Cuddle [Houndoom] [M]
Banned from the Hells and made fun of by his pairs because of his kindness, Cuddle has been searching for love and affection. However, every person he had met got scared of him. He didnt have any any trainer, nor a place to be. And as time was passing, Cuddle was starvng more and more. One day, Passant's Porygon found him, uncouscious. Bob teleported him and Passant immediatly gave food to the little Houndour. After that, Passant petted Cuddle. That was his very first petting, and he seeked that since his bearth! He begged Passant to be his master. The man accepted. Cuddle is now the happier Houndoom you can see! Oh, and if you want a tip: he will let you win any Pokémon battle f you give to this good boy 30 belly rubs.

Chimecho [F] [Charlotte]
Charlotte has a joyful personnality: she always smiles at everything and everybody. She's a one-Pokémon party, and not a single Pokémon in Passant's team dislike her. It looks like nothing in this world could wipe off this smile. Well, it's almost true. One day, Passant was around the Lake Valor when he heard a loud scream. It was a bleeding Staravia, and a bloodthirsty Chingling was about to rip it appart with its magical power. Passant sent out Mesrine to fight the Chingling, and after the Honchkrow finished to beat it, they discovered the Staravia ate one of the Chingling's friend, a Magikarp. Passant decided to let nature takes its course for this time, and once the Magikarp avenged, the trainer captured the Chingling: he couldn't afford to let such such a psychopathic Pokémon on the loose. Now, Charlotte happily fight on Passant's side, and often asks Bob for new anime to watch. Well, Passant got one weaboo team, but like trainer like Pokémon right?

Ms. Jasper
[Mismagius] [F]
A very foul-mouthed ghost that mistakes curse incantations with curse words, Ms. Jasper was fond by Passant in a gloomy forest when the trainer heard a voice screaming repeatidly "HOLY SHIT, THAT GODDAMN TREE IS SO COOL" at a Trevenant. The annoyed spectral tree was about to deliver a nasty Shadow Ball, however Passant captured the Misdreavus before she got hit. The Trevenant was fine with that as long as she wouldn't yell at it. Now, she enjoys being in Passant's crew, her overreactions when the smallest thing happens always make the team smile.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, today's match is in a special arena. Please watch out for possibly harmul weather effects such as thunder strikes or sand in your eyes. Special protection equipment is located at the entrance if you don't have your own.
Now for the teams! Jayy splits my heart in half because I want to root for whoever has Meloetta but Necturna on the other hand is bleh. But eh, I guess he also has a Roserade so that's a net positive. He also brought Tyranitar as his only Mega Evolving Pokémon, so there's no mystery on that front at least. Passant on the other hand has a team of underdogs, among which his trusty Chimecho and two possible Mega Evolutions in Houndoom and Metagross. Houndoom could notably take advantage of a possible sun weather, in contrast to Jayy's Tyranitar who would enjoy Sand.
...
Wait, someone just told me Mega Evolutions are not allowed in this battle? Well damn, that makes Passant's job a bit tougher...
Ah, but the wheel of fate (and weather and terrain, but it doesn't sound nearly as cool) is going to be spun for the first time! Let's see how it can affect the first sendout.

Weather wheel: rolled 4. ==> Sand
Terrain wheel: rolled 3. ==> Electric Terrain

My, my, Sand Veil and +6 BAP for special moves. I can't determine if this will be an offensive or defensive round...

"Alright."

Hammer Arm / Meteor Mash / Hammer Arm
If Tyranitar is under the evasive effect of Dig when you are to act, then use Magnet Rise the first instance, Iron Defense second instance, restarting queue order each time.
If Tyranitar is to use Counter, use Miracle Eye the first instance, Psychic further instances, restarting queue order each time.
If tyranitar is to use a damaging Fire-Type combo this action, then use Protect instead and restart queue order.

Jayy sends out Tyranitar and UPO logically sends out his only counter, Metagross. With Sand up, Tyranitar should do rather well!
It begins the match by bracing for impact... but impact there isnt' as Metagross was cautiously analyzing its opponent before making any move. I guess the sand alters everyone's sight and not only mine, huh. Anyway, having sufficiently gauged the situation, Metagross readies one of its arms and punches Tyranitar, denting its armor and making rock shards fly everywhere!
Wait! These are not Tyranitar's skin, that's some Stealth Rock! UPO will be pressured to switch now, moreso with Houndoom... But Metagross doesn't care and lands a crushing blow on its foe! Tyranitar manages to get out of his grip and retaliates with an empowered special attack, which does some damage.
UPO took the upper hand in HP there, but Stealth Rock might come in clutch later.
And now for you new weather forecast!

Weather wheel: rolled 1. ==> Rain
Terrain wheel: rolled 2. ==> Misty Terrain

Oooh, Metagross will love the rain! Umbrellas are at your disposal by the entrance. Misty Terrain will shift the battle from tricks to sheer force and may hinder anyone ordering second... How wild!

Also another small nitpick, Metagross should use Hammer Arm A2 and Meteor Mash A3, since the sub says to restart the action queue.

Doesn't affect what I'm about to do, but I do want to see if we can score a flinch A3.

Feeling determine to close UPO's options, Jayy switches to Necturna with a curious item choice. The ghostly plant princess thingy doesn't waste time as it slides into the shadow realm and strikes Metagross... before letting out a half-pained, half-surprised yelp at it hurts himself on its foe's steely skin! Metagross had stealthily reinforced its armor while Necturna was busy preparing its attack! Now cautious, Necturna doesn't let the iron spider out of its sight as it rushes to deliver a Shadow Claw. Metagross knows how to welcome a guest though, and thanks it with a strong Ice Punch!
Necturna opens another portal to the shadow realm, but this time Metagross rushes in, trying to intercept it... and failing as the ghost once again fades from existence and strikes it from behind, all the while laughing as if to mock its unlucky foe.
Do, or do not, but there is no try.
The wheel is about to be spun once again, as Metagross has trouble standing up and Necturna still sports a mocking grin!

Weather wheel: rolled 2. ==> Hail
Terrain wheel: rolled 3. ==> Psychic Terrain

More Evasion shenanigans and less status moves? Looks like this match will be arm wrestling at its finest! No tricks, only power! Necturna might not appreciate the Blizzards coming its way though...

Necturna once again attempts to use its signature attack, but cannot prevent Metagross from striking it on the way out! Metagross's armored skin makes it difficult to hurt as well.
Suddenly, Necturna gives up these hide-and-seek tactics and rushes in, ripping the Expert Belt off Metagross and tying it on its own waist. But, wasn't it holding an item a moment ago? Isn't that against the rules...?
In any case, Metagross is now pissed and use the icicles that magically appeared within the arena as throwing lances, hoping to dent its foe... What's this?! Necturna dodged them all with unnatural speed and accuracy-
Wait a minute. Where is its Eject Button? Could that be the reason it was able to Thief the Belt away?
Ah! No time to ponder this further as Necturna strikes down Metagross with a sharp Shadow Claw, adding insult to injury as the Expert Belt is what allows it to land the finishing blow. How mean.
Jayy takes the lead but Necturna has been weakened, perhaps ordering second will allow UPO to even the score?
Let's find out who Mother Nature favors!

Weather wheel: rolled 1. ==> Rain
Terrain wheel: rolled 3. ==> Electric Terrain

This sounds like we might see a lot of Thunders next round! Big damage incoming!

Also btw Hail shouldn't have damaged Necturna or Metagross. Snow Cloak protects Pokemon with the ability from Hail damage.

Tyranitar: Dark Pulse | Dark Pulse | Dark Pulse
- If you are tormented and you used Dark Pulse last action, use Knock Off.
- If Mismagius is to use Phantom Force, use Pursuit.

After Metagross goes down, Passant sends out Mismagius, a curious choice considering it's Levitating and cannot use the current Terrain. Except apprently it does, maybe the electricity layer is super thick or something. In response, Jayy chooses Tyranitar.
Both Pokémon throw their best attacks at each other, and while Tyranitar manages to shave off half of its foe's HP, it finally goes down.
This round was a showcase of a Terrain's usefulness, and guess what? It's time to change it!

Weather wheel: rolled 2. ==> Sun
Terrain wheel: rolled 1. ==> Grassy Terrain

Sun and Grassy Terrain, like a meadow with a gentle breeze... but now's not the time to daydream! Next round should be short, but will both contestants take advantage of the conditions to their fullest extent?
