So I saw it on Saturday. Sadly, because I have an English copy of the game and not a Japanese copy I couldnt get Darkrai (AGSFGASHASGHSGA) but the movie itself... was AWESOME. Like, I actually enjoyed it. Usually Pokemon movies are... amusing. But this one was pretty good. Maybe second to only the first one with Mewtwo, seriously.
So here are some spoilers if youre interested. Its in white text, I dunno if we have other forum styles yet or not, so hopefully everyone has to highlight them to see them. >_>
If you can watch this movie with surround sound you should, cause all the explosions and fighting and roaring sounded pretty cool in the theater.
Id give it maybe... an 8 or 8.5 out of 10.
on an unrelated note, we went to the Pokemon Center in Nihombashi the week earlier in the morning, and it had a line of people starting from its doors that went down the street, around the corner, around another corner and up another street. People were waiting for it to open so they could get the new Diamond and Pearl trading cards, I think. It was crazy. Pokemon is still a huge thing over here. ._.

- Darkrai kicks ass in the movie. holy crap.
- Palkia and Dialga fight a lot, which was awesome
- Palkia gets its ass handed to it by Dialga and one of its shoulder pearl things breaks
- Darkrai can talk, has legs (?!) and is male in the same way Mewtwo was male, even though hes supposed to be genderless
- He has two eyes too, he just has emo bangs over his right one.
- No Pikachu short at the beginning
- Darkrai is the villian in the beginning, but they turn him into a misunderstood Beauty-and-the-Beast-type of thing later, which was kinda lame
- He dies while trying to stop Palkia and Dialga from destroying the town where Ash and everyone is staying while theyre fighting, but then he comes back in the end.
