Alright, so I have a team that I created. My peak with it so far is around 1400 and I would like some advice. I am quite new to pokemon showdown and my account isn't even 1 week old yet! But I created a team and I'd like to share it. Suggestions on who to change or edit is much appreciated, constructive critiscm is also fine. So here is my team , also to the admin who checks out threads and locks them. I like your shuckle profile picture lol
Pretty much the lead who sets up sticky webs and then attacks, Bug buzz and Thunder for STAB and infestation to trap opponents.
Not much to say about it, although it has gotten like 2 kills off a team before. Pretty deadly lead if I do say so myself.
Aegislash, overall pretty good. I might replace Shadow Claw with Shadow Sneak since he is so slow. However with weakness policy, it's insanely strong. Using king's shield to lower their attack and then take a hit before transforming is really powerful. It wipes out teams before dying to the slowness. Just be sure to time the hits right.
Inteleon is a god dam monster after getting 1 focus energy up, not only does the Sniper ability increase damage of a critical hit by 1.5. Critical hits also ignore stat boost meaning your +6 Sp defense boost aren't gonna do crap. Ice beam for coverage on grass types, surf is better then snipe shot. More damage and the extra critical rate on snipe shot doesn't matter, every hit is a critical with 1 focus energy.
Shadow ball for coverage on ghost/psychic types.
This is the one I'm looking to replace, it's alright defense and has decent coverage but I already have a ghost type and electric immunity isn't the most needed. But palossand does his job fairly well, bulky enough to take a hit and kills some enemies. Giga Drain for healing, Earth Power and Shadow Ball for STAB and psychic is just coverage I guess, didn't know what to put the move as.
Weavile is another beast, You could either slap a heavy duty boots or a focus sash on. Swords dance helps a ton although it can sweep teams even without it. This is more of a mid-game sweeper to kill off the remaining with ice shard. Brick break helps with ice types and rock types. Shadow Claw is good too, now I don't have a dark type move unfortunately but I think this set still works pretty well.
Last but not least, we have the ace of the team. Noivern is EXTREMELY underrated as i have only seen him used once, Boomburst fits well with throat spray as well as being a 140 base power attack! Absolutely insane! Once he gets the 1.5 special attack boost from throat spray, he can demolish enemies that are slower then him. Oh an ice type? Just use heat wave! Another dragon type? Use dragon pulse and blast them into pieces! Hurricane is for coverage and STAB. Infiltrator blast right through the defenses trying to stall time.
That's about it, I am sorry if the images are too big. I am quite new to this website and Pokemon Showdown as a whole, ill be reading alot of the replies and comments! Anyone who post suggestions, thanks so much! I'll try alot of them out. Also golisopod is my favorite bug type pokemon lol
An edit: I actually replaced Palossand with the underrated Lanturn pokemon since alot of my team is weak to electric. Still up for suggestions though!
