I decided to try and make Trevanant good since it's one of my favorite Pokémon. I thought the best way to do so was to have this trick room/sun team. Keep in mind I made this yesterday at like 11pm so that's way i may do some weird things with this team but I refined it today..

Dead Tree (Trevenant) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 64 Def / 72 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Poltergeist
- Wood Hammer
- Horn Leech

Yeah, I finally learned how to use Pokepaste. Anyways Trevanant being the main means i gotta build a whole team around it. So my idea was a trick room team that later added the sun to take advantage of harvest and sitrus berry combo. The Evs I gave it help it hit hard and be decently bulky. I gave it basic moves with horn leech for recovery, wood hammer and poltergeist for big damage, and tera ground earthquake can do good against the fire types that might wanna take advantage of the sun.

I LIKE HATSSS (Hatterene) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Trick Room
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss
- Tera Blast

Hatterene is my main and only trick room setter. With magic bounce it can get rid of hazards as long as its on the battle fields when they get laid. For its moves i went with a calm mind and tera fire plus draining kiss for extra recovery on top of leftovers.

Samurai Hair (Kingambit) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
- Iron Head
- Kowtow Cleave
- Low Kick
- Tera Blast

Kingambit is my main sweeper as with its ability it can quickly pick up KOs. I went with an assualt vest set since i figured that its so strong anyways even without the boosts that I could invest in some bulk. I went pretty standard with the move set as I just wanted to cover my bases, except this time I use low kick as i usually don't.

Salt Mountain (Garganacl) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Salt Cure
- Recover
- Protect

If you've seen my other teams than you've seen this set before as its the only Garganacl set I've used other than the one for the team I made and posted on here. I've won entire games with just Garganacl stall. I go with this set cause stealth rock and sturdy pair well, plus tera ghost helps with fighting types which there are a lot of.

TMNT (Torkoal) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Drought
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Solar Beam
- Sludge Bomb

This is my Sun setter and yes I went with an attacking Torkoal. If this is your first time just know I've done weirder picks. I didn't see a point in making it a support mon since i already have two of those so i went with a special attacker. This thing does get good coverage with earth power, solar beam, and sludge bomb so it can be pretty useful in battle. This one is weird, but not the weirdest.

Decay (Dragalge) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Adaptability
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Scald
- Sludge Wave
- Thunderbolt

This one is by far the weirdest pick yet it holds the team together surprisingly well. Adaptability helps dragon pulse and sludge wave be boosted automatically with STAB on top. Thunderbolt for coverage and scald for the ground types like Landorou-T and Great Tusk.

I've noticed this team struggles against dark or steel types so any help with that would be great. If you see any other areas where I need help please let me know and offer changes to help.

I will give this a rate.

Firstly the elephant in the room.. :trevenant: is unviable in ou it fails to get any reliable entry points its not able to check grounds like :gliscor: and :great tusk: due to knock and it’s also just to slow.

2. A :kingambit: with assault vest is not doing any sweeping. Running assault vest means you don’t get the passive healing of leftovers, the power of black glasses, or utility of lum berry. Most importantly you can’t run swords dance which makes it threatening in the first place.

3. Choice specs :torkoal: is not doing anything fancy in ou let alone in TrickRoom. It’s only for sun setting.

4. :dragalge: is also unviable you fail to be a proper water resist and check to things like :primarina: especially when you are constantly taking spikes why not just use :slowking galar:?

Lastly, I think :garganacl: is the only viable set on this team. I would go for a balance team of you are trying to build with it. At the moment I highly suggest you utilizing The ou samples and Viability rankings best of luck to you
