Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Spikes / Stealth Rock
- Toxic

Watch out for this scorpion's toxic ways! Gliscor flies to the top of National Dex with its reliable entry hazard set, forcing chip damage in a variety of ways. Earthquake threatens common special attackers like Raging Bolt and Heatran, while Protect lets Gliscor recover safely while scouting foes like Choice item Tapu Lele and Hisuian Samurott. Gliscor can choose between Stealth Rock and Spikes, while Toxic punishes attempts to exploit its defensive nature from Pokemon like Landorus-T and Ogerpon-W. Due to Gliscor's naturally high Defense, it chooses to invest in Special Defense and HP to become a formidable defensive behemoth. With Toxapex and Ferrothorn, Gliscor forms a notorious defensive core that has taken the metagame by storm. Both partners check the Water- and Ice-types that threaten Gliscor like Urshifu-R and Ogerpon-W and offer Knock Off to force hazard chip on Heavy-Duty Boots users like Alomomola and opposing Toxapex. Toxapex additionally offers Haze to check troublesome sweepers such as Volcarona and Iron Valiant, while Ferrothorn complements Gliscor's entry hazards with its own Spikes or Stealth Rock. These three can often outlast hazard removal like Great Tusk and Terapagos, ensuring hazards stay up long-term.

Watch out for this scorpion's toxic ways! Gliscor flies to the top of National Dex with its old reliable entry hazard set, forcing chip damage in a variety of ways. Earthquake threatens common special attackers like Gholdengo and Heatran can reword these as common defensive pokemon can keep heatran but I would add something else like pex over ghold as this glisc set doesn’t touch balloon ghold, while Protect allows Gliscor to recover safely while scouting opponents like Choiced Tapu Lele and Hisuian Samurott, and even force Toxic damage. Gliscor can choose its entry hazard of choice between Stealth Rock and Spikes depending on the other setter on its team, while Toxic punishes attempts to exploit its defensive nature from Pokemon like Landorus-T, Mega Charizard Y, and Ogerpon-W. Due to Gliscor's naturally high Defense, it chooses to invest in Special Defense and HP to become a formidable defensive behemoth on both sides that can take on popular threats like Mega Diancie and Zamazenta. With Toxapex and Ferrothorn, Gliscor forms a notorious defensive core that has taken the metagame by storm. Both partners check the Water and Ice-types that threaten Gliscor like Urshifu-Rapid-Strike and Ogerpon-W, as well as offering Knock Off to force hazard chip on Heavy-Duty-Boots users like Alomomola and opposing Toxapex. Toxapex additionally offers Haze to check troublesome sweepers such as Volcarona and Iron Valiant, while Ferrothorn often complements Gliscor's entry hazards with its own Spikes or Stealth Rocks mention this cores ability to outlast common forms of hazard removal like Great Tusk and Terapagos.

Good to go after implementation

FayaWizard please implement this. I'm not going to stamp this yet, as this is still too long. This is the furthest that I can cut without seriously altering the meaning of sentences and removing content, so you need to decide what is worth keeping here and what can be left unsaid. I would recommend removing some a couple of the examples listed. I would keep the ones that are especially salient to Gliscor and then tell me those that are just color / filler and can be removed. I will stamp once this happens. Thanks!

Toxapex additionally offers Haze to check troublesome sweepers such as Volcarona and Iron Valiant, while Ferrothorn often complements Gliscor's entry hazards with its own Spikes or Stealth Rocks Rock. Together, they do you mean just ferro + glisc? this needs to be adjusted if all 3 can often outlast hazard removal like Great Tusk and Terapagos, wearing them down and ensuring hazards stay up long term long-term.

sunny004 implemented and highlighted in green sections I think can be cut. If this isn't enough, the fluff at the beginning can be cut down as well, but preferably we can keep that :)
