Mono Electric

Deciding to do what many people don't remember to do! Make a mono team Electric! Rain Dance is what allows the Wild Card Skarmary to function at its best, plus the rest of the team tries to paralyze the foes with Stab Thunders or Thunder waves, allowing Electavire and Magnezone to sweep even without the speed boost.

Rotom-H functions as a bulky revenge killer, and helps deal with Starmies that plague the team with Rapid Spin, and Life Orb Surfs/Hydro Pumps, Thunderbolts (Skarmary; I switch in Electivire usually) and Ice Beams.

Mag helps as a Steel killer, dealing with Empoleon and Forretress switch-ins, additionally, it helps fight opposing Skarmaries.

Jolteon (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 8 HP/252 Spd/248 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
---

Thunder Waves foes that wont die, hits Rotoms/Latias/Gengars/Azelfs hard with Shadow Ball, while absorbing Thunderwaves and Thunderbolts for Skarmary, and hits Gliscor damn hard especially helpful since many Gliscors lead.

Checks Adamant Gyarados (big threat to team with Earthquake, Stone Edge, Waterfall, and Dragon Dance, can even threaten Skarm with Taunt).

Zapdos @ Damp Rock
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP/228 Def/32 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Rain Dance
- Light Screen
- Roost
---

Helps Skarm and Magnezone bathe away their Fire weakness..

Zapdos, and Rotom-H especially, benefit as well, packing their own Thunders, and Rotom-H now gets a STAB equivalent boost to Hydro Pump.

Light Screen aids my team at taking now boosted Surfs/Hydro Pumps, and helps Skarmary even more.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 40 HP/216 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Thunder Wave
---

Steel trapper set, with Thunder Wave backing it, and Substitute allowing for a free shield when it kills the Steel, protected for the next foe to come in.

Hidden Power Grass because Swampert, and the odd Rhyperior.

Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 252 Atk/220 Spd/36 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Thunderbolt
- Cross Chop
- Flamethrower
- Ice Punch
---

Although Zapdos, and Skarmary attract Thunderbolts, Electivire can also come in on Thunderwaves.

I needed Electivire because he is the only (barring Pikachu with Light Ball) Electric-type to be physical based. Plus he can mix sweep and use Flamethrower when Rain Dance wears off.

P.S. I tried Low Kick and it sux vs Blissey.

Rotom-w @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 212 HP/160 Def/136 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Pain Split
---

Works greater than expected. Used extra Speed to outspeed Spinner Starmie (which is a huge threat if Rain is up, boosting its Surf/Hydro Pump). Additionally, Starmie with Life Orb can wreak havoc on my team, as it can Thunderbolt Skarmary, Ice Beam Zapdos before it can retaliate, and Rapin Spin away my Spikes.

Trick works to make Blissey/Swampert/Hippowdon, etc. worthless. Pain Split is so I can either heal it after Trick (and hopefully get Leftovers), or to quickly switch in on a resisted hit, and Pain Split before it gets hit again using Scarf to go first.

Hydro Pump handles Infernape and Heatran switch-ins, expecting W-o-w, and if Heatran isn't Scarfed he is 2hkoed with Hydro Pump after 1 layer of Spikes (without Rain).

EVs maximize Defense (used the applet in the Max Def Guide)

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Roost
- Spikes
---

Immune to Toxic and Earthquake, Phazer, Spiker, and resister to too many types to remember. Having mixed Defenses is a great asset, especially since Rain Dance allows it to come in on weaker Fire attacks (like Azelf's Flamethrower).

Overall, paralyze enemies, use Rain for both an offense and defense, set up some spikes along the way, and Sweep with Electivire, Jolteon, and even Magnezone after the foe accumulates entry hazard damage.

I fear Tyranitar, especially Taunt versions with Dragon Dance as Crunch / Stone Edge / Taunt or Earthquake / Dragon Dance handles my Zapdos, Skarmary, Rotom-H, etc.

I need help dealing with Tyranitar, (perhaps give Electivire a Scarf?)

Considering the importance of SR you may want to but stealth rock over Brave Bird or Spikes. Also if you want to count on rain you need another rain user. Some options can be on your jolteon, magnezone and/or over pain split on rotom. If you change all the thunder bolts to thunders 3 users is recommended. Try HP fighting on jolteon for one reason. Scarftar. It is getting more and more common and all your pokemon are beaten 1 on 1 except skarmory. Jeolteon is the only poke you have that outspeeds and can hurt it.

Electivire can usually take a hit and hit back anyways.

No, scarftars earthquake does 118%-140% to vire and is the move he will use unless he is up against Zapdos or Rotom (he will never switch into Skamory.) I did forget sandstorm when I calculated the OHKO with HP. You can make sure it takes him down if you phaze with skarmory because 2 switches with 2 spikes guaranties the KO. I also suggest shed shell for Skarmory because he is very important to your team and an enemy Magnezone would punch a huge hole in your team.
