OMPL Champion
:SV/Ceruledge:
Ceruledge @ Lucarionite
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bitter Blade
- Poltergeist
- Shadow Sneak

Ceruledge carves through Mix and Mega thanks to its fantastic offensive typing, high Attack and Speed with Lucarionite, a resistance to Pixilate Extreme Speed, and Poltergeist's increased reliability with most Pokemon carrying a permanent item. Bitter Blade destroys Steel-types like Magearna and Corviknight, offsets entry hazard damage, and keeps Ceruledge out of range of moves like Pixilate Extreme Speed. Shadow Sneak can snipe would-be revenge killers such as Iron Boulder and Spectrier. An Adamant nature is generally preferred for more power, but a Jolly nature can let Ceruledge outspeed certain walls like Arceus-Water and Eternatus to OHKO them at +2 after hazards. Ceruledge pairs well with offensive pivots like Urshifu-R and Regieleki to capitalize on their checks such as Pecharunt and Magearna. Despite having Bitter Blade, Ceruledge still detests all forms of hazards, and so removal from Pokemon like Great Tusk and the aforementioned Regieleki are appreciated. Defensive pivots like Magearna and Pecharunt can switch into opposing threatening Pokemon like Eternatus and Urshifu-R and safely bring in Ceruledge.

Ceruledge carves through Mix and Mega thanks to its fantastic offensive typing, high attack and speed with Lucarionite, a resistance to common priority moves Would definetly specify Pixilate Extreme Speed here, since you'd never figure if you don't actively play/watch MnM, and Poltergeist's increased reliability with most Pokemon carrying a permanent item. Bitter Blade destroys Steel-types like Magearna and Corviknight, offsets entry hazards damage, and keeps Ceruledge out of range of moves like Pixilate Extreme Speed. Shadow Sneak can snipe would-be revenge-killers revenge killers (Remove hyphen) such as Iron Boulder and weakened Walking Wake. An Adamant nature is generally preferred for more power, but a Jolly nature can let Ceruledge outspeed certain walls like Arceus-Water and Eternatus to OHKO them at +2 Jolly has an extremely unlikely roll to kill Etern and never kills Waterceus so this isn't true + Adamant outspeeds all defensive variants of these two already, Jolly is kind of rare and tbh I don't personally think it does anything but I'll hear with Zastra. Ceruledge pairs well with offensive pivots like Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Urshifu-R and Diancite Walking Wake to capitalize on their checks such as Pecharunt and Magearna. Despite having Bitter Blade, Ceruledge still detests all forms of entry hazards, and so removal from Pokemon like Great Tusk and Regieleki is appreciated. Other physically attacking teammates like Kingambit and Groudon can help break down shared checks like Arceus-formes, and the latter also sets up Sun to further amplify Bitter Blade. Not gonna lie this last sentence is kind of redundant, as Ceru is already "unwallable"; I'd suggest talking instead about defensive teammates since Ceru's main weakness is it's mediocre speed letting it be revenged fairly easily.
