The purpose of this team was to try and build around Metagross and provide some utility to it as it has always been a pokemon I have really enjoyed.

The Assault Vest is meant to give additional bulk and allow to live longer as with an adamant set it hits like a truck with a 405 Attack stat and has decent bulk when HP invested. this set is running ice punch for any : Landorus-Therian : and : Gliscor : that tries to switch in or : Dragonite : that tries to set up in front of it. Rock slide is to deal with 
so that it can't freely switch in and try to get the flame body burn. Earthquake is to damage relevant threats such as 
and for solid chip on other mons and bullet punch is for the stab priority moves. Tera water is to immediately deal with things like 
So it can't just fiery dance its way to a win versus this team.

This max hp max special defense set is meant to be a specially defensive wall that calm minds up if anything gets too out of hand and is running moonblast for threats such as
and Tera steel is to deal with the booster special attack Raging Bolt and Sludge Bomb 
. Flip Turn is added to try and gain momentum and switch out while doing some chip to pivot into a more threatening mon once it has done its job as a wall. Surf is for a powerful stab attack that won't miss.

Max Hp Max defense Alomomola is meant to serve two main utilities here. It is meant to serve as a defensive wall as well as being the team's wish passer. Since none of these mons outside of corviknight have access to any healing moves alomomola's massive hp stat in tandem with its bulk makes it the perfect wish passer, and can allow to terrorize the game for much longer and deals with teams chipping away slowly at this team. is running scald to neutralize physical attackers like 
and 
. Its running Tera Ghost to deal with the idef body press 
. flip turn is to gain momentum and pivot into a more offensively threatening option, and play rough is meant to deal with threats like

Max Hp Max Defense Corviknight is supposed to serve as a defensive wall on this team. Since is threatening to this entire team, this Corviknight is running brave bird plus tera dragon to deal with any swords dance shenanigans from ogerpon or 
. U turn is just a way to pivot into a threatening pokemon and to apply pressure whilst gaining momentum. defog is the hazard removal for this team as most of the mons are not running boots so this was a necessary edition, and the rocky helmet is to chip away at physical threats like and .

Lokix is the main offensive threat on this team outside of and it is meant to provide immediate pressure on other teams with a hard hitting choice band set. First Impression is meant to be a powerful priority attack that is mostly used in the endgame after the other mons have chipped away allowing for lokix to essentially just clean up. Low Kick is to deal with the weakness to the king of endgames 
as well as things like 
and tera bug is to make it just hit even harder than it already does. U turn is to provide a pivot move that does a lot of damage to whatever switches in. knock off is for a powerful stab attack that will do significant damage to whatever its hitting whilst removing the opponents item.

Max speed max special attack Raging Bolt is here to be a hard hitting sweeper for when the opposition has been chipped down and can potentially sweep. Its a standard bolt set with calm mind to boost up and potentially sweep. dragon pulse for a powerful stab attack that threatens just about anything while the booster energy is active. thunderbolt is there for a powerful electric type attack. Thunderclap is to have a priority move for any mons that may outspeed it as well as just a powerful stab attack. It is tera fairy to cover for the dragon type weakness as well as just being a solid defensive typing.
weaknesses for the team: Hazard stack can definitely be an issue for this team, especially if either taunt or 
are on the field. is a massive threat in general for this team with shadow ball and nasty plot plus good as ghold it can very easily get out of hand if you're not careful with it. In addition the stall matchup can definitely be a bit rough at times to break through although usually lokix is able to provide enough pressure that it can be dealt with. Opposing :Raging Bolts: can also be an issue in the long run if youre not careful and the lack of any hazards on this team means that you have to chip it first before lokix can deal with it. the last mon that can give some real trouble is booster attack as if your corv is chipped at all then you're gonna be in for a rough time. anyways this is my metagross team and I hope you all enjoy!
