ORAS OU Mega Metagross Team

Metagross-Mega @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Jolly Nature
- Hammer Arm
- Bullet Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt

One of two main sweepers on this team. Clear body is to prevent any stat drop before mega evolving. Bullet Punch for revenge kills and Meteor Mash is for the possible power ups. The only thing I'm unsure about is Hammer Arm. I've heard another option is Grass Knot, but I'm not really sure.

Keldeo-Resolute@ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spd
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Substitute (HP Ghost??)
- Scald
- Secret Sword

The second major sweeper of my team. Keldeo covers a lot of the weaknesses of Mega Metagross. I'm unsure on whether or not I want substitute or HP Ghost let me know what you think. But Keldeo is here to sweep where Mega Metagross can't. Scald over Hydropump is for the chance of burns.

Landorous-Therian@ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP/ 8 SpD / 240 Def / Spe 8
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-Turn
- Knock Off

Landorous is here to counter SmogonBird and to give me Knock Off, Earth Quake and Something that can U-turn out for the start. It also gives me Intimidate to take care of any physical attackers. I like having Knock Off available on a slightly bulky Pokemon.

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 SpD / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Sludge Wave

Second way to deal with pesky fairy types and something to burn any physical attackers. I like Gengar because it helps me deal with any starter Pokemon like ferrothorn and any Stealth Rockers. Hex is nice to have to deal with any Pokemon that are burned and it can also deal with Gliscor.

Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Def / 4 HP/ 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Pursuit

Team Stealth Rocker here and let's me get control over the weather if need be. I know it may be stupid to not include any rock attack, but I wanted Tyranitar to have a lot of coverage. Pursuit is to lock in the Latis and to generally be able to take out anything trying to escape. I like fire blast too because it let's me kill ferrothorn.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Calm Nature
- Moon Blast
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

Clefable is here to run cleric duty for my sweepers. In case of any burns, paralysis, or poisons, Clefable is there to make it go away. Moon blast helps for damage and Wish and Protect can help stall if i have too. Wish is also useful to heal any of my other Pokemon if I have the chance to execute it.

Well there's my first team let me know what you think!!!

Hey TJRJ7, nice attempt at buliding a formidable Mega-Metagross team. I want to suggest a few changes to help optimize your team's effectiveness on the ladder.

Firstly, your Mega-Metagross's current set is too slow-paced for the current OU metagame and makes it susceptible to many threats that can do serious damage to it before MGross can retaliate accordingly. I highly recommend running max speed evs on this mon to help revenge kill many common OU threats such as Keldeo and M-Diancie.

On a similar vein to MGross. SubCM Keldeo should always run max speed evs to be able outspeed common base 100 mons aswell as forcing speed ties with opposing Keldeo. I noticed you put hp ghost inside parentheses after the substitute slot which would be a good option if Jellicent was common but for now it's a wasted moveslot so substitute is far better.

On Lando-T, I recommend using stealth rock over knock off. Lando-T finds so many opportunities to switch in thanks to its great typing and ability which easily make it one of the best Stealh rock setters in the tier (especially on defensive Lando-T). Using Stealth Rock on Lando-T allows you to be more flexible with your Tyranitar set. I am suggesting you run ScarfTar over spDEF Tar to provide you with a fast and reliable revenge killer with the added ability to trap Latias/Latios

HEY TJRJ7 first of all I think you should make your descriptions a little longer.
Onto the rate, first off I would go with a spread of 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 4 Def, Metagross is an extremely offensive mon so your EV spread should be optimized take advantage of it.

Next, instead of a Sub CM Keldeo I would go with a choice specs variant, Sub CM Keldeo is a really subpar set in this meta Keldeo doesn't really even need to setup if you have specs since it hits incredibly hard anyways.

Next change i would go with Stealth Rocks over Knock Off on Landorus-Therian, defensive Lando-T is a great mon bu using an AoA variant doesn't really make sense. This allows you to change Tyranitar's set as well since you are no longer running rocks anymore, lastly I would go with a rocky helmet instead of leftovers, this allows you to weaken any physical attacker which means the rest of your team will have an easier time picking them off.

I would also replace Smooth Rock Tyranitar with Scarf Tyranitar, you honestly have no use at all for the sand since you have no sand abusers, scarf Tyranitar is a great fit for your team because it traps mons, gives you a way to revenge kill and is still able to take hits comfortably.

Last thing I would change is Clefable's EV's and its set, first off I would go with an EV spread of 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD, and a move set of Calm Mind / Thunder Wave / Softboiled / Moonblast, Magic Guard doesn't really need Wish and it can't really fit heal bell on its set. Sorry for such a short rate but your team is really solid, hope my advice helps!
