[OVERVIEW]
- Necrozma is a really interesting Pokemon as it has many niches in the overused tier like being one of the few pokemom to have trick room, and stealth rock together.
- It also has above average bulk and a good special attack stat to add to it.
- Necrozma also has an ability that no other Pokemon has had before,prism armor!This ability allows it to take 3/4 from super effective attacks which is really helpful as it's defensive stats are not that high.
- Unfortunately it has a lot of competition as a lead.Azelf and Smeargle are nearly always better.Not only that but it also faces competition as a trick room lead users with uxie and carbink.
- As for a Spdef bulky pokemonthere is Chansey,jirachi,magearna,celesteela,and tangrowth are just way better options for a Spdef wall
- Also not to mention physical bulky pokemon like Landorus-t,tangrowth, clefable, and skarmory are just so much competition for it.
- Necrozma also has a relatively bad speed tier with the base stat of 79.
- It also easily gets shut down by taunt users.
- It is also extremely prone to status like toxic that can wear it down a lot or cripple it all together.

Moves
=======
- Stored power is there so you are able to dish out a ton of damage once this Pokemon is passed to with speed, and or once it sets up calm minds or iron defenses.
- Moonlight is for recovery as this Pokemon doesn't have sky high defenses like ferrothorn and will constantly need to heal throughout its time setting up calm minds,or iron defense.
- Iron defense is there to boost its defenses and boost stored powers base power up.
- Charge beam is for an attack that can hit opposing dark type Pokemon that would be immune to stored power and boost stored power simultaneously.
- Calm mind like iron defense is being used to boost its Spdef stat while it also boost its spa stat, boosting stored power as much as iron defense which is great for necrozma.Calm mind also boost charge beams power,even though charge beam can get boosted on its own it's not 100% accurate and is not a guaranteed boost.
Set Details
==========
- Max HP is used to maximize it's hit points so it can better take special attacks and physical attacks.
- 72 speed is used because after a +1it is able to outspeed base 95 speed Pokemon like maximum speed Tapu Lele,or a Kyurem-Black.
- The remainder of the evs are dumped into defense as it unlike Spdef can counter a lot more Pokemon and it allows scolipede to pass more easily to it(or mew).
Usage tips
==========
- When using the non charge beam variant,make sure to not attempt to sweep with Necrozma until the dark type is weak with life orb and Necrozma(implying it's speed boosted and calm minded when it came in via switch) and is able to life orb stall it out.If it's not life orb try killing it with another speed sweeper or avoid sweeping with Necrozma in general.
- Also try to make sure that Necrozma when using a sweeping Necrozma set,try to get Necrozma as much speed as possible to further boost its stored power.
- When starting to set up with Necrozma try to predict what Pokemon your opponent might go into,and set up depending on what Pokemon you might think he or she will go into.For example, if you think your opponent might switch to Zygarde, try and set up before hand.
- Also switch out or just avoid sweeping with Necrozma until status Pokemon like chansey and jirachi are down as when it's poisoned it can really cripple it and limits Necrozma's sweeping potential a lot.
Team options
=============
- Set up baton pass Pokemon like Mew, and scolipede are great as they give Necrozma free boosted bulk or a bunch of speed which as a result boost stored power and can easily result in a sweep when used correctly.
- Pokemon that can deal with bulky steel types like dugtrio,Landorus-t, and the charizard megas are great team options as they make Necrozma's job as a baton pass sweeper much easier as many base 80 or 100 power stored powers have trouble two hit koing bulky steel types,and Landorus-t and charizard really appreciate boosted speed or bulk from baton passers.
- Pokemon capable of dealing with dark types like magearna or Tapu Lele are great teammates as it makes stored power more spamable for Necrozma and this is especially helpful on the non charge beam set since without charge beam it's completely walled by dark types.
- Hazard setters are also are great teammates with Necrozma as Pokemon that might survive boosted stored power might not with the combination of stored power and stealth rock,this can also annoy bulky steel types as without hazard they could switch in and attempt to kill or weaken it, Pokemon like dugtrio, and heatran are great for a stealth rock role for Necrozma baton pass.
- Memento users are also generally great partners as they are able to allow Necrozma to potentially sweep since Memento lowers the opposing Pokemon's offensive stats.Pokemon like whimsicott and latios are excellent memento users for Necrozma.
- Screen users like Latios,Latios,and Tapu Koko are extremely beneficial to Necrozma as it gives Necrozma time to set up its defenses and sweep or punch a huge hole into the opponent's team which in turn gives the user the edge in a game.

Other options
=============
- There are not many other options to this set but lum berry over leftovers is a decent alternative as any status Pokemon that does not get koed by boosted stored power lum berry can extend can heal that toxic and Necrozma can fire off another stored power and get a kill.
Checks and counters
===================
- Whirlwind Pokemon or roar users like skarmory are great checks to Necrozma (or counters depending on how much stats are boosted on Necrozma).
- Chansey is very annoying as it can tank a few stored powers and toxic it,limiting Necrozma's sweeping time or shut down a potential sweep.
- Status users with toxic like chansey or jirachi can easily shut down a Necrozma sweep due to moonlight not being able to keep up with poisons racking up damage.
- Taunt users like Tapu Fini are a huge pain for Necrozma as it completely stops Necrozma from accomplishing anything due to its low base power moves when it's unboosted.
