Metagross Lead

Coming back to the game, i created my own team. I just want it to be competitive so your suggestions would very appreciated!

Metagross (lead) @ Lum Berry
Nature - Adamant
252 HP/ 252 Atk / 4 Speed
Ability - Clear Body

Moveset:
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Meteor Mash
-Bullet Punch

The main purpose of Metagross is to set up the rocks. Its high Atk and HP make it even more difficult to defeat so it will always manage to make a set up. Definetely Lum Berry for status problems such as Sleep etc.

Bronzong (Dual Screener) @ Light Clay
Nature - Relaxed
252 HP/152 Atk/96 Sp.Def/8 Def
Ability - Levitate

Moveset:
-Light Screen
-Reflect
-Earthquake
-Explosion

With such defenses its easy to set up your barriers for your party pokemon. Earthquake over Gyro ball because it covers more types and Explosion when he has low HP and want to deal big damage. I dont have any problem sacrificing him for the good of the team as Gengar usually gets 2 kills balancing the Pokemons.

Gyarados (Core 1) @ leftovers
Nature - Jolly
252 Atk/252 Sp./4 Def
Ability - Intimidate

Moveset:
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge

Has done great in testing. A great sweeper. The only problem is that i have a hard time playing Dragon Dance, which is very important.

Jolteon (Core 2) @ Life Orb
Nature - Timid
252 Sp.Atk/252 Speed/4 Sp.Def
Ability - Volt Absorb

Moveset:
-Charge Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power Ice

Not my favourite Pokemon, but it makes a lot of synergy with Gyarados. The fact that i can switch to Jolteon, when Gyarados is about to be hit by an Electric move and still gain Hp from Volt Absorb makes Jolteon very good. Charge beam is for raising its Sp.atk even more. My problem with Jolteon is that it may not KO its opponent and get KOed itself easily. It doesnt remain in my party for long due to its bad defenses.

Salamence (Core 3 + Revenge Killer) @ Life Orb
Nature - Jolly
252 Atk/252 Speed/4 Def
Ability - Intimidate

Moveset:
-Outrage
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast

With this Speed and Atk its a thread for everything. Mostly for dealing with dragon type pokemons like Dragonite etc. Again Dragon Dance is a bit tricky to play. On the other hand Outrage is the best move. Life Orb for massive dmg.

Gengar (Revenge Killer) @ Choice Scarf
Nature - Timid
252 Speed/252 Sp.Atk/4 Def
Ability - Levitate

Moveset:
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-Focus Blast
-Explosion

Not only one of my favourite pokemon, but also one of the quickest one especially with choice scarf. In my opinion, he is one of the best revenge killers and provides a wide variety of moves. Again its low defence is a problem though.

By the way EVERY suggestion will be considered and i dont have any problem switching 2 or 3 pokemons if necessary. Thank you for the time you spent rating my team and i wish good luck in your games.

First thing I think about is that in my experience, Metagross was weak against a lot of leads. He can be 1hko'ed by strong fire and ground attacks, but is otherwise alright I suppose.

Don't bother with Charge Beam on Jolteon, he won't survive any attacks. I would put a Choice Spec on him instead and use him as wallbreaker. He got the speed for it.

I would probably switch one of your team mates for a pokemon with roar/whirlwind, as some of your pokemons are very easy to set up on, like Metagross and Bronzong.

With that moveset you have change bronzong for claydol and then change explosion for rapid spin. Then it can truly support your team. Also claydol is awesome.
