[SET COMMENTS]
Great Tusk's gargantuan physical bulk and access to valuable utility moves make it a valuable defensive presence in the metagame, especially since it is the best user of Rapid Spin and one of the few viable forms of entry hazard control. Body Press, when coupled with maximum Defense investment, deals consistent damage to Corviknight, while Ice Spinner can be used to hit Flying-type switch-ins like both Zapdos formes and Dragonite. Knock Off debilitates switch-ins like Corviknight and Zapdos by removing their Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots, respectively. Alternatively, Great Tusk can use Stealth Rock if none of its teammates are capable of setting it. Bulk Up can also be considered to increase Great Tusk's offensive presence, but is typically less preferred than other utility options. Scrappy notably prevents Ghost-types like Gholdengo and Pecharunt from spinblocking Great Tusk. Alternatively, Regenerator provides Great Tusk with reliable recovery it otherwise lacks, while Fluffy allows it to better check attackers such as Roaring Moon and allows a teammate like Swampert to use Regenerator instead. Heavy-Duty Boots ensures Great Tusk can more reliably remove entry hazards by avoiding chip damage from them, while Leftovers provides recovery for non-Regenerator sets, and Rocky Helmet can be used to punish attackers that make contact. Offensive Pokemon that appreciate entry hazards off the field such as Azelf and Chien-Pao pair well with Great Tusk's Rapid Spin support. Due to its poor special bulk, Great Tusk appreciates specially bulky Pokemon, such as Heatran, Empoleon, and if not using Regenerator, RegenVest Pokemon such as Manaphy and Swampert. Certain physical wallbreakers such as Chien-Pao and Galarian Zapdos are significant threats to Great Tusk, so it appreciates a secondary physical wall capable of checking these Pokemon such as Corviknight or Skarmory.

Great Tusk's gargantuan physical bulk and access to valuable utility moves make it a valuable defensive presence in the metagame, especially since it is the best user of Rapid Spin and one of the few viable forms of hazard control. Knock Off can harm harm is a pretty strong word and can be misleading, a better word would be cripples switchins like Corviknight by removing their Leftovers or Heavy-Duty Boots. Alternatively, Great Tusk can use Stealth Rock if none of its teammates are capable of setting it. Body Press is a reliable secondary STAB move when coupled with maximum Defense investment, qin particular dealing consistent damage to Corviknight, while Ice Spinner can be used to hit Flying-type switchins like both Zapdos formes. Bulk Up can also be considered to increase Great Tusk's offensive presence. Regenerator is critical for providing Great Tusk with reliable recovery it otherwise lacks. Alternatively, Fluffy allows Great Tusk to better check attackers using contact moves such as Roaring Moon, and Scrappy prevents Ghost-types like Gholdengo and Pecharunt from spinblocking Great Tusk and negates Intimidate's effect; these abilities also allow for a teammate like Swampert to use Regenerator. Heavy-Duty Boots help ensure Great Tusk can more reliably remove entry hazards by avoiding Spikes damage, while Leftovers can provide some recovery and Rocky Helmet can be used to further punish attackers that make contact. Offensive pokemon which appreciate entry hazards off the field such as Azelf and Chien-Pao appreciate Great Tusk's Rapid Spin support. Due to its poor special bulk, Great Tusk appreciates being paired with specially bulky pokemon, such as Deoxys-Defense PhysDef Deoxys-Defense tends to not be very specially bulky, a better mention would be Empoleon, Heatran, and if not using Regenerator, RegenVest pPokemon such as Manaphy or Swampert. mention that strong wallbreakers that abuse tusk's typing like Gapdos and Chien-Pao makes it appreciate a secondary physical wall like Corv and Skarmory

Knock Off cripples switch-(add)ins like Corviknight and Zapdos by removing their Leftovers or Heavy-Duty Boots, respectively. Alternatively, Great Tusk can use Stealth Rock if none of its teammates are capable of setting it. Scrappy notably prevents Ghost-types like Gholdengo and Pecharunt from spinblocking Great Tusk.(add) and negates Intimidate's effect. (dex info that's not really relevant to a defensive set) Alternatively, Regenerator provides Great Tusk with reliable recovery it otherwise lacks, while Fluffy allows Great Tusk to better check attackers using contact moves such as Roaring Moon and allows for a teammate like Swampert to use Regenerator instead. Heavy-Duty Boots help ensures that Great Tusk can more reliably remove entry hazards by avoiding chip Spikes damage from them, while Leftovers can provide some recovery and Rocky Helmet can be used to further punish attackers that make contact. (maybe rewrite this to instead state that lefties is your only recovery on non regen? otherwise it's just dex info fluff) Offensive Pokemon which appreciate entry hazards off the field such as Azelf and Chien-Pao pair well withappreciate Great Tusk's Rapid Spin support. Certain physical wallbreakers such as Chien-Pao and Zapdos-Galar are significant threats tocan bypass Great Tusk,(add) thanks to their typings, so it appreciates a secondary physical wall capable of checking these Pokemon such as Corviknight or Skarmory.
