Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Weather Ball
- Wide Guard

Make sure to pack your rain coat because the forecast calls for more than a Drizzle! As the premier rain setter in the Doubles OU metagame, Pelipper enables a dynamic weather archetype with plenty of powerful Pokemon to choose from to support it. Pelipper can throw off perfectly accurate STAB Hurricanes in rain, decimating Grass-type threats like Rillaboom and Sinistcha. Weather Ball threatens to OHKO Landorus. Wide Guard blocks spread attacks like Bleakwind Storm and Icy Wind, allowing teammates such as Landorus and Ogerpon-W to use their boosted STAB attacks with relative safety as well as supporting Rillaboom defensively. Tera Ghost grants Pelipper an immunity to Fake Out, which is especially useful against Incineroar and Rillaboom to preserve its Focus Sash. Rain teams offer plenty of partners for Pelipper, such as Archaludon and Ogerpon-W, with Archaludon notably being able to capitalize on rain with strong one-turn Electro Shots. Rain teams can struggle against Alolan Ninetales, which combats rain with its snow, and bulky Electric-types like Iron Hands and Raging Bolt, making Archaludon and Landorus excellent options, since they handle these threats well and synergize with Pelipper effectively.

Make sure to pack your rain coat because the forecast calls for more than a Drizzle! As the premier rain setter in the Doubles OU metagame, Pelipper enables a dynamic weather archetype with plenty of powerful Pokemon to choose from to overwhelm the opponent. Pelipper can throw off perfectly accurate Hurricane's in rain, dishing out massive damage to Grass-type threats like Rillaboom and Sinistcha. this is where there should be a mention of flying typing + ability to ohko landoi with weather ball being a big deal. Wide Guard prevents spread attacks like Bleakwind Strom, Hyper Voice, and Icy Wind from activating, allowing teammates such as Ogerpon-W and Walking Wake walking wake isn't really used as a rain pokemon, you can mention rillaboom as another common guy that doesnt like to eat bleakwinds to use their boosted STAB attacks with relative safety. Tera Ghost grants Pelipper an immunity to Fake Out, which is especially useful against Rillaboom to preserve its Focus Sash while attacking or using Wide Guard as needed. Rain has plenty of options to choose from to partner with Pelipper, such as Archaludon, Ogerpon-W, and Raging Bolt, raging bolt isn't really a rain specific pokemon, it isn't running thunder or anything. archaludon needs to be played up as a partner, having instant access to electro shot is one of the biggest reasons to use pelipper and peli fends off lando for archa in return. speaking of landoi, that would be a better mention than raging bolt as rain gives it 100% accurate spread sandsear storm all of whom can capitalize on rain being active to threaten OHKO's into most of the metagame. Problematic Pokemon for rain include Alolan Ninetales, which establishes snow and can set up Aurora Veil to defend against the offensive nature of rain teams, and Farigiraf, a common Trick Room setter that uses rain's fast-paced nature against it farigiraf is not a great mention. rain typically has enough bulky pieces that it doesn't mind trick room going up, especially from farigiraf teams where pelipper is probably faster in tr than half the members. you can just mention bulky electrics (iron hands and raging bolt) and present lando-i and archaludon as options to get past these..

let me know when this is implemented

Heyo, implemented the best I could see fit - character count is a bit high but I'll let GP review that if you're okay with the changes

definitely too long I'm afraid, needs to be at max 1050-1080, so it's better to cut some stuff down before sending it to GP
