Introduction
Hi everyone! A little background, in the last two weeks I have been destroyed by everyone in the SV Ladder and OLT quals, so I wanted to feel myself like a strong player and went laddering in Gen 8. At first i was playing Victini Offense team and hit #6, but after a couple of bad loses, I decided to change the team and create this.
Proof of peak
Team Description
Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
This is the most common Chansey build in SS OU with rocks and toxic.
I chose Chansey over Blissey because Chancey is a more versatile pokemon, capable of walling Scarf Lele Psyshock and many physical threats including.
Save your eviolite and remove possible hazards on the field and you will be immortal.
Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Body Press
- Iron Defense
- Defog
- Roost
Corviknight is your only hazards cleaner and also the main physical check with IronPress build.
Always try to go Corv and PP Stalling your opponent with Pressure if possible, leftovers are very helpful in this.
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Knock Off
- Moonblast
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
In most battles, Clefable will be your main way to gain an advantage.
Thanks to Magic Guard, Clefable can beat Ferrothorn 1v1, therefore, you dont need to spend a lot of resources for this.
It is very reliable Knock Off user, which is also the second rocks in the team.
Clefable role is Knock Off/Status Moves absorber, but she can also act as Dragapult check.
Toxapex @ Shed Shell
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Toxic Spikes
- Scald
- Recover
- Knock Off
Not a single stall team without this star.
First of all, I want to say that you need a Shed Shell for a comfortable MU against Heatran, which is a serious threat to any stall team with Magma Storm/Taunt build.
And so, if your opponent has Heatran, you are not allowed to get Knocked. Toxapex is your is your only chance to beat Heatran, use some scalds, switch to Chansey and now you chilling.
In SS Ou, many teams are vulnerable to T-Spikes, so Im using this.
Another Knock Off user and a good SPD wall for a few scary mons like Trick Blacephalon.
Quagsire @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Recover
Since Toxapex does not have Haze in this team, you need a Unaware Quagsire to beat SD/DD users like Garchomp, Weavile, Dragonite and etc
Always remember that this Pokemon has no resistance to status moves and if your opponent has a Bulky Garchomp/Melmetal do not risk getting poisoned.
Amoonguss @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Clear Smog
- Foul Play
The last choice was Amoonguss, as the second regenerator in the team, another physical check with Clear Smog and Foul Play, and some cheap damage from Rocky Helmet.
This is the best answer to mons like Urshifu, Tapu Koko and etc.

Suicune
Due to its features, this pokemon is very annoying, but it is not invincible.
You just need to PP Stalling with Chansey/Pex, if Suicune does not have Protect you can spam Seismic Toss on Chansey.
Tapu Lele
This is probably the worst matchup for my team, due to Future Sight mons weakness.
If it is Scarf, you can wall any move with Chansey. If Specs try to poison it and wall with Corv/Chansey switch-ins.
Screens Mew variant for good MU vs Lele - Screens Mew Stall
