VGC MIRAIDON and ELEKI "ELISPAM"

Whats good, back with another team. One thing I realised while making this team is the massive cutting of rising voltage. This team is based off of psyspam teams but I have Regieleki and miraidon, Regieleki lets Miraidon outspeed a lot of threats like CSR and other Miraidon with electroweb, while also doing a lot of damage. On electric terrain, electroweb has power equal to rock slide and modest Regieleki is surpisingly strong.
Enough yapping, HERE is the team and let me get to my explanation.

Regieleki, a generation 8 powerhouse. I don't even get why they nerfed it. it wasn't THAT good. It was really strong but lacked any coverage. Luckily, even though Eleki was nerfed I feel it could still be very strong under electric terrain, its fast Electrowebs can allow Miraidon to outspeed opponents it usually couldn't and it has protect to stop any fake out shenanigans. I chose tera ground to pair with Miraidon's discharge and tera blast to hit other Miraidon/Incineroar. I have thunder as a main attack because of Tornadus's rain dance making it 100% accurate.

My main restricted is Miraidon, setting up electric terrain for itself, aswell as Farigiraf and others. It has alot of speed control support, from Regieleki, to Farigiraf, to Tornadus. I have a standard moveset and chose tera electric for added power/

Incineroar is here to cover holes in my team. My team is weak to both Rillaboom AND Indeedee and Incin can hinder/hit both, also walling Rillaboom. I have tera ghost for fighting attacks as well as fake out. And I chose sitrus berry over Goggs because electric terrain blocks spore
Incineroar @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 92 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature

- Knock Off
- Parting Shot

Due to Miraidon not being able to run protect, It is quite vulnerable to fake out. Armor tail can block that. It also has tera ground and can provide helping hand support. As well as being a good counter to trick room. It can also threaten both Calyrex with foul play
Farigiraf @ Electric Seed
Ability: Armor Tail
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 228 HP / 100 Def / 180 SpD

Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic Noise
- Foul Play
- Trick Room
- Helping Hand

Urshifu is a huge threat to pokemon that are good into my team, Incineroar, BM Ursaluna both catch OHKOs from Urshifu. It synergizes well with Tornadus which can set up rain and Farigiraf which can block thunderclap.
Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Unseen Fist
Level: 50

Tera Type: Water
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- U-turn

- Aqua Jet

Torn provides speed control for my team that is quite helpful. It also sets up rain which is helpful for sun teams and can taunt opponents to prevent set up moves. Tera dark is to avoid taunt and bleakwind storm is good for hitting rillaboom and urshifu.
Tornadus @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 HP / 1
24 Def / 84 SpA / 44 SpD / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Bleakwind Storm
- Rain Dance
- Tailwind
- Taunt

I am a bit scared of Rillaboom for this team but please tell me if I have anything I need to change.

Hello Animecatbelike, cool team concept. As you have noted, the team is weak to Rillaboom, one of the top 3 Pokemon this format. There are many ways to fix this though.

Thunder on Regieleki is just super gimmicky, forcing you to bring Tornados alongside it. I would replace it with either Thunderbolt or Volt Switch for more momentum. Tera Ice or even Fire paired with Tera Blast feels better as a way to hit Rillaboom for nice damage, or maybe force a Tera out of them. You can also run more bulk, just make sure to run enough speed to out speed Adamant Scarf Urshifu-R by probably 2-3 points to speed creep others. Here is the Regi set I crafted: Here it is! It lives Astral Barrage from non-boosting nature CSR, as well as Psyshock. And it also lives boosting-nature max attack Miracle Seed Rillaboom Grassy Glide while KOing back with Tera Ice Tera Blast!

I personally don't like Tera Ghost, so Tera Grass can be used. Not mandatory, but another option there. The EVs are also just kind of jank, so here is your updated Incineroar: Spread felt weird, especially with the speed. I just chose to remove the speed for bulk, as this Incineroar feels like a bulky pivot.

Again, not mandatory, but running more power and potentially dropping Psychic Noise for Tera Blast on Farigiraf is an option for sure. Here is the new Farigiraf: Honestly not too set on this spread, change it to your liking.

And everything else feels fine in my opinion. Have fun and happy battling!
