What is the bug?
During a random battle mayhem, I had activated contrary for my team on turn 1, but on turn 6 my opponent used shadow ball and my special defense dropped instead of increasing. However, dropping my stats from moves like close combat or stepping on sticky web still worked normally, increasing the stats.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
Since contrary is banned in shared power, this could only be replicated through luck or testing on a native user of the contrary ability.

probably because they had Mold Breaker which ignores your ability - but you atill have Contrary for your own

Correct, Mold Breaker bypasses Contrary. To be sure, there is a bug in this replay, but it’s that Mold Breaker didn’t announce itself when Palossand switched in. This bug is already fixed in the source code, but the server hasn’t been updated with that just yet.
