Thanks to its great Speed, power-boosting ability in Electric Terrain, and access to both U-turn and Volt Switch, Tapu Koko functions as a great offensive pivot. It often utilizes its ability to force out slower foes like Mega Charizard Y, Alomomola, and Hisuian Samurott to safely pivot in wallbreakers that take advantage of Electric Terrain like Iron Valiant, Iron Boulder, and Iron Moth in safely via U-turn or Volt Switch. U-turn is usually favored for its consistency against Ground-types like Gliscor and Clodsire and ability to deal more chip damage to Grass-type Pokemon such as Rillaboom and Serperior; alternatively, Volt Switch has advantage in higher damage output and avoids contact punishment from Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Volcarona, but being blocked by Ground-type Pokemon makes it less reliable. Hidden Power Ice targets popular Ground-type such as Landorus-T and Gliscor and is the preferred option over Dazzling Gleam. Heavy-Duty Boots complements Tapu Koko's frequent pivoting by negating entry hazard damage, while Electrium Z lets it pick off weakened foes such as Galarian Slowking, Heatran, and Volcarona. Due to its typing and mediocre Special Attack stat, Tapu Koko struggles with bulky Ground-type Pokemon like Clodsire and Ting-Lu, as well as sturdy walls like Galarian Slowking, Garganacl, and Ferrothorn; therefore, it needs powerful teammates like Mega Medicham, Iron Valiant, and Hawlucha to break through them. Those teammates also appreciate Tapu Koko checking faster offensive threats such as Tornadus-T, pressuring walls such as Toxapex, and generating momentum for them to make use of. Tapu Koko also has great synergy with the likes of Iron Crown, Landorus-T, and Iron Moth, forming the infamous VoltTurn combo. In the case of Iron Moth and Iron Crown, Tapu Koko’s Electric Surge activates Quark Drive for them. In return, they take care of Tapu Koko’s checks such as Ferrothorn and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele.

It often utilizes its ability to force out slower foes like Mega Charizard Y, Alomomola, and Hisuian Samurott to pivot wallbreaker teammates like Iron Valiant, Iron Boulder, and Iron Crown in safely via U-turn or Volt Switch (you should mention how it activates quark drive). U-turn is usually favored for its consistency against Ground-types like Gliscor and Clodsire and has a niche in doing more chip to Grass-type Pokemon such as Rillaboom and Serprior; Volt Switch has an advantage in higher damage output and avoiding contact punishment, but the potential of being blocked by Ground-type Pokemon makes it less reliable. Dazzling Gleam as a STAB has a fairly decent neutral coverage and can hit some Ground-type Pokemon like Great Tusk, Ting-lu, and Garchomp for super effective damage, hence it is preferred to be third move; Hidden Power Ice as an alternative choice targets Ground-type Pokemon better, hitting some of the most popular Ground-type such as Landorus-T and Gliscor for 4x damage, but it is almost useless outside of the super effective foes due to its low Base Power. Heavy-Duty Boots boost boosts Tapu Koko's longevity, allowing it to pivot in and out more often throughout the game (I'd probably rephrase this into smth like "since koko pivots frequently due to its role, HDB boosts longevity..."), while Electrium Z helps by providing immediate power, enabling it to pick off weakened checks such as Galarian Slowking, Heatran, and Volcarona. Due to its typing and mediocre Special Attack stat, Tapu Koko struggles with bulky Ground-type Pokemon like Clodsire and Iron Treads, as well as sturdy walls like Blissey, Garganacl, and Ferrothorn, therefore it needs powerful teammates like Mega Medicham, Iron Crown, (crown doesn't beat treads/blissey. garg and ferro can annoy it as well. tbh even special ival isn't really a very good mention here I think, but crown and ival should definitely be mentioned in koko's ability to set terrain.) and Iron Valiant (I prefer to make it hawlucha) to break through those walls. While those teammates appreciate Tapu Koko being capable of checking faster offensive threats such as Tornadus-T, pressuring walls such as Corvknight, and generating momentum for them to take advantage of. (Again, make sure to mention its synergy with quark drive. Also a sentence on VoltTurn seems good here)

Tpunch Mmaw can be another example if you don’t like moth in safely via U-turn or Volt Switch. U-turn is usually favored for its consistency against Ground-types like Gliscor and Clodsire and has a niche in doing more chip to Grass-type Pokemon such as Rillaboom and Serperior; Volt Switch has an advantage in higher damage output and avoiding contact punishment from Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Volcarona, but the potential of being blocked by Ground-type Pokemon makes it less reliable. Hidden Power Ice can be used as an alternative to Dazzling Gleam most of the time dgleam is the alternative, for it targets some of the most popular Ground-type such as Landorus-T and Gliscor and because of this is the preferred option over Dazzling Gleam imo although dgleam is slashed it doesn’t compare to how influential hp ice is so that’s why I think that line is neccessary. Since Tapu Koko pivots frequently due to its role, Heavy-Duty-Boots boosts its longevity by being immune to entry hazards, allowing it to come in on the field more often, while Electrium Z helps by providing immediate power, enabling it to pick off weakened checks such as Galarian Slowking, Heatran, and Volcarona. Due to its typing and mediocre Special Attack stat, Tapu Koko struggles with bulky Ground-type Pokemon like Clodsire and Iron Treads Ting-Lu surely treads isn’t that relevant, as well as sturdy walls like Blissey Galarian Slowking you had the right idea, but blissey isn’t on vr and you didn’t mention Glowking as a check anywhere here, Garganacl, and Ferrothorn, therefore it needs powerful teammates like Mega Medicham, Zamazenta Iron Valiant I feel more emphasis needs to be put on how Ival is a good teammate on top of the mention earlier. Sure Zama works with Koko on some balances maybe but in an offense context I’m not too sure, and Hawlucha to break through those walls. While those teammates appreciate Tapu Koko being capable of checking faster offensive threats such as Tornadus-T, pressuring walls such as Corviknight Toxapex I’m a bit iffy on Corv because all those fightings can pressure it quite well unless Corv gets like 2 bulk ups or something like that. Pex still works because it can check ival and lucha and while not Medi it is almost impossible to check mmedi defensively anyways, and generating momentum for them to make use of. Pivot Tapu Koko also has a great synergy with the likes of Iron Crown, Landorus-T, and Iron Moth, forming the infamous VoltTurn combo. In the case of Iron Moth and Iron Crown, Tapu Koko’s Electric Surge activates Quark Drive for them. In return, They take care of Tapu Koko’s checks such as Ferrothorn and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele. I feel adding on to how they synergize with Koko works well instead of just saying they can click pivot moves together
