Moreover, this set's approach on running bulk investment and Assault Vest significantly improves its matchup against the tier's plethora of offensive teams—which was generally how Hoopa-U is contained in the past—letting it trade against faster foes like Iron Valiant, Iron Moth, and Darkrai while checking the likes of Gholdengo and Iron Crown more comfortably. Pairing it with teammates like Zamazenta and Dragapult that have an easier time against offensive teams is still wise, however, and defensive pivots like Landorus-T and Alomomola, and Pecharunt are also appreciated to bring it in safely.
