My first ever X and Y OU team!

Below if my first XYOU team. I would love to improve it, but I'm new to the team building process, so I'm not quite sure how yet. Without further ado, here is the team:
Thundurus (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Taunt
This is a great lead Pokemon. Prankster Thunder Wave is always fun, plus, his great speed stat combos with his prankster allowing him to get a Taunt off over other Prankster leads such as Klefki. Additionally, he can always successfully get his taunts off on any rocks or spikes lead that your opponent can throw at you. Hidden Power Fire helps to take care of pokemon like ferrothorn after they've been taunted, and thunderbolt provides nice STAB damage. EV's provide some bulk so that he can take a few hits while he does what he need to do.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
While I don't usually lead with this little guy, it's always nice to have a nice rock setter on my team, plus leech seed can at times force a switch into painful entry hazards. Rocky Helmet/Iron Barbs is a great trap to switch into physical attackers, effectively taking around 25% of their health upon contact, and Ferrothorns defense helps him live through many physical hits.

Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
Pretty standard physical attacker. His Gale Wings provides priority to powerful brave bird and roost. Also, his amazing attack lets him OHKO tons of OU threats such as other Ferrothorns and occasionally Venusaurs.

Greninja @ Expert Belt
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- U-turn
- Hydro Pump
Excellent special sweeper. Move-set was chosen based on the most common threats to hit. Grass knot to get rid of bulky water types, ice beam to take out dragons, flying types, and Tyranitars. U-turn for things like psychics, and hydro pump for a powerful STAB that also provides type coverage. I'm considering switching ice beam for shadow sneak.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Heal Bell
- Hyper Voice
- Wish
- Toxic
Nice stalling Pokemon. His decent Special defense allows him to wall out many special attackers that don't have a super effective attack. Toxic stalls out other walls and forces them to switch out. The Wish-Pass is real with this bulky little guy, Heal Bell free your team from the bindings that are status conditions, and hyper voice provides nice fairy stab. Switch this Eevee-lution into an outraging Dragonite and go to town!

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- iron head
- Swords Dance
This is the only Pokemon that I'm not entirely sure is needed on this team. Originally, I had him to clear rocks for Charizard, and while I do still need protection for Talonflame, I'm starting to believe that there could be better choices that this Mole. His set is pretty basic: Earthquake for STAB, Iron Head for STAB and fairy slaying, and a swords dance if you get the chance to set-up.
