Volt Switch pressures Water-types like Urshifu-R, Hisuian Samurott, and Arceus-Water and lets Magearna safely bring in another teammate. These two moves also let Magearna discourage Magic Bounce users like Mandibuzz, Hippowdon, and Corviknight from switching in, letting it further support its teammates by setting up Spikes.
