Qualification | Signups | Championships

After almost a year and 6 tournaments, with more than 1000 unique signups, 16 players per generation have qualified to compete in the Past Gen Circuit Championships to determine the winners of their respective Circuit and claim the reward of one of the six Old Gen Ribbons

. Get ready for some high level gameplay, because all of the participants have shown that they can claim the title as the best no-one ever was.

Specific Rules:
  • These are Standard RBY, GSC, ADV, DPP, BW and ORAS OU tournaments respectively!
  • Matches are to be played on PS, either the main or the smogtours server
  • All rounds will be a best of three in this single elimination tournament, and you are free to switch teams during your series
  • The tier is LOCKED as of this post. Any changes to any of the tiers will not affect this tournament
  • All matches must have their replays recorded
Standard Rules and Clauses:
  • Sleep Clause Mod: Limit one foe put to sleep
  • Freeze Clause Mod: Limit one foe frozen
  • Species Clause: Limit one of each Pokémon
  • OHKO Clause: OHKO moves are banned
  • Evasion Moves Clause: Evasion moves are banned
  • HP Percentage Mod: HP is shown in percentages
  • Sleep Clause Mod: Limit one foe put to sleep

  • Species Clause: Limit one of each Pokémon
  • OHKO Clause: OHKO moves are banned
  • Evasion Moves Clause: Evasion moves are banned

  • Profile posts are the main thing that matters for activity. Read this scheduling guide.
  • tl;dr Use profile posts to schedule with your opponent to make it easier for me to track activity calls when needed. If you use other methods to contact your opponent outside of profile posts, then post in this thread confirming you're in contact with your opponent; otherwise, it's not necessary. Extensions for those with time conflicts will only be given when proof is provided of scheduling with their opponent in the beginning of the round (first 2-3 days). Do not schedule last minute expecting to be compensated in case of timezone conflicts or be given an activity win over your opponent. No excuses!

If I made a mistake in any of the pairings, please tell me as soon as possible. Also try to get the tiebreaker games done as fast as you can, otherwise it can hold up the tour. I'll update the matchups when results are posted and I'll retag the remaining players after every round deadline to be sure that no-one forgets about it!​
 
After talking to ABR, I have decided to extend the tiebreakers (so round 1 for dpp and both rounds for GSC) to 31st December 06:00am EST and Round 1 to 06:00am EST on the 7th January. This is done because the current deadlines are too strict, especially in the holiday season where people want to spend their time with family and friends. All subsequent rounds are thereby also extended with 1 full week!

I am sorry for being like that Croo but I had a rough day today. But it is human that you have your mad few minutes after the game.
Only because I get mad during the game and a bit after does not mean that I am only blaming others for my mistakes or that I am not reflective about my plays. I am fully aware of my mistakes. However I am an emotional person and that won't change. Not everyone is a calm headed robot like you, ABR. And I think you should probably start respecting that not everyone is like you.
