Comedic genius Seth Rogan's latest bit, and he is really just continuing to establish himself as the king of comedy right now. If you didn't see Knocked Up or Superbad go see them now!

But this is about Pineapple Express, a stoner violence movie at its core that will keep you in hysterics the whole time. This really was the first movie in a long time where I felt both intense because of the action but also laughing hysterically as people are dying all over the place, or as there is a major car chase going down.

It is not the funniest movie ever, but it is definitely consistently funny. The plot is also decent enough (and at the very least original). The action scenes are not the special effects ridden hollywood scenes you might find in The Dark Knight, but they dont need to be. It is plenty entertaining enough.

Seth Rogan was god as usual, and despite skepticism James Franco was great too.

I have said enough though, please comment!

this one was pretty funny indeed. There weren't any really sappy parts that weren't followed up with comedy and the action was not over-done or under-done. Highly recommended by me

Pineapple Express is what it is. That's probably the best thing I can say about this movie. It's a stoner comedy with action scenes. It's pretty straightforward and doesn't require a lot of thinking on the viewing end. As long as you're not expecting this to be the greatest movie of all time, you'll enjoy it. I'll see pretty much anything Seth Rogan is in these days and James Franco was actually funny as well. They complemented each other well. I recommend that anyone who likes Seth Rogan's kind of humor to go see this.

Aamto was saying on irc he was afraid he wasnt high enough to see and enjoy this movie heh.

Anyway really funny movie that had me laughing and Franco completely stole the move for me. He really is awesome.

I didn't know anything about this movie other than "it's Seth Rogan and a bunch of weed smoking" when I walked in the theater. I was surprised at the amount of violence and whatnot, but I guess I was thinking something more goofy and light.

still a great stoner movie (and I wasn't high when I saw it...this time), and the thing that I like about the violence is that it's not glamourized or anything; when these people get hurt, you really get the feeling that that shit HURT. I'd give it a 3.5/5.
