Mew @ Sitrus Berry / Lum Berry
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Cosmic Power
- Body Press
- Stored Power
- Roost
In stark contrast to its more common sets, this Mew set can be a game-ending sweeper on teams that properly support it. Cosmic Power alongside its great bulk makes Mew rather hard to break through, especially with recovery from Roost and possibly Sitrus Berry. It also makes Stored Power and Body Press considerably powerful, and the two attacks have great type coverage. When combined with Mew being nearly unkillable, this offense can win games after a few boosts. Mew's Speed tier is also great, allowing it to set up before the majority of the metagame can attack it, particularly Urshifu-R, which would otherwise ignore its boosted defenses with critical hits. Mew's typing allows it to set up on a lot of Pokemon, it must be healthy to do so given its lacking resistances. It can also catch opponents by surprise due to Mew's high amount of sets along with the fact it shares similar partners with the more common Tailwind set. This Mew set appreciates common forms of offensive support, like Fake Out from Zeraora or Rillaboom and entry hazards, but Tapu Fini's Misty Terrain is particularly common, ensuring Toxic doesn't halt Mew's sweep.
