[OVERVIEW]

Besides its good Speed tier, the rest of Meowstic-F's stats are average at best. This leads to Meowstic-F being easy to take hits from and KO in return. Its typing also leads Meowstic to being easily Pursuit trapped and weak to Sucker Punch, a common priority move. Furthermore, Meowstic-F is outclassed by other setup Psychic-types like Mesprit and Jynx. While they may have lower base Speed stats, both have better offensive presence and coverage moves alongside Mesprit's better bulk and Jynx's secondary typing and access to Nasty Plot and Z-Lovely Kiss, which boosts its Speed and can be used to play around Sucker Punch.

Meowstic-F is meant to switch into Defog users in order to activate its main niche over other Psychic-types, Competitive. Otherwise, its goal is to set up Calm Mind in an attempt to sweep. However, as stated before, this is much better achieved by other Psychic-types like Mesprit and Jynx. Furthermore, better Defog switch-ins are Primeape and even Pawniard, as they have an easier time sweeping with their respective Choice Scarf set and access to Sucker Punch. It also doesn't help that the two have a better matchup against a notable amount of Defog users, while Meowstic-F is weak to one of the most common Defoggers in Skuntank.
