Kingambit is a potent late-game cleaner and wincon thanks to Supreme Overlord and Sucker Punch, which compensates for its poor Speed tier. Its remarkable defensive profile grants it multiple opportunities to wreak havoc: it soft checks and takes advantage of prominent threats like Dragapult, Meowscarada, Baxcalibur, and Gholdengo—which can be problematic for offensive teams—while forcing out defensive foes like Hatterene, Toxapex, and Slowking. Swords Dance lets Kingambit set up on these foes to clean up late-game more easily, and it can potentially wallbreak early-game if need be. Iron Head smashes through Fairy-types and Tera Fairy users like Hatterene, Scream Tail, and Skeledirge, Toxapex, Baxcalibur, and Rotom-W. Low Kick most importantly OHKOes Roaring Moon and opposing Kingambit, and it severely dents Ting-Lu and Iron Treads. Tera Dark—especially alongside Black Glasses, if running it—cranks up Kingambit's damage output for even more late-game potential. Tera Dark in particular allows Sucker Punch to OHKO Gholdengo without a boost, as well as Baxcalibur and Garchomp at +2, and it also removes Kingambit's Ground weakness for foes like Garchomp and Ting-Lu. Tera Fire flips the matchup against Volcarona, Cinderace, Iron Moth, and Focus Sash Ceruledge, as well as stopping the former two and foes like Rotom-W, Dragapult, and Tera Water Skeledirge from crippling it with a burn. Moreover, the Fighting neutrality allows Kingambit to soft check Iron Valiant and Breloom, and it can set up safely on Body Press Corviknight. Lum Berry gives Kingambit more setup opportunities in the face of status users like Rotom-W and Dragapult, especially if it can't utilize Tera Fire to block their Will-O-Wisp. A Jolly nature allows Kingambit to outspeed uninvested Great Tusk and Rotom-W, and it works well on Low Kick variants to—at worst—Speed tie and OHKO opposing Kingambit.

Kingambit fits well on offensive teams, which range from offense to hyper offense. Entry hazards from teammates like Glimmora, Meowscarada, and Garchomp are near mandatory, as they deactivate Focus Sash on foes like Greninja, Polteageist, and Ceruledge and chip down foes into Kingambit's KO range. Also, these setters tending to faint early-game helps Kingambit accumulate Supreme Overlord boosts. Wallbreakers such as Baxcalibur, Iron Moth, Dragapult, and Iron Valiant are necessary to pressure the opposition early-game, especially because they can overwhelm and individually threaten Kingambit's checks like Dondozo, Corviknight, and Great Tusk; Iron Moth in particular deals with troublesome Fairy-types if Kingambit lacks Iron Head. In return, Kingambit deals with Dragapult for Baxcalibur and Gholdengo for Iron Valiant, with Low Kick variants dealing with opposing Kingambit for Dragapult as well. Other setup sweepers like Dragonite, Roaring Moon, and Volcarona are secondary wincons in case Kingambit is unable to fully sweep, especially if it runs Swords Dance to overwhelm their shared checks like Dondozo, Corviknight, and Tera Water Garganacl and Skeledirge. Aside from rain teams weakening the Fire-type moves from Iron Moth and Dragapult, they support Kingambit with wallbreakers like Floatzel, Azumarill, and Greninja, which threaten Great Tusk and overwhelm Dondozo and Tera Water Garganacl and Skeledirge. Kingambit also takes advantage of Floatzel fainting early-game from Wave Crash recoil to gain a Supreme Overlord boost.

Kingambit is a potent late-game cleaner and wincon thanks to Supreme Overlord and Sucker Punch to compensate for its poor Speed tier. Its remarkable defensive profile grants it multiple opportunities to wreak havoc, soft checking and taking advantage of prominent threats like Dragapult, Meowscarada, Baxcalibur, and Gholdengo, the latter two of which can be problematic for offensive teams. (Would it be worth mentioning defensive Pokemon that it can take advantage of? Mainly Toxapex, Slowking, Hatterene) Swords Dance lets Kingambit clean up late-game more easily after a turn of setup against the aforementioned foes, and can potentially turn it into an early-game wallbreaker if need be. Iron Head smashes through Fairy-types like Hatterene, Scream Tail, and Tera Fairy users like Skeledirge, Toxapex, and Rotom-W. Low Kick severely dents Ting-Lu and Iron Treads and OHKOes Roaring Moon and opposing Kingambit. (Might be worth to rework this to make more emphasis on the OHKO on Kingambit and Roaring Moon since thats more important) Tera Dark alongside Black Glasses cranks up Kingambit's damage output to give it even more late-game potential; the former has the added benefit of removing its Ground weakness from foes like Garchomp and Iron Treads (I would mention Ting-Lu here instead since its more relevant). Tera Fire flips the matchup against Volcarona, Cinderace, and Iron Moth, as well as preventing the former two and foes like Rotom-W, Dragapult, and Tera Water Skeledirge from crippling it with a burn. Moreover, the Fighting neutrality allows Kingambit to soft check Iron Valiant and Breloom and set up safely on Body Press Corviknight. Lum Berry gives Kingambit more setup opportunities in the face of status users like Rotom-W and Dragapult, especially if it can't Terastallize into the Fire typing to block their Will-O-Wisp. A Jolly nature allows Kingambit to outspeed uninvested Great Tusk and Rotom-W, and it works will with Low Kick variants to—at worst—Speed tie and OHKO opposing Kingambit.

Kingambit fits well on offensively-inclined teams, ranging from offense to hyper offense. Entry hazards from teammates like Glimmora, Meowscarada, and Garchomp are near-mandatory, as they break Focus Sash from foes like Greninja, Polteageist, and Ceruledge and chip down foes into Kingambit's KO range. Their tendency to faint early-game is also beneficial to accumulate Kingambit's Supreme Overlord boosts. Wallbreakers such as Baxcalibur, Iron Moth, Dragapult, and Iron Valiant are necessary to pressure the opposition early-game, especially because they can overwhelm and threaten Kingambit's checks like Dondozo, Corviknight, and Great Tusk; Iron Moth in particular deals with troublesome Fairy-types if Kingambit lacks Iron Head. Aside from weakening the Fire-type moves from Iron Moth and Dragapult, Kingambit can fit on rain teams to team up with wallbreakers like Floatzel, Azumarill, and Walking Wake (Could mention/add Greninja instead since it threatens these walls a bit harder than Walking Wake) that threaten Great Tusk and overhwhelm Dondozo and Tera Water Garganacl and Skeledirge; Kingambit also takes advantage of Floatzel fainting early-game from Wave Crash recoil to gain Supreme Overlord boosts.

Kingambit is a potent late-game cleaner and wincon thanks to Supreme Overlord and Sucker Punch to compensate for its poor Speed tier. Its remarkable defensive profile grants it multiple opportunities to wreak havoc, soft checking and taking advantage of prominent threats like Dragapult, Meowscarada, Baxcalibur, and Gholdengo—the latter two of which can be problematic for offensive teams—and threatening out defensive foes like Hatterene, Toxapex, and Slowking. All 4 of these are problematic for offensive teams so you don't need to specify the latter two. Swords Dance lets Kingambit clean up late-game more easily after a turn of setup against the aforementioned foes, and can potentially turn it into an early-game wallbreaker if need be. Iron Head smashes through Fairy-types like Hatterene, Scream Tail, and Tera Fairy users like Skeledirge, Toxapex, and Rotom-W. Could mention Baxcalibur here. Low Kick severely dents Ting-Lu and Iron Treads and most importantly OHKOes Roaring Moon and opposing Kingambit. Tera Dark alongside Black Glasses cranks up Kingambit's damage output to give it even more late-game potential; the former has the added benefit of removing its Ground weakness from foes like Garchomp and Ting-Lu. Worth mentioning that tera dark lets it ohko gholdengo, and at +2 ohkoes baxcalibur and garchomp. Tera Fire flips the matchup against Volcarona, Cinderace, and Iron Moth, as well as preventing the former two and foes like Rotom-W, Dragapult, and Tera Water Skeledirge from crippling it with a burn. Lum Berry gives Kingambit more setup opportunities in the face of status users like Rotom-W and Dragapult, especially if it can't Terastallize into the Fire typing to block their Will-O-Wisp. Also helps vs Sash ceruledge which threatens w CC or a powerful bitter blade. A Jolly nature allows Kingambit to outspeed uninvested Great Tusk and Rotom-W, and it works will well with Low Kick variants to—at worst—Speed tie and OHKO opposing Kingambit.
