Hello everyone, this is my pixelmon Team that I have been using in competitive pixelmon tourneys. The pixelmon meta game is very similar to Nat Dex OU, as you can only use pokemon allowed in Nat Dex OU, however you cannot use any legendaries or mythical pokemon, and due to pixelmon bugging out, the move teleport does not work. Most pixelmon players, from my experience, use some gimmicky tactics and like to run lots of coverage moves on their pokemon. Other than that, everything else is the same.

Team Building Process

I started with Slowbro and Blissey because of how powerful the Slowbliss core is. Even without teleport, with legendaries gone, I think Slowbliss is still a very powerful core.

Slowbro and Blissey still have some counters so I added on Mega Scizor next to solidify the core, dealing with Slowbliss' common counters. Slowbro also synergizes very well with Mega Scizor, as it can deal with fire types.

I threw on Rillaboom and Cinderace, creating a fire, water, grass core with Slowbro and Rillaboom and Cinderace have great synergy with Mega Scizor.

Finally I needed a defogger and stall breaker. Gliscor could do both while working great with my other five pokemon.
Team Breakdown

Slowbro @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Scald
- Thunder Wave
- Slack Off
- Future Sight
Everybody knows this monster, shrugs off every psychical attack and can easily regen off the damage. The set is kind of weird, but again Teleport is broken in Pixelmon so I replaced it with Thunder Wave. The main set that people use in pixelmon that most people use is actually Slack Off, Scald, Psychic, Icebeam, which really suprised me when I first heard about it. So future sight Slowbro is niche in pixelmon meaning I do get the element of suprise when I use it. Slowbro goes well with Cinderace and Mega Scizor, as future sight can deny Toxapex from switching in while Cinderace and Mega Scizor deals with Rillaboom. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple enemy Cinderace, and Mega Medicham(a super common mega in pixelmon). Scald is Slowbro's main STAB, fishing for burns while dealing chip. Slack off is just instant quick recovery. Slowbro does fear Mega Medicham with Thunder Punch though because if predicted, Mega Medicham can catch Slowbro on the switch and 2OHKO Slowbro with Thunder Punch. If that does happen, I switch Rillaboom into Medicham's Thunder Punch, healing Slowbro with regen and threatening a OHKO with Grassy Glide.
Damage Calcs
252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Thunder Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 184-218 (46.7 - 55.3%) -- 71.1% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Slowbro Future Sight vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Medicham: 163-193 (62.4 - 73.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Slowbro Future Sight vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 192-228 (63.1 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Cinderace: 218-260 (72.4 - 86.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Blissey (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
Blissey the SpDef pink blob sponge, works so well with Slowbro, as Slowbro covers fighting types and psychical pokemon. Again no teleport but this set is pretty gen 7. Soft Boiled gives easy recovery, Seismic Toss dishes out damage, Stealth Rocks for hazards, and Thunder Wave to bait in Mega Medicham or Lopunny and crippling it. Blissey is just a wall I know I can fall back on.

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Roost
- Swords Dance
Mega Scizor, the star of the team, the offensive pivot and late game sweeper. You probably notice the weird EV spread. I'm running Adamant 252 Atk because I don't want to waste my mega on a support pokemon. 252 Atk and Adamant lets its U-Turns deal a huge amount of chip, wearing down the opponents pokemon, while keeping momentum and while staying healthy with Roost, for an end game sweep. Swords Dance can be used to boost Scizor's attack to above 800 and let it destroy every pokemon(that has already been chipped down by its 252 Atk Adamant U Turns) with Bullet Punch. Mega Scizor also can be switched into a variety of pokemon and then clicking U Turn for either a KO or a huge boost in momentum. Mega Scizor is also not a bad psychical wall, as it can deal with Mimikyu.

Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
- Wood Hammer
- U-turn
I love Rillaboom. Rillaboom can dish out so much damage, threaten so many things and can utilize Knock Off to help it's teammates. Grassy Glide is its main STAB, Wood Hammer to break through walls, Knock Off for early game utility and U Turn for momentum. Rillaboom can threaten Slowbro and U Turn into it, dealing a good 45% if Slowbro stays in. Rillaboom is also a great revenge killer with +1 Priority Grassy Glide and can clean almost any opposing pokemon that is under 50% that has been chipped down by Mega Scizor.

Cinderace @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Libero
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Gunk Shot
Cinderace is amazing. Libero + Gunkshot lets it smack Clefable, Pyroball lets it run as a normal fire type, HJK a great move to just spam, and of course U-Turn to keep momentum. Cinderace helps deal with Ferrothorn and Clefable, two pokemon that counter my team very well. Cinderace patches up holes in the team while providing another offensive pivot to chip down the opponent.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Toxic
- Earthquake
Gliscor stands out in this team but it has such an important role. Gliscor can safely deal with Mega Mawille and Mega Sableye, but most importantly it can deal with Mandibuzz and other opponent's walls. I am using Defog because I need a defogger, Roost to heal off damage and outstall walls, Toxic to cripple Slowbro, Mega Sableye, and Mandibuzz, and Earthquake as my STAB. Mega Sableye would be such a big problem because of its Will O Wisps. Gliscor can Toxic Non-Mega Sableye on the switch or if it is already mega, just PP stall it. Not the best solution, but it works. 252 HP/252Def+ build compliments Gliscor's Roost/Defog/Toxic/Earthquake set very well.
Threat List

Rotom Wash will Will O Wisp + Volt Switch can threaten almost my entire team. My only counter would be just seismic tossing it to death with Blissey and keeping offensive pressure up to deny a free switch for Rotom Wash to come in.

Crawdaunt is just so scary. My only way of facing it is to keep constant pressure up with Mega Scizor + Cinderace + Rillaboom and if that fails, try to land a Thunder Wave with Blissey onto the Crawdaunt and then win using hax.
