Black is the ultimate - White seems it would get dirty to quickly.

The new Red/Black one is pretty awesome-looking though.
 
It should be noted, however, that black DS Lite's show off fingerprints much easier than the other colors—I know this from experience. Still, black is a cool color.
 
The new Red/Black version is matte instead of glossy so it doesn't fingerprint as bad.

If you're a big spender and aren't worried about showing off your Pokemon fanhood THIS is a must have, especially if you haven't bought the Pokemon games (hell you could sell the extras). This will be worth money for a long time since its run is limited, the Japanese version of this still sells for about $300 on eBay. The new Zelda bundle is also very cool looking.
 
WHITE POWER...for DS. I got a white DS cause the store was out of black and only had pink. Well, anyways, I like the way the white looks. It's sexy.
 
Real men get pink.

Really though, you should decide if you want Gold, Black, Black Red, White, Pink, some more.
 
I wish I had a black one, but mine is white.

Yep. I love Black electronics, but fingerprints are annoying.

I have the white DS lite now. There's a lot of dirt on the sides, which sucks.

Bought the Legend of Zelda GOLDDDDD DS Lite today and I want to open it so badly.. but I have to wait until I sell the old white DS lite :p

I want black though, but gold looks reasonably amazing <3
 
Dang i want that Gold DS... But i have Zelda PH already... Maybe i could get just the DS then sell PH on Ebay or something...
 
I still have the original DS (back in 2004 when I got it for Christmas), and it's in ok condition, but my L button does not work anymore. I've considered getting a DS Lite, but I always know that as soon as I decide to buy one, nintendo will come out with a cooler color. That being said, I'm waiting for a green one! Although, if I had to buy one right now, I'd get the Gold one.

Exactly what I was going to say. I seem to spend as much time rubbing the prints off my black DS as I do actually playing it!
 
Gold+Triforce= Godly, and on that note I have the black but damn I wish I could get the gold one, I don't have PH yet, but I do have the Black DSL and it is pretty sweet, although I have one dead pixel which really doesn't hurt that much.

Onyx (Black) looks sweet. Gonna get one when I get a job soon... (Still using a silver block DS).

The Gold LoZ one... Doesn't seem practical to carry:
