With Substitute, Okidogi can safely set up in the face of foes it can take hits from such as Alolan Muk and Pecharunt. Knock Off prevents it from being walled by Gholdengo and removes items from holders that rely on them. Poison Jab can be run over Knock Off to threaten Fairy-types as well as Grass-types such as the Ogerpon formes and Meowscarada. 164 Special Defense EVs allow it to avoid guaranteed 2HKOs from Choice Scarf Enamorus, while 96 Speed EVs allow it to outspeed Magnezone and Jolly Azumarill. Great Tusk provides entry hazard support with Stealth Rock and breaks down Poison-types such as Toxapex and Unaware Clodsire. Iron Hands takes out Flying-types such as Corviknight, Dragonite, and Tornadus-T and can take a Ground-type attack from Pokemon like Landorus and Garchomp with Shuca Berry and take them out with Ice Punch.
