!"

[insert evil laughter]
Development of the SmogSmog Region Project

Hello everyone and welcome to the Pokemon Smogon Region project! With this thread we're doing something a bit different from all the other purely competitive threads -- something fun, something creative, something that is still deliciously elitist and when you include hilarious OU personailities like Recreant, AM and Karxrida What could possibly wrong?. The aim of this thread is to answer the question while having a little fun on the way:

What would an in-game Pokemon experience look like when entirely focused on making a Smogon OU-centric experience?

Where the Elite Four is so insane that you can't beat them without a truly competitive team, the gym leaders are too (with full, competitive teams of 6 bad-ass members), but the whole in-game experience is geared towards helping you raise a truly OU worthy roster; where you need to be a true competitive player to actually beat the game -- and the game itself is actually developed to teach what it takes to be a competitive player. This will of course encompass the education of how to battle (predictions, type effectiveness, playstyles etc.), process of teambuilding (type synergy, checking and countering certain threats etc.) and methods of using each Pokemon (optimal EV spreads, analyses etc.).

This thread is strictly fun and hypothetical, and is not intended to be the blueprint for an actual rom or Pokemon game remake. Please don't discuss something like that here either.

10 Quality starters Pick well

Where you can run into charming NPCs such as these:
"Hello trainer, do you know what IVs are? I'm the IV guru, but you can talk to one of my brothers in any of the Pokemon Centers. We'll let you know how your IVs stack up. What!? You don't know what IVs are!?? Well, it's clear you've got a long way to go as a trainer. Let me explain. See, everytime you acquire a Pokemon, a random number between 0-31 is generated for each stat called an Individual Value, or IV. At level 100, that stat will be boosted by 1 for every point you have in IV. For the most part, if your Poke doesn't have 30-31 in every stat, it sucks. Would you like me to rate your Pokemon?"
"Wow, your Fletchling is Quiet? That kind of sucks balls."

"Hello there, I'm master chef Jimbo-- the greatest, chef in the world in skill and girth. What? You want me to make you something? Screw that. Tell you what though, bring me some food (berries, honey, whatever), and from my amazing dishes, I'll hand you some leftovers. Should be enough for the likes of you.

Give Jimbo food? (Yes/No)

Alright, let me see what I can do.
...
Here you go. Let me know when you want more leftovers."

"High, yes, I am the EV shifter Delko. I have psychic powers that let me shift EVs you've terribly put in badly arranged slots, and move them into stats where they'll actually be useful. Would you like me to use my powers on your Pokemon? Ewww... 233 EVs of Special Attack on your Gliscor? We'll have to fix this shit."

^Yes, we can, have and will make NPCs based off of actual users in the forums.
BUT DO NOT SUGGEST or make AN NPC BASED OFF YOURSELF.

Obviously, there are a lot of details that goes into planning an entire in-game experience (and we'll only get as detailed as people are willing to participate-- the more people get involved, the more detailed we'll get). So here's how it will work:

Designing Routes / Towns

All of the designs will be made based on:

1) Time Period for Proposals
2) Proposal posts for details about different game aspects
3) LIKES (the more up votes/likes a proposal gets, higher chance it'll be included in that town/route's information)

Routes will go in an orderly, numeric fashion. Generally speaking, they will follow a feel/design similar to equivalents in actual Pokemon games (the first route is a simple meadow with bird and small mammal mons, route 2 or 3 will have a bug/grass dungeon, routes later in the game can have mountain or ocean, etc.).

Towns too should roughly fit the mold of what a town would be like at that point in the game.

During route design, I will start discussion by posting some basic details-- options for terrain types, # of wild Pokemon slots, etc. (usually only those two details, though I might casually recommend up some potential proposals for mons on said route)

During Town design, I will say whether a town has a gym or not, but otherwise, completely open to proposals for what the town will be like. Towns may take more time to design, especially if they have a gym leader.

I will give 1-2 weeks for posters to post proposals about the Route or Town. (could be shorter for simpler routes though). It should be noted tho this is flexable.

Wild Pokemon: I'll say how many species of wild Pokemon there should be on a given route, but from there it's up to you guys to propose what should be there. 1 Proposal post should only propose ONE POKEMON. Keep in mind: WILD POKEMON IN THIS REGION CAN HAVE THEIR DREAM WORLD ABILITIES.

Example post:
Route 1
Fletchling
Level 3-6
Reasoning: Talonflame is the best small bird in the game-- it's only only one that's A ranked. Really, there's no reason why there would be any bird on this route but the Smogon bird (and maybe starly... maybe...). Find it in the basic grass.

Rules on Pokemon Proposals:
1. DO NOT PROPOSE A POKEMON THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PROPOSED
(though you may discuss/respond to why that Pokemon deserves to be on that route)
2. UPVOTE the proposals for Pokemon you want to be on the route-- the Proposals with the most "likes" = the Pokemon chosen for the route
3. The Pokemon MUST be on the Viability Ranking list, or un-evolved form.
UNLESS:
a) They are a Pokemon really good for EV training (such as Shuppet) b) They are a Pokemon really good for Experience (Audino) c) They are a parent that gives a Viability Rank mon a certain Egg move d) name is Ditto
Note: Moody, Evasion, OHKO moves, and banned Pokemon will be totally removed from Pokemon's learn sets and the game-- as will TMs, items (banned mega stones), etc. that would ruin the Smogon-OU pure environment of this region.

Event Pokemon: Event Pokemon can be proposed on any route or town, but I will use my discretion on whether a proposal makes sense or not. Generally speaking, an event Pokemonmon should be something more of a NICHE Pokemon (think Eevee), or a Legendary Pokemon (or something like Rotom). Pokemon such as Altaria, Bisharp or Dragonite that fit on a variety of team types and are staples of many teams should pretty much be in the wild so that a player could have easy access to getting it on his team.

Rules for Proposing Items and NPCs:

Items: Mainly focused on TMs/HMs/Competitive items, and at which timing and how they should be introduced, but just throw up proposals and if people like your proposals, it'll get included.

NPCS: Non-player characters, all those fun guys who come up and talk to you on a given route. These will have a lot less rules, and generally speaking, if the character makes sense and is fun, it'll be included. These characters are BETTER if based on an actual user, but try not to be (too much of) a dick when designing them. Character proposals CAN be opportunities to propose the entry of a new battle item or TM, or teaching the player something important about competitive battling. It can also be a battler with actual Pokemon.

Example:
NPC: Ninja, Somalia
Script: Ugghhh... I'm giving up this shit ass game, here you can have this if you want.
*You received TM 53!*
Meh, Giga Drain is almost always better, but if you got to teach Energy Ball to something, teach it to a grass-type and not a water-type like Jellicent. Because that would be gay lol.

Route 1 NPC: Random guy hidden behind rock outcrop
Script: Shhhh these rocks are my stealthy hiding place. Tell you what, if you keep my hideout a secret, I'll give you a present. Here, take this TM for Stealth Rocks.

Note: Try to stay away from designs based on REALLY well known/successful tournament players and/or leaders in the community, since these are members people will likely want to use for designs of Gym Leaders / E4 / Champion character proposals

Storyline: Generally speaking, we'll be more focused just on talking about where Pokemon/items show up and probably a LOT about gym leaders and game design... BUT if you want to write potential story line for the route/town being discussed, give it a shot -- and if people like it a lot (or if I just like it a lot...) it'll get included in that route/town's information. This includes events and whatnot.

Gym Leader Design Rules:

The gym leaders are going to be a bit different from the other characters, but same in basic principle. First, I will propose a "type" for the gym, and then posters will propose basic designs.

1) When designing a gym leader, first people will post proposals for basic design: Name of Gym Leader, 6 Pokemon, Script
2) The gym leader should probably be based on one of our members (and one of the better, more well-known players)
3) The 6 mon roster SHOULD include Pokemon NOT belonging to the gym's type, that can cover for the type's weaknesses (ie. Rotom appearing in the bug gym to cover the Flying weak).
4) In the same way as everything else, proposal that gets the most likes will BE CHOSEN
(Probably 1 week spent here)

5) From there, we will go onto choosing the actual sets-- in the same way, people will post proposal sets for each of the 6 Pokemon proposed in the original design. 1 Post, 1 set.
6) Posts with high likes will be chosen for the sets

example:
(Proposed Bug Gym Leader)
Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Level 23
252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SPe
Modest Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split

Now that we've talked about all the basics stages, there's one more thing I'd like to talk about-- The Bad Guys.
"Ah, there is one thing I'd like to warn you about before you head out on your adventure. Word has it that a new team of villains has been assembling in the shadows, the netherworlds of terrible online Pokemon stuff. They call themselves "Team Luck-Sack", and the name is quite fitting. They're an uncivilized bunch, dipping their hands into all the unsavory and unlawful practices of Pokemon-- evasion moves, moody, breaking sleep clause, using Swagger, and using Pokemon that have explicitly been banned by the lawful body, the Smogon Pokemon League and University.

"We have established tight security over the region, so I don't foresee any problems but... rumor has it that team lucksack is working on developing the technology to invade the region and challenge the OU council, and are slowly creeping in. It's just rumor though.
Generally speaking, lucksackers suck at Pokemon, so you should be able to handle any minor conflicts, but keep an eye out for them..."

Team luck-sack -- this should give you a feel for them.

Grunts: Shitty, terrible Pokemon not on the viability list, such as Ninjask, but using Double Team, OHKO moves, and Swagger.
Higher level grunts: Could see Prankster + Swagger and Moody.

Executive's and Scientists: Still see crappy non OU-viable mons mixed into their teams, but Ubers, banned Mega Stones, and full Prankster-Swagg + Ditto, full Baton Pass may feature on their teams
Admins + TLS leader: Really scary Teams that'll do all it takes to crush you. While some choice's may still be questionable these teams are basically Uber Teams without Deity class legends or Early XY teams like Deo-sharp. You'll even see a mega salamance in the final Battle
:toast: Happy Posting :toast:

FAQ
1. Why does Recreant get an NPC and not me. Can I add myself? Like stated in the summary someone else has to propose you as an NPC and that does not also mean you ask us to make you. If we or another poster on there own decides your good enough for an NPC then you'll be proposed. In addition if you have contributed regularly through out the project you'll get a Trainer on victory road if nowhere else atleast.

2. Retrospective edits and older content? Things can change from time to time to better suit the game as the progect advance's. Although we cant update older versions of the thread we can track it on a sheet. If you wish to discuss this PM one of the thread managers.

3. This is awesome Can I make a ROM Hack? This is not the place to discuss the issue and laws vary from country to country. Please do not propose it.

4. Can I propose new pokemon? This is a flat no. It has to already exist to be put in the game

5. If I want to contribute art or other stuff can I? Yes you can, Infact we want all the art, sprites, maps and dialogs we can get. If you have doubts just PM Myself or one of the Co-managers. We will happily answer them

6. Is Creator of Chaos the 2nd coming of sauron and should we be worried about his rise to power? Yes this is true. Very true. But yoou should not fear for I am a lover of fairies and only want to rule to spread the fairy Gospal. Now get proposing and Enjoy the game

Reserving Just in case. Feel Free to post from this point onwards

http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...ym-medieval-town.3537730/page-12#post-6482849 Our good Friend Salemance wraped up the previous Town quite nicely and any info needed can be obtained here. Long story short the town is has many medieval traditions, Fairy guild and many of the other guilds didn't get along and TLS Exploited this to by time for there own ends and nearly brought the town to war. Salamance explains everything better.

Anyway a Few things. I'll be updating the TM list Shortly and I'm going to start putting togethor a set bullet points that'll Help cover the game and allow us to track retrospective change's should they be made rather then trying to edit individual posts. This wont happen right away but Its coming

Also I'll be adding a map to the OP once I've edited it in to

In Addition Route 12 is up for Discussion. Pretty much this is the games Surf route with water as far as the eye can see. Somee Whirlpools, Rocks and a few islands make for some nice obstacles but largely its water until you reach the next Town. Also instead of crappy Magikarps and Seakings you'll be dealing with the likes of Dragon Dance Gyrados, Speed Boost protect Sharpedo and Huge power Azumarill. Not only is the route gonna be long its going to be as agonising as possible Thankfully there no TLS here or other trouble makers but plently to do

Points to Discuss
- Route Events
- Pokemon
- NPCs

Feel free to post and if anyone has questions ask myself or Any of the other thread council members. we will gladly help.

Ight so to see what goes on after that big event of a town we get this nice relaxing....long....water route. The player gets to surf around, letting their thoughts boil over the thoughts they've seen. Do they agree with the evils of Luck Sack? Do they want to use a regular monkey over an Ambipom? Why are they even in this thing to begin with?

I mean they could, but they could very well just be doing the same ol same ol of just going cross the route. Here I'm thinking of this:

NPC Proposal

On a small little sand thing ya see on most water routes, ya see a dang scientist...and already don't like where this is going.

"Oh if it isn't (insert player name here)! Prof Chou wanted me to give you his condolences for getting this far! I was tasked with giving you Sharpedite or however ya say it..." He sorta trails off as he digs in his pockets to give ya the stone...only to realize he doesn't have it. "What? NO no no! This was imported, couldn't find it without going through some foreign salesman at the end of the route and that's only after paying millions for it!"

Ya really start to feel bad for this guy. Screws up every time ya run into him, and now he costs the Prof millions upon millions....then some damn swimmer is seen getting on the sand here and says "Thanks for dropping this when ya landed on that dirt scientist! Been wondering how to get this!"

"Please (insert player name here), get that stone back!"

Mid Battle: Gatr Power is what we do!
End Battle: Dang it, was feeling it...

The Swimmer hands over the stone, and states that trying out the idea of M-Sharpedo will have to wait later. The Scientist starts gleefully jumping for joy and says "Later then! Won't see me again since this point on is that other Assistant's territory. Wouldn't call him assistant, maybe grad student? I don't know, but have fun!" Ya roll your eyes and look at the stone and see a note saying "Go take care of that salesman please. Think he is profiting off of Luck Sack chaos. - Prof C."

With that done, new stone given, told of new assistant, and also told of some crazy stone selling M-Sharpedo man on a later route to take care of too! Course the real good news is that dang assistant is gone. So tired of his antics (and trying to think of new stuff for him to screw up...)

That scientist is always getting into trouble hahaha :). Next thing you know you'll see him on victory road hung upside down while some random crobats and a Clefable use him as a pinata. Keep it going Salemance Did I spell it correctly this time?

Anyway a quick pokemon Proposal

Gyrados 84-89
Reason: Bulky hard hitting pokemon that can fufill both offensive and defensive roles and fits in pretty much any archtype except full stall
- Rare
- Found (Pretty much along the entire water route but gets alot more common closer to the next town for some reason)
- 5% Mystic Water, 10% Leftovers
- Moves Dragon Dance, Aqua Tail, Ice Fang, Crunch/Earthquake/Bounce

I do have a small question, have you thought about making it on a computer rom? A lot of programs make it pretty easy to do this kind of stuff I can even recommend some things as I used to really enjoy making my own games back in 2007
This thread is strictly fun and hypothetical, and is not intended to be the blueprint for an actual rom or Pokemon game remake. Please don't discuss something like that here either.
I'd appreciate it if you'd read the OP, please. If you have the ability and time to turn this game into a ROM yourself, please PM myself and the other council members, but keep it out of the thread.

I've added an Available legends list so we can actually track what we have added and so everyone can see lol. If I've gotten anything wrong Please let me know as i'm sure I have 1 or 2 wrong. Even my memory is not perfect lol

I'll be posting a move tutor event npc tommorow :)

I could support getting behind totadile as a starter and I dont even think its in the game yet (I know serperior is). Mega Swampert is honestly kinda Meh outside rain and Even then struggles with commen mons like mananphy, Goth and Sableye. Sheer force feraligater is good on multiple playstyles and has multplie movesets.

If Everyone supports it we'll change the starter to totodile and add swampert somewhere on this water route

Time for a small Event. This time its to teach pokemon certain moves such as draco Metoer as well as moves from previous gens that are not avaible in current games. These include Whirlpool, Endure, Soft-boiled and Defog (Not 100% on this please tell me if We've already done it). Theres probably others I'm missing but yeah those are the key ones. Anyway Long story short this girl is a cruddy shop keeper who essentially makes her money teaching pokemon new moves

Event Proposal - Whirlpool Island
Description: So basically In the middle of seemingly nowhere is this weird Island with a girl and a building on it surrounded by Whirlpools and some very angry Kingdra who seem intent on attacking said girl. When you approach These Kingdra will turn around and attack you. Not only do you tho have to battle all the kingdra you must navigate your way through the whirlpools to reach the island. Theres a catch tho all these kingdra are battle ready so it wont be be a matter of powering your way through these things are mean and Intent on destroying anything human that comes near (As well as presenting a neat oppurtunity to get a battle ready pokemon)

All the kingdra come with rain already in play because whirlpools
Kingdra @ Roseli Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Scald

Kingdra @ Roseli Berry
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 SpA / 8 SpD / 248 Spe

- Hidden Power [Fire]

Kingdra @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

Following the defeat the remaining kingdra flee and a path opens Allowing you access to the Island. The girl who is playing with a klefki seems none the wiser to whats happened. At this point all she says ''klefki is the most beautiful pokemon in the world, Its a large set of keys'' completely oblivious that your even there. Ignoring her you enter inside to find a shop with nobody inside. Just as you go to leave she follows you in seemingly unamused beginning the Encounter

Hey do you play Smash... Well its not like you can buy anything. I kinda eat all the stock as it comes in and instead make money by teaching rare pokemon move's.....I know since I want to show off my Klefki and beedrill why dont we battle. You beat me I'll forgive you for ruining my paradise and making me work. I'll even teach you the first move free

EDIT: Location Proposal

Keldeo and the Sea Shrine!

So, after Surfing around for a while, you will come across a large rock formation with a cave cut into it. Inside the cave is a water-filled blueish room (you are still Surfing) with a large shrine in the shape of a sword. However, the shrine will do nothing unless you happen to have a Pokémon with the move Rain Dance or the Ability Drizzle. When you approach the Shrine with this Pokémon, a downpour will suddenly rain down from the ceiling and form a whirlpool that will pull you under.

You get pulled into a maze of whirlpools and shit, yay whirlpools. You will have to navigate it successfully to get to the end, occasionally facing wild Gyarados that inhabit the chamber. At the center, you will find Keldeo itself standing there, and it will challenge you to a battle at level 80.

Finally, upon catching Keldeo and leaving, you can go to the Shrine to teach Keldeo Secret Sword at any time.

To recap:
Level 78-79 Gyarados
Level 80 Keldeo (x1)
Secret Sword

I have 2 Pokemon Proposals for the Route

Tentacruel 80-84
Reason: A bulky rapid Spinner That can check fairie's and spread toxic Spikes. A particularly rare hazard.
- Common
- Found Along the whole route except near whirlpool Island and the keldeo shrine

Pidgeot - 83-87
Reason: It mega evolves into Recreant 's 2nd favourite pokemon bird Jesus. Do I say more about our lord and saviour
- Common
- Found on small islands accross the route
- Item 5% for light clay because no reason

So given that feraligator is decent in the current game and swamperts viability is declining would everyone be ok with changing the starter as was suggested earlier?.

In addition I'm gonna compile a list of all the pokemon we have available.

So this post is not wasted.

Pokemon proposal
Honchrow 79-86

Reason: mixed attacking late game cleaner that offers a viable alternative to bisharp.
- Rare
- Found across the whole route on and around islands
- No item

Nominating Cobalion and Terrakion event

NPC Old Man Victor (introduced in the TLS Genesect Lab) returns.

Victor lives in a wooden house by himself. The building is really out of the way of common routes and is very hard to notice unless you already know that it is there (either by him telling you in the previous encounter or Sturridge telling you in the hospital or you just randomly decide to go there because the place exists). Although Victor is quite old, you can see that he still has reserves of energy by observing how neat his garden is and the fact that he has a lot of Gym Equipment in his house (you can train here if you wish to). Upon seeing you, he will recognize you as the Trainer who fought Genesect in the TLS lab.

" Youngster, we meet again. You were the Trainer who fought Genesect in the Team Luck Sack lab, were you not? "

If you met him before,

" I see how much you have grown since we last met each other, youngster. I wish I could congratulate you on your victory over Genesect back then but the threat Team Luck Sack presents to us is still as strong, or should I say, stronger than ever. If you are going to take them down head-on, you are going to need a new power. However, power is a very dangerous thing in the wrong hands. Allow me, Victor to test whether you are worthy of it. "

If you did not speak to him before or claim to not want to take Team Luck Sack down previously,

" Youngster, I have long longed to speak to you ever since I saw you continue foiling Team Luck Sack's plan. You even defeated Genesect and in doing so, have finally seen the light that Team Luck Sack shall be taken down as soon as possible. If you are going to take them down head-on, you are going to need a new power. However, power is a very dangerous thing in the wrong hands. Allow me, Victor to test whether you are worthy of it. "

Quotes

Pre-battle
" Battle with all your strength, youngster. Let me see whether you have what it takes."
Last Pokemon
" Impressive, but you're mistaken if you think I'm beaten."

If you lose
" Hmm, I thought I saw potential in you. Perhaps I was mistaken in believing you to be the chosen one. "

If you win
" Youngster, this Old Man recognises your prowess as a Trainer. Perhaps you are the one to spearhead our fight against Team Luck Sack. To help you in your quest, I'll tell you all I know about the Legendary Pokemon Cobalion. "

" Cobalion was the leader of the Swords of Justice, which consists of itself, Terrakion, Virizion and Keldeo. A long time ago, the Swords of Justice banded together to protect Pokemon from the humans in the interspecies war between humans and Pokemon. They consider selfish and evil as the latter harmed the habitat of Pokemon in the name of town expansion. After the war, the group of Pokemon disappeared and never to be heard of again, presumably avoiding contact with humans. Well, that lasted until a certain Trainer won their trust and they participated in the struggle against Team Plasma in the faraway Unova region. "

" That's all human history tells us. However, things were not quite as simple as they seem. It was during the struggle that some of the extreme ideas of Team Plasma managed to seep into their minds and corrupted them. Youngster, you do know that Smogon disallows the usage of certain Pokemon and bans uncompetitive strategies, do you not? Apparently, Virizion saw it as an attempt of human beings to subjugate Pokemon and restrict their freedom. Cobalion, who did not buy into this theory, opposed Virizion but this disagreement escalated and caused friction among the Swords of Justice as Terrakion backed Cobalion while Keldeo was more easily swayed by Virizion's extremist views."

" A few months ago, I stumbled into Cobalion while in my missions against Team Luck Sack. It was in a poor state, with wounds all over its steel body. It did not trust me and attempted to flee. Although I managed to restrain it, winning over its trust and allowing me to nurse it back to health took some time. Cobalion is waiting for a Trainer that can help it reform the Swords of Justice and drive Team Luck Sack out. I believe you are that Trainer, < player >. It is now in the Sacred Blade Chambers."

Location Proposal: Sacred Blade Chambers

Sacred Blade Outer Chamber

You can see some Wild Pokemon in the chamber here. There is also a need for Flash to show the path. You also need to solve a Strength puzzle.

Lucario Lv 70 - Lv 73
Medicham Lv 65 - Lv 75
Bisharp Lv 65 - Lv 75
Ferrothorn Lv 70 - Lv 73
Tyranitar Lv 74

Sacred Blade Inner Chamber

This is just a small meditation chamber in which you find Cobalion in the middle. It seems to be waiting for you. There is no other Pokemon in the Inner Chamber.

Event Proposal : Terrakion in the Chamber of Power
Required: - Cobalion must be in the party
- Must have spoken to Old Man Kudo with Cobalion in the party

After you have captured Cobalion, Old Man Victor will comment on you being able to befriend the Leader of the Swords of Justice. He will also relay Cobalion's comments to you as he has the ability to communicate with it.

" < player > , I see that you have won the trust of one of the Swords of Justice, Cobalion. As the leader of the group, however, Cobalion is extremely worried about its friends, especially Terrakion which sided with it during the war. Young Keldeo was also constantly in its mind as it is naive and might get easily taken in by Virizion's words. Therefore, I urge you to help Cobalion to gather its companions, which incidentally will also benefit your quest to defeat Team Luck Sack. Do you agree to this proposal? "

If you say no
" Well, it's your decision to make. Come back if you change your mind. "
If you say yes:
" Excellent! Now, I have already marked the last place Terrakion was seen in on your Town Map. It was weeks ago but searching there is the best clue that you will get. I wish you luck in your quest. "

Now, until you have captured Terrakion, you will see that Mount Dogars has been marked with an "X" symbol. If you happen to visit that place while Cobalion is in your party, a short cutscene will play.

Cobalion suddenly wobbles in its Pokeball. Getting the hint, you to let you out of its Pokeball, allowing it to scour the remaining area carefully for Terrakion's tracks. Although none of the tracks are found, Cobalion urges you to use Rock Smash on one of the walls of the cave.

If you do, a narrow passageway is found. Both of you, highly alert on the presence of danger, jog off along the path. The terrain was obviously not designed with human use in mind as you need Rock Climb to transverse it. Along the way, you spot several Team Luck Sack members who were slacking off on their watch. Some of them are trying to scale the terrain, with minimal success. One such member spotted you as he slips down the terrain and challenges you to a battle.

After you have successfully scaled the cliff with Rock Climb, you stumbled upon an ominous sight. Dozens of Team Luck Sack members were around, although you notice that they are in no condition to fight, having been exhausted by the terrain or were knocked out by something else. You walk past them unchallenged and was met by a Strength puzzle. After you have solved it, you managed to enter the Inner Sanctum of this Chamber. Similar to Cobalion's Inner Chamber, the Inner Sanctum is small and the Legendary Pokemon Terrakion is inside. However, you realise that you and Cobalion are not the only ones who make it here.

Terrakion is fighting a desperate and losing battle against a Team Luck Sack member, who is commanding a Virizion. Just as he is about to land the finishing blow, Cobalion steps into the battle and parries Virizion's blows. This causes the Team Luck Sack member to notice you.

" So, you meddling kid managed to win the trust of a Legendary Pokemon, eh? No matter, you will still not be able to defeat me, Roark! "

Note: This battle starts off with you leading Cobalion against his Virizion (similar to your Zekrom facing off against Reshiram in White)

After the battle was over, Terrakion showed you a spring of healing, which restored your party members to full health. It then engages in conversation with Cobalion and seemed to be ready to be your ally when it was ambushed and OHKOed by a stray Psychic attack. Glancing in that direction, you saw an unmistakably Team Luck Sack member who was holding the forbidden item Soul Dew. The man was looking at the fallen Terrakion with a sneer.

" Pathetic, this is the extent of the power of the famed Sword of Justice who gave my grunts so much trouble? I guess grunts just cannot be relied on to do a job these days. "

He now shifts his attention to you.

" My, my, aren't you < player > that we have heard so much about? This is my lucky day. If I defeat you, they will surely promote me to the position of administrator . "

After you win, there will be a short cutscene where Virizion takes care of Terrakion and helps to heal it in the healing spring. It then gallops away from the place. As Terrakion got healed, it made good of its promise to be your ally although you need to capture it in battle.

After completing this sidequest, if you happen to visit Old Man Victor, he will have something new to say.

" I know you can do it, < player >. You not only foiled Team Luck Sack's plans again but also gained Terrakion as your partner as a bonus. Virizion dropped by a few moments before you came here. It seems that it has not seen the fault of its ways and is making its way back to the Sacred Chamber to train and of course, resume its mission as one of the Swords of Justice, which is to protect the Pokemon from evil. I doubt you can find it now as it seems to be ashamed of what it did and is trying to atone for its mistakes. "

" By the way, Virizion told me some interesting things. It turns out that it and Keldeo went separate ways shortly after Cobalion's disappearance as Keldeo's growing mistrust of Team Luck Sack caused a rift between it and Virizion. It then moved to the Sea Shrine to train itself and trying to segregate itself from this conflict. Perhaps, if you venture there, you could convince Keldeo to join you? After all, you already have two of its older brethren as your ally. "

EDIT: Finished this part.

Alright everyone I have added an updated version of the Smogon map to the OP so nobody gets lost. I hope everyone likes it.

While I'm here I'm gonna give congradultions to Random Passerby on his well made Coballion and terrakion event. Very comprehensive and expands abit on TLS while linking to Phione Keldeo shrine somewhat. Also like how it expands on past areas like mt dogars :). TLS just cant leave that area alone it seems even if it is a side-quest XD

That leaves us with only 5 uncaught legendaries left and a few hidden behind timed gate's.

Anyway We need a few trainers for this route. I'll post some up shortly

Edit: Also me, phione and Salemance have agreed to Change the water starter from Mudkip (Swampert) to Totodile (Feraligatr) To reflect the change in viabiliy. Salemance will have more on this shortly but for now I'm gonna make a request for some Feraligatr sets if people wanna post a few

Don't see need for Gatr sets (unless ya just mean the IV stuff and everything).

Anyway, but ya, the water starter is changing once more (the one starter who has received the most change due to Gren ban and due to Gatr being Gatr) and the OP will be changed and all shortly.

Now just have to make Swampert catchable.....

Pokémon Proposal
Swampert (Lvls 77 - 86)
- Super Rare variety
- Not caught via fishing
- No held item

Ight there is that. Yall can continue with any outrageous things you would like to contribute to the route or sensible things (like you could propose an electro magnetic cocoon in this water route for all as long as people like it enough). If you see another mon that is sorely missing and we need, ya can out it here as long as it being near the ocean makes sense. Three more trainers would be nice as well (these could be swimmers or orangutans). Happy creating!

I've updated the OP to include the new starters. I've also began adding the games available pokemon to the OP which will be ordered via first appearance including evolutions with the routes there found also added.
