Other Need Help w/ FU Sun Team

I really enjoyed playing around with weather in NU, but I never got around to PU and now here I am in FU. My team is semi-successful, but it needs some changes to be really powerful.

Team Magma (Graveler) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Sunny Day
- Explosion

I chose this mon because it is a good lead in most battles and reliably sets up sun at the very least. Unfortunately, I don't get many chances to much else besides sucker punch b/c of its godawful speed. But in the cases, when I can explode it is so worth it for the attack evs. This mon also gets the nice benefit of weakened water attacks in the sun.

Such a Pest (Volbeat) (M) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sunny Day
- Thunder Wave
- U-turn
- Encore

I once thought Volbeat was complete trash, but its prankster ability gives it some serious potential. Ofc prankster sun is super useful, but Encore is the best move this mon gets. Every setup mon like Whiscash and Seviper just switch right in and start getting greedy. I didn't really need any other moves, so I threw on t-wave to cripple some things and didn't use Tailwind since my team didn't really benefit from that.

Oh Dear (Sawsbuck) (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 100 HP / 252 Atk / 20 SpD / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Jump Kick
- Double-Edge
- Horn Leech

Sawsbuck is quite the potent sun sweeper with SD and Chlorophyll giving it the toys it always wanted. The damage output from this mon is always great, despite his semi-lacking coverage. Anyways, I didn't know what I wanted for this mon to outspeed, but in Sun it hits 390 which outspeeds most of the non-scarfed tier.

>Cacturne (Maractus) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Growth
- Giga Drain
- Solar Beam
- Hyper Voice

Poor old Maractus is quite underloved yet so versatile. In the Sun, Maractus can run a phsyical or special set with growth. I already had Buck so I went with special which did allow me to abuse Solarbeam. Anyways this mons movepoool is again lacking, but this mon can still dish out damage. Maractus hits 360 in the sun, which might be a bit unnecessary.

what is this (Magmar) @ Eviolite
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Thunder Punch
- Mach Punch
- Fire Punch

Well we are in the Sun, so why not abuse the fire types? This belly drum set is a bit of a gimmick, but in some occasions it does work out. Technically Magmar doesn't really benefit from the sun, but a mon with belly drum + priority is a mon I had to use. If Magmar can survive, it can destroy the whole tier. But alas, priority and mons that outspeed are Magmar's downfall.

not cool yet (Charmeleon) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Solar Power
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Dragon Pulse
- Overheat

This last spot was honestly up for grabs, but there weren't that many mons to choose from in FU. I ended up using ScarfMeleon because I figure in the Sun, he gets 1.5x Speed and SpAtk so yeah. The coverage was hard for me to decide. I previously had HP Ice, but I replaced it with grass for bulky waters.

Well there's the team, feel free to try it out and hopefully improve it :D

Why is your lead a three moves Graveler? Onir is much nicer due to high speed and taunt, even though it won't hit as hard. On mobile so I can't make an importable, but just run max attack max speed sunny day/taunt/stealth rock/explosion. There are other issues like Magmar being bad, but I don't have time to rate rn.

Hi allthenamesaregone first off welcome to Smogon!

Looking at your team at first there was a number of things that just seemed really bad to me, but then I remembered that this is FU! You really don't have to much to choose from when it comes to weather teams and you already got the best Pokemon for sun that's in FU, Sawsbuck. You have the makings of a good sun team here, it just needs a few tweaks. You have a bulky weather setter with rocks in Graveler and a priority setter with Volbeat, a couple of Chlorophyll abusers, and a pair of Fire-types. You pretty much hit all of the basics for a Sun Team so props on that! There are a few things that I'm going to suggest changing to optimize this team, the first thing is that you should be running a fast defensive support set on Graveler of 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe so as to outspeed slower Pokemon and have a chance to get up both Stealth Rocks and Sun before Exploding, also there is no reason not to run a 4th move so put Sucker Punch on Graveler. The thing with Graveler is that its quite slow and can be taunted or just straight up KO'd before accomplishing its job so another option for a lead setter is Monferno. With access to Taunt this means that Monferno can prevent opposing hazards and setup sweepers while still setting up its own hazards. Onto your next Sun setter, Volbeat; you picked a good one as Volbeat can provide lots of support with Twave and Encore and U-turn. You should run more of a defensive spread on Volbeat, 248 HP / 252 Def + / 4 SpD as this provides a slower U-turn which is needed for getting in a sun sweeper undamaged, it also means you take physical hits better and you already have Prankster for your support moves. Next up you should probably run Life Orb > Lum Berry on Sawsbuck as Sawsbuck wants its power and the opponent will be afraid of giving you a free switch into a Fire-type, I don't know what your spread on Sawsbuck is for but running Max Speed so you don't get outsped by any scarfed Pokemon while in the sun might be something you want to look into. Originally I was going to try to find a different Pokemon to replace Maractus, but it actually has really really good stats for FU, like you touch on its special pool is limited so running a mixed Maractus with Sucker Punch and HP Fire will better suit you while trying to sweep. So while Magmar seems like a good idea, in practice it rarely finds opportunity to set up, and Magmar doesn't actually abuse the sun to well. To replace it with a Fire-type I'm going to suggest running Rapidash > Magmar as Rapidash has an incredibly powerful STAB move in Flare Blitz and can heal off in the sun with Morning Sun. I listed all of the sets and spreads that I made more than one change to below, any questions just ask.
