Obscure card game shilling time :P(Future Card Buddyfight)

If I break any rules, I apologize. I'm not familiar with the UI enough.
Also if this in the wrong place, please move it.
Ahem..... I posted a little essay on another Forum(cough Smashboards) so to save time I'll copy paste it here(and maybe add a few details)

Hmm, the best way I can describe it is that it's pretty much(design wise, anyway) a mix of Yugioh and MTG.
What makes it different from both, however, is it's unique mechanics.
For example, you have the Flags,

which unlike Magic's Colors or Yugiohs Types, literally categorize cards into one "World" and you can only use cards from the world your Flag is (I.E only Hero World Cards can be used if you're using Hero World)
There are also "Attribute Flags" which instead of forcing you to run specific world cards, name an attribute instead.

You also have the Buddy Monster, which is one monster you pick from your deck at the start of the game.
If you have another copy of said card in your hand, you can "Buddy Call" where you take the copy you have in your hand, put it in the Buddy Zone in a "Rested" state(sideways), and take the copy that was already in the Buddy Zone, and put that in any Monster Zone. Then, you can gain 1 life.
Unless you have a way to "Unrest" the copy in the Buddy Zone, Buddy Calling is a pseudo-once-per-game ability.
You also have Gauge, which are cards from your deck that are put there and used to pay costs. You can, at the start of your turn, put a card from you hand into the gauge, and draw another(something no other game has done before)
And unlike Magic's Lands, once you use a gauge card, it gets sent to the Drop Zone. Meaning it's not a resource that keeps on getting bigger and bigger each turn, but quite literally a manageable resource.

Personally? It's super fun, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Yugioh-style gameplay, but faster(games can end turn 2 with minimal setup)
Also, for anyone curious, here's what 1 side of the board looks like:

Quick edit: goddammit I knew I would mess something up. Can a mod move this to a more appropriate place please?

Guessing this was moved? It's in the right place now as far as i can tell

I'm an avid mtg player, and I know a big thing with card is availability of other players. Is there a commonly used way to play online, official or otherwise?

As far as I'm aware, not really. There are a few sims here and there, but they are super clunky, and barely anyone plays em.
If you wanna learn the rules, thou, Watching the obligatory anime of the same name can get ya started(just google Buddyfight on Youtube)

Although, as an MTG player myself... I can definitely say I like this game more than MTG to a degree. This is coming from a guy who's playgroup is pretty much Commander with every single deck being loops.

On the topic of moved, the reason I edited it was because I was thinking this place was more so a "general" talk, not a quote unquote "Debate Hall" of sorts

The board where this thread would previously have gone was recently merged into this.

Finding a playgroup for this game outside Japan has got to be tough.

Not really, honestly. The hard part so far is just getting your hands on a couple decks.
Because of where I live(no stores sell the damn cards anywhere) I pretty much have to have everything shipped here, and then just get people at my school interested in it.

It does have a niche presence in the US(pretty sure some big name stores like Walmart do and can stock it, but not where I live) but other than that, ho boy, decks can get super expensive.

An average "Budget" deck(not including shipping, taxes, or staple cards) can be made for under $5, but by doing so you pretty much give up any chance of said deck being good, and moreso a core to build upon.

edit: adding this part on to this post because I dunno if this Forum has a "no double posting" rule, so I'll just er on the side of caution.
Although, while I have the time, may as well link ya to one of the "Cut" fights(so almost no spoilers) just so ya can get a feel for how the game plays:
