MEGA MAWILE HAZARD STACK BALANCE OFFENSE
By Pinkacross (A.K.A. Blargie)

This is a very solid team with virtually no weaknesses. It does a great job on the ladder, as well as in tournies. Mawile works as a great stallbreaker, making it so that stall generally loses to this team. If anyone wants to copy and use this team, feel free! The more the merrier!
SET EXPLANATION:

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 24 SpD / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
Explanation:This is likely the best pokemon in all of OU. It is great for controlling attack sweeps, as well as Mega Lopunny and other physical attackers. U-turn is a great momentum move, HP ice hits other Landorus as well as Zygarde and Garchomp. Earthquake is Landorus's main stab move, and is therefore necessary. Stealth Rocks is a completely needed move, as it helps me wear down foes such as Mega Charizard-Y that would otherwise threaten both Greninja, Mawile, and Gengar. This also makes Volcarona come into range from Latios's Draco Meteor. This is definitely a valuable player on my team. Landorus is my rocker, and defensive pivot.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Thunder Wave
Explanation: Ferrothorn works with Landorus to complete the hazard stack core. Ferrothorn sets up spikes, while Landorus sets up rocks. Ferrothorn is also a good staple for dealing with Tapu Fini, Tapu Koko, and Tapu Bulu. It can take many hits that Landorus cannot, and vice-versa. Thunder Wave is good for making sure pokemon like Mega Charizard-X, Gyarados, Dragonite, and Volcarona from using Ferrothorn as set up fodder. Power Whip allows Ferrothorn to not simply be stumped by a Taunt from Tapu Fini, Tapu Koko, or Greninja. Finally, Leech Seed is a very stable move that punishes any pokemon switching in to Ferrothorn. Ferrothorn is my spikes setter and support wall.

Greninja-Ash (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Hydro Pump
- U-turn
- Water Shuriken
Explanation: This is arguably the best spikes abuser in the tier. Once it has Ash form up, it has an astounding 153 special attack, making specs dark pulse beat Toxapex one on one. Hydro Pump is Greninja's most powerful stab move other than Hydro Cannon, which I will not use for obvious reasons. U-turn helps keep momentum, as well as helping to decide on difficult predictions. Finally, Water Shurriken is A 60 BP stab move, and it is very helpful when cleaning fast pokemon, such as Mega Alakazam and quiver danced Volcarona. Greninja is my fast sweeper and priority support.

Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Earthquake
- Trick
Explanation: This is my speed control for the team. It's Draco Meteor is one of the most powerful moves in the game, allowing it to OHKO Kyurem-Black, Keldeo, and some forms of Landorus. Psyshock helps deal with Toxapex, and it is often a nice cleaning move for late-game sweeps. Defog helps me control Sticky Web teams, and other heavy hazard stack teams. Trick is most helpful when facing defensive Celesteela, Chansey, and Skarmory. Earthquake 2HKOs Heatran on the switch, doing about 70%. Latios acts as my speed control. Let me know if I should use Earthquake in place for Trick or Defog.

Gengar @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Taunt
- Focus Blast
Explanation: Gengar is a key player on this team. Since the base of this team is hazard stack, a pokemon like Gengar is super clutch. Since it is Ghost types, it's a good spinblocker, as well as taunt blocking defog. Gengar stops all forms of removal. Sludge Wave is Gengar's main stab move, at 95 BP, allowing it to KO Mega Charizard-Y after stealth rocks. This Gengar also beats Chansey one on one, as taunt almost always shuts it down. Focus Blast is a strong final move, as it helps deal with Ferrothorn, Magneton, and Tyranitar.

Mawile-Mega @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Thunder Punch
Explanation: As my mega, this is the best spikes abuser on the team. Given the right opportunity, Mawile can set up on Chansey and win against most stall teams. After once Swords Dance, Mawile can OHKO most of the OU metagame with a Sucker Punch. It can also Play Rough, and bring incoming Landorus down to low percentages, usually able to be finished off with a Sucker Punch. Thunder Punch is an incredible move on Mawile. It OHKOs Toxapex, Celesteela, and Skarmory after a single Swords Dance. This is great because these are common switch-ins to Mawile. Mawile acts as my primary spikes abuser.
TEAMBUILDING PROCESS:

I started off with a standard Hazard core of Landorus and Ferrothorn to get me both Spikes and Stealth Rocks.

I realized I needed a way to keep my Hazards on the field, so I added Gengar to act as a spinblocker and a Taunt user.

I needed some form of early removal, something I would need if I were to encounter a Sticky Webs team, or another heavy hazard stack team. I also needed speed control, as Volcarona, along with many other sweepers, simply demolishes my team.

Ash Greninja was one of the best hazard stack abusers in the tier, so I had to have it on my team. It also dealt with set up sweepers that I struggled with, such as Volcarona.

I needed a Mega, and my team currently blatantly just lost to stall. Mawile is a great spikes abuser, with a powerful sucker punch, and it levels a gun at stall of which the bullet is rarely dodged.
LADDER PEAK:
COMING SOON (UPDATE: Not coming soon, every time I get around 1500 I get haxed so hard my Ferrothorn has a 37% accurate Power Whip.)
THREATLIST:

When these things are singular, they aren't an issue. But paired, these cause a lot of trouble. My usual answers to Alakazam, such as Water Shurriken and Sucker Punch, are negated by psychic terrain. And my Alakazam answer of Latios is countered by Tapu Lele. This is not a showstopper, but it should be heavily cautioned.

This is obviously an issue. It 2HKOs Landorus with Magma Storm, walls Latios, demolishes Ferrothorn, stops Mawile, and beats Gengar with a single Magma storm. This is easily the largest issue for my team. Let me know if I should replace Latios with Garchomp!

I know, Magearna is common and it really isn't a biig threat. It has no set up opportunities outside of catching Greninja on a Dark Pulse. But, if it sets up and turns out to be Fightinium-Z, you've got an issue. Not a huge threat, but be warned.

AFTERWORD:
If anyone likes this team, feel free to use it! I am wondering if I should replace Latios with scarf Garchomp, since Gengar helps me deal with webs. Let me know what you think. Feel free to leave any advice or inform me of any success you have had with this team! Thanks for looking at my thread! :)
