SM OU Moth Into Flame [Volcarona Sunny Day Team]

Hey all, not really sure how to introduce myself but I've been in and out of competitive since Gen V. This is my first time posting an RMT, and I've only been playing on Showdown for a couple of weeks now. Here goes.

Note: I'm very open to changes, especially since I'm rather new to the game. However, I would like to keep Volcarona on the team as she's my second favorite Pokemon. I would also like to avoid legendaries and ultra beasts since I plan to breed this team on my game and would prefer not to hack.

An In-Depth Look:

Espeon (F) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sunny Day
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Psychic

While I don't normally lead with Espeon, she does really well early-game. Heat rock allows for sunny day to last longer. Wish and heal bell are for support, and psychic is STAB in case i get taunted or in any type of other tight spot. Magic bounce allows for switch-ins to leads when I predict a hazard or status move. This especially becomes useful when bouncing stealth rocks since Volcarona is so weak to them.

The evs and nature are to help espeon survive a couple hits so she can magic bounce and get more than one sunnny day in.

Tyranitar (M) @ Muscle Band
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Hardy Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge

T-tar's main job is to set up my own rocks. Taunt helps prevent set-up sweepers who could rival Volcarona and prevent rocks from getting on my side of the field. Stone edge hits on fire types who take advantage of sun and flying types who can OHKO Volcarona.

I don't really end up using Tyranitar all to much, mainly because of his speed.

Swampert @ Assault Vest
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Power-Up Punch

Swampert is the most recent addition to my team. This spot was originally held by Starmie, but I found that the starfish wasn't surviving long enough. Earthquake and Ice punch serve as coverage moves. Power-up punch allows Swampert to set up if the opportunity arises. Swampert is my main counter to rain teams, as waterfall allows him to hit hard.

Venusaur (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 140 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 1 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis

Venusaur does great under the sun with chlorophyll and hp fire. In addition, giga drain helps break down many of the water types on rain teams while getting his own health back. Synthesis helps stall, especially when sludge bomb poisons. Venusaur's typing can absorb toxic's if I predict right, which saves me from having to bring in Espeon.

Charizard (M) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Defog

Charizard-Y is my main man when it comes to setting up sun since he takes one less turn than Espeon. His first three moves are pretty textbook, but I went with defog over roost as I found I use Charizard more aggressively and haven't been healing him up. While defogging as a fire/flying is risky, I don't want to have to make room for a dedicated rapid spinner/defogger. I'd also rather have him take the rocks than Volcarona.

Volcarona (F) @ Firium Z
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Hardy Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Fire Blast
- Quiver Dance
- Solar Beam

The star of the show. Once her threats are cleared up and fresh sun is set up, I send her in to quiver dace on the first turn. I pick moves based on type advantage and attempt to sweep. If i come into a match-up where I'm unsure what to use, sun-boosted Inferno Overdrive will usually do the job.

Threats:

I haven't pinpointed too many threats yet, but I will be listing them as I play more. I'm sure there are way more than what I have written down.

Earthquake: My whole team has a hard time handling this common move. Even Swampert and Venusaur take a good chunk of health. A wide variety of Pokemon get this move so countering it can be difficult.
Set-up Sweepers: I don't have a hazer on my team, so swords dance users and the like get out of control pretty easily if I don't knock them out fast enough.
Other Volcarona: if I don't set up my own quick enough, I normally get sweeped.
