I use too much of other ppl's team, then I want to try build my own team. I love using
1715999984841.png
, as it can use a 100% Accuracy with 100 BP Rock move. The key idea is to get a fast mon that can spam high BP Rock moves. Then I find out there is something even better than
1716000297953.png
, which is
1716000327169.png
with Choice

Band. This is how I start to making this team.

I start of building Choice Band Iron Boulder, Gholdengo walls Iron Boulder's both stab move. So I add a Kingambit as a Gholdengo check.

1716001418868.png
1716001423688.png
I need a spinner and a Kingambit check, so Great Tusk is add on the team.

This team lacks at Fairy resist and a special tank, Slowking-Galar is the perfect pick. And Kyurem is great partner with Slowking-Galar, also check Dondozo other wise will wall Iron Boulder.

Have of the team is weak to Ground type is not good, I need a Ground immunity for the team. Tornadus-Therian can knock off the item from opponent, and switch out with U-turn.

The problem is, Tornadus-Therian get 2HKO by Ice Spinner, not rly a good check to Great Tusk. I need a Great Tusk check with Ground immunity, Rotom-Wash works great here. Most Greak Tusk only have Ice Spinner or Headlong Rush, Rotom-Wash can eat these moves like nothing.

Iron Boulder @ Choice Band
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mighty Cleave
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt

I'm bad to find a SD chance, one time booster is kind of useless to me. So I add the item Choice Band, with make Iron Boulder become a dangerous team breaker. EQ is for Gholdengo but I never use it once. Choice Band Mighty Cleave can OHKO Meowscarada if not holding Scarf as an item. CC is for the mon's that are weak to Fighting types such as Kingambit and Ting-Lu. Zen Headbutt is for Greak Tusk if it low. Most of the time you just spam Mighty Cleave, this move is better than you thought. Tera Rock boost Mighty Cleave power even more, let you OHKO Ogerpon-Wellspring which is a problem to this team.

252 Atk Choice Band Iron Boulder Mighty Cleave vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Meowscarada: 295-348 (100.6 - 118.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Iron Boulder Mighty Cleave vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ogerpon-Wellspring: 255-300 (84.7 - 99.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Tera Rock Iron Boulder Mighty Cleave vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ogerpon-Wellspring: 340-400 (112.9 - 132.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 Atk Choice Band Iron Boulder Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Great Tusk: 294-348 (67.7 - 80.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Great Tusk @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Temper Flare
- Ice Spinner
- Headlong Rush
- Rapid Spin

Yea, a weird set, but this set works very well. Most common mon in OU that wall Great Tusk is Corviknight, Ice Spinner can't do too much to it. If you click Headlong Rush last turn and Corviknight switch in, this move become a 150BP Fire type move. If Corviknight is chiped by other mon, you have a chance to OHKO it. Tera Fire will OHKO Corviknight if boost attack. Ice Spinner hit Landorus-Therian and Gliscor hard. 252 Atk Headlong Rush can OHKO Kinganbit instead 4 Atk only do 70% something.
Rapid Spin to get rid of hazard.

252 Atk Protosynthesis Great Tusk Temper Flare vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 298-352 (74.5 - 88%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Protosynthesis Tera Fire Great Tusk Temper Flare vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 446-528 (111.5 - 132%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Protosynthesis Great Tusk Headlong Rush vs. 212 HP / 0 Def Kingambit: 440-518 (111.6 - 131.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
-1 252 Atk Great Tusk Ice Spinner vs. 252 HP / 220+ Def Landorus-Therian: 188-224 (49.2 - 58.6%) -- 98% chance to 2HKO
252 Atk Protosynthesis Great Tusk Ice Spinner vs. 244 HP / 248+ Def Gliscor: 284-336 (80.6 - 95.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal

Kyurem @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Freeze-Dry
- Earth Power

Kyurem is here to Drop a Draco! Thanks to its synergy with Glowking's Snow, which makes it deceptively bulky as well and a great answer to Ogerpon-Wellspring. I choose Draco Meteor instead of Blizzard bc I find myself don't click Blizzard that often, Draco Meteor hit everything but Fairy hard. Freeze Dry for Water types and Earth Power for Steel types. Ice Beam is just a stronger version of Freeze-Dry if opponent's team don't have a Water type. Tera Ground to get rid of Rock weakness and 2HKO Slowking-Galar.

252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Alomomola: 638-752 (119.4 - 140.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Corviknight: 252-297 (63 - 74.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Ogerpon-Wellspring: 328-387 (108.9 - 128.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

1716042611607.png

Kingambit @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Kowtow Cleave
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head

Since Iron Boulder is Choice locked, Gholdengo can switch in easly. Kingambit is a great Gholdengo check if it's lacks at Focus Blast. Black Glasses increase Kowtow Cleave power even farther. Iron Head hit Great Tusk natural damage, and hit Fairy types super effective damage. The Speed EV let you out speed Corviknight so you don't have to take Body Press damage.

+2 252+ Atk Supreme Overlord 3 allies fainted Kingambit Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Great Tusk: 304-358 (81.9 - 96.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Black Glasses Supreme Overlord 3 allies fainted Kingambit Kowtow Cleave vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 340-402 (85 - 100.5%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

1716042617678.png

Slowking-Galar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Chilly Reception
- Sludge Bomb
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast

Slowking-Galar is so good in this gen, it got a nice buff which is Chilly Reception. Slowking-Galar is my special tank and Toxic spike absorber. Sludge Bomb hit Fairy type super effective damage and get a poison sometimes. I choose Psyshock over Future Sight bc I'm bad at using it :/. It's also do a lot of damage to Iron Moth, you can KO it if chip with anything. Most of the time I just go Slowking then switch out using Chilly Reception, T-wave is not necessary for me. Focus Blast is the option to replace T-wave, sometimes Kingambit switch in and die if Focus Blast hit lol. Tera Water for Walking Wake.

0 SpA Slowking-Galar Sludge Bomb vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Iron Valiant: 320-378 (110.3 - 130.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Slowking-Galar Sludge Bomb vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Primarina: 126-150 (39.2 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Slowking-Galar Psyshock vs. 0 HP / 124 Def Iron Moth: 236-278 (78.4 - 92.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Slowking-Galar Focus Blast vs. 212 HP / 0 SpD Kingambit: 428-508 (108.6 - 128.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

1716042624203.png

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Tera Blast

This is first time I use Rotom-Wash - it's awesome! Hydro Pump can almost KO Great Tusk and hit other Ground types. Volt Switch let you keep moment against opponent also do decent damage to Corviknight. If Will-O-Wisp hit on physical attackers, it nothing to the team now. Tera Blast allow you hit Dragon types super effective damage, but this is not what is use for. I lost to SD Iron Valiant a lot of times, Tera Steel is just not that good on my team, Tera Fairy allow Rotom-Wash be a revenge killer. This set also works well to DD Kyurem, other monster could sweep my team.

0 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Great Tusk: 410-486 (94.4 - 111.9%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
0 SpA Rotom-Wash Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Corviknight: 180-212 (45 - 53%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Tera Fairy Rotom-Wash Tera Blast (80 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Iron Valiant: 270-320 (93.1 - 110.3%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
0 SpA Tera Fairy Rotom-Wash Tera Blast (80 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Kyurem: 198-234 (50.6 - 59.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Here is the Tornadus-Therian set I been use before.

1716074508418.png

Tornadus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 16 SpA / 48 SpD / 192 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bleakwind Storm
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Heat Wave

1716063412431.png
This mon could sweep this team very easily if Rotom is gone. (I have a 100% health Slowking VS +2 Iron Valiant, Knock Off can't KO me if I tera Water... But Iron Valiant use Thunder Punch!? BRO WHY???)

1716063639517.png
Kill this mon as soon as possible. Kingambit can only switch into it 2 times, there is a chance that chip by other Rocky Helmet mons. If Kingambit is gone, this mon will slowly break your team down. (Draco did 40% on Kingambit is crazy damage.)

1716063868877.png
I have nothing wall this mon, hit almost every mon on my team by super effective damage. It's also faster than Iron Boulder. (Maybe T-Wave is a good option?)

1716064122245.png
This mon is so annoying, if I KO it with Slowking then I'll get paralyzes. I might lose to late game bc of that para.

I am open to any suggestions that you might have! Thank you for looking at my team!

Hey, I tested your team a bit (I even laddered on my ladder tour account with it). I tried a few versions, and as of now, your team is very reliant on Rotom-Wash :rotom-wash: to check Iron Valiant :iron-valiant:, Zamazenta :Zamazenta: etc... So, let’s adapt it to current threats:

Iron Boulder :iron-boulder:: While Choice Band is a great idea due to its high offensive stats, it struggles in a fast-paced meta, getting outspeed by common threats like Iron Valiant :iron-valiant:, Darkrai :darkrai:, Roaring Moon :roaring-moon: after 1 Dragon Dance, Dragapult, and + spe Great Tusk :great-tusk: variants. Consider using Booster Energy on Iron Boulder :iron-boulder: to turn it into a fast sweeper, addressing the team's overall slow speed. Keep Earthquake for Gholdengo :gholdengo: and run Mighty Cleave / Close Combat. Tera Fighting can be beneficial against Kingambit :Kingambit:, and it provides a free Swords Dance setup opportunity against Darkrai :darkrai: and Samurott-H :samurott-hisui:.

Iron Boulder @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mighty Cleave
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

—————————————————————

Kyurem :kyurem: : Kyurem is a fine choice, but Dragapult :Dragapult: might be a better fit for this team. Dragapult :Dragapult: can act as an anti-spinner and counter Zamazenta :Zamazenta:, while also outspeeding non-Scarf Darkrai :darkrai: and is a better option against Waterpon :ogerpon-wellspring:. Using a Choice Specs set, Dragapult :Dragapult: becomes a powerful breaker that can efficiently support Iron Boulder :iron-boulder: by luring and breaking through its usual checks. Additionally, since the Choice Specs set isn't as common anymore, you can occasionally bluff a Will-O-Wisp set to catch your opponents off guard.

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- U-turn

—————————————————————

Great Tusk :great-tusk: : Great Tusk’s set is interesting and fun to use, but considering that your team isn't particularly weak to Skarmory :Skarmory:, Corviknight :Corviknight:, and Kingambit :kingambit:… Gliscor :gliscor: might be a better fit with a SpD investment. This adjustment provides you with more tools to handle threats like Iron Valiant :iron-valiant:, Dragapult :Dragapult:, Raging Bolt :raging-bolt:, Iron Moth (Tera Ground) :iron-moth:, and Zamazenta :zamazenta:. Gliscor :gliscor: also completes your defensive core and offers a Stealth Rock user, which your team currently lacks. Tera Dragon can be a better option for dealing with Waterpon :ogerpon-wellspring: and regular Ogerpon :ogerpon:. Your team isn’t that weak to hazards as well, even though you’ll have to be very aggressive against HStack teams

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Protect

—————————————————————

Slowking-Galar :slowking-galar:: The classic set is solid, but I believe Future Sight is more effective than Psyshock now that Volcarona :volcarona: is no longer a threat. Focus Blast isn't essential for dealing with Kingambit :Kingambit:, as you already have Rotom-Wash :rotom-wash: and Gliscor :gliscor: to handle it. Instead, Ice Beam would be a better choice to deal with Gliscor :gliscor: and Landorus-T :landorus-therian:. Additionally, setting Speed IVs to 0 ensures you can get a slow pivot with Chilly Reception, or at least tie with other Slowking-Galar :slowking-galar:.

Slowking-Galar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Chilly Reception
- Sludge Bomb
- Future Sight
- Ice Beam

—————————————————————

Kingambit :Kingambit:: The classic set is solid, but I suggest swapping Tera Fire for Tera Dark. This adjustment helps you break through stall teams :dondozo: more effectively, especially since you have other options to handle Dragapult :Dragapult: now.

—————————————————————

Rotom-Wash :rotom-wash: : I’m just gonna say Tera Blast is useless now, Pain Split is just better and can actually clutch some game (if you want more explanations, reach out to me)

Hope this help ! Let me know if you have other questions !

TYSM for this info, I will try this team on ladder later.
I will give Tera Dark Kingambit a shot, but what is the other mon can handle Dragapult on this team?

Also, try Tera Poison or Tera Steel on Washtom :rotom-wash: over Tera Fairy, it was in the final version I made of it. Tera Fairy without Tera Blast somehow become useless. I somehow made it to 1900s with the version I suggested you.
You have Gliscor :gliscor: vs Dragapult, of course, don’t come in a hex but you can easily handle it with Scor + Glowking or even Kingambit

Glad that you made this team reach the 1900s!!! I have two more question want to ask. Is the Gliscor using SpD to deal with Spec Dragapult? And what is Tera Poison for?
