Good morning,

I am a long time battler but serial team-copier who with the dawn of a new age of my favorite pokemon gliscor is finally trying to learn how to build teams.

This first team built was designed around the defensive synergy between Gliscor and Empoleon and sorta as a celebration of both finally being back in the game. That being said the only pokemon im super attached to keeping on is Gliscor, which I figure shouldn't be much of a problem.

Without further ado, the team-

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Spikes
- Toxic

Gliscor does Gliscor things. It is a nasty wall aiming to spread as much passive damage as possible (and sometimes take its own ko's.) I was running uturn over protect but i was not a huge fan of the lost longevity from that. Tera water is for general goodstuff purposes, resists ice and water which sre generally things you tera against most often.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Competitive
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Surf

Empoleon comes in to support the hazard-stacky

Now for closing notes.

The team struggles with scary water types, gholdengo, hatterene (with setup.) Additionally my tera types are haphazard. Im less than not sure they're optimal, they were mostly guesswork or what was on the smogondex page.
