I like playing doubles so I thought I would make a team for it.

Kanga&Roo (Kangaskhan) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
Level: 50
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Def / 52 SpD / 68 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Low Kick
- Sucker Punch
- Protect
(1)Kangaskhan, Mainly because of its mega ability to always hit twice, (2)besides that I chose it because of its fairly even stats and its ability to be able deal damage as well as soak it up. (3)Plus he makes a good revenge killer for Sylveon, talonflame, thunderous and togekiss. I would more detail to this description but I really just built my team around these guys.

sylveon.gif

Minnie (Sylveon) (F) @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Pixilate
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 188 HP / 68 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Protect
At first I was going to have Gardevior for this slot and then depending on the pokemon that were sent out I could mega evolve the one that could deal the most damage to the pokemon they have out. I eventually decided against that and chose Sylveon instead, the main reason for this is (1) I realized that I should have a special attacker that didn't rely on Mega evolving. (2) I also realized that hyper voice would be able to splash out damage without having to memorize which pokemon were transformed into fairy types emmediatly. (3) I gave it hidden power [Ground] because I wanted special coverage for electric and poison types, and I don't have any other pokemon that are specifically good at that so it seemed like a good choice.

talonflame.gif

Talon (Talonflame) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp
(1) Talonflame because I needed a fire type to combat pokemon such as scizor. (2) I wanted the fire type to know U-turn because I would rather have sylveon or Kangaskhan out. (3) Kangaskhan is going to be my main sweeper so I didn't need a sweeper but I wanted a flying type to get rid of ground and grass types, and Talonflame is a great candidate.

bisharp.gif

Strudel (Bisharp) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Protect
(1)Bisharp is good dark type and steel type and I didn't have either of those and are sub-eccentiall types (in my opinion). (2)since it has alot of the same types of moves as kangaskhan it can substitute in for kangaskhan if he is taken out. (as a pysical sweeper/physical damage support for thunderus or sylveon)
(3)Because I love the trickyness of the pokemon with protect and sucker punch, using them alternativly can sometimes be extremely effective.

thundurus.gif

Zeus (Thundurus) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 36 SpA / 68 SpD / 28 Spe
Calm Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunder Wave
- Taunt
(1)I always want someone with taunt on my team and (2) i needed an electric type so I looked at quite few pokemon such as Jolteon.(3) although I know this isn't best I like to have multiple flying types on my team so i can give them different moves and since he is electric type and ground moves can't hurt him i ran straight up my alley.

togekiss.gif

Grace (Togekiss) (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 4 SpA / 28 SpD / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Follow Me
- Air Slash
- Tailwind
- Protect
I love this team, I think it works well and I enjoy playing it, but there are still a few qwerks I am having troubles working out. The main one is Togekiss i great pokemon but... I literally never use it. It just sits there as a space filler so i thought i would open up this RMT to help me find a replacment. I want a pomeon effective against electric types so i decided to go for ground types. I want to choose between Gliscor and Garchomp, Gliscor because of his effectivness on poison and electric as well as grass, fight and others, garchomp because i could still have this slot a tank.

Solid team you got there. Now I know you had a poll deciding on what ground type to choose but honestly the best choice is probably neither of those two. I'd use Landorus-T over Togekiss because it has better coverage options such as Superpower, Knock Off and U-Turn and a better ability in Intimidate which is great for shutting down physical attackers like Kangaskhan and opposing Landorus. I'd probably go with the Scarf or the AV one as I'm not sure which would be best.

gl with your team

EDIT: Ya Steven Stone is right about your rain matchup. (I like to have Lando on like all my teams so if it were me I'd take out sylveon but you don't need it.)

This team resembles a lot something I used to get top 8 in a regional back in early 2015... Ah, what the days those were...

Anyways let's stop reminiscing about the past and focus on actually important stuff.

The current Kangaskhan EV spread you have was designed to be a bulky sweeper that could demolish teams under Tailwind or once the opposing team was paralysed (I designed it myself, so I know what I'm talking about) after a Power-Up Punch, but given that in this metagame Thundurus doesn't have many opportunities to freely fire off Thunder Waves I'd recommend you to do either one of 2 things:

One of the was that your Kangaskhan ran an alternative bulky EV spread that left enough speed to hit bigger benchmarks (Smeargle, for example) or a 252 / 252 EV spread that also works completely fine with the Kangaskhan, or switch Talonflame's item to Sharp Beak. I personally prefer that one mainly because you have access to other moves, most importantly, Tailwind and Protect, which may prove useful for your team.

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of more optimal EV spreads for Sylveon, just look for one on Nugget Bridge or on the old VGC RMTs there were here, but honestly the one that you have right now won't accomplish more than the others, and those might help you increase your bulk on Sylveon. By the way, have you considered Calm Mind over Psyshock? Calm Mind Sylveon is a great lategame win condition, and your team might appreciate that.

Your team is a bit rain weak, so I wouldn't reccomend using neither Togekiss nor a Ground-type (unless you want to use Gastrodon but that's totally up to you. The thing still loses to Ludicolo anyways). In my opinion, Amoonguss would be a better fit as it serves the purpose Togekiss used to have, provides Spore support and checks rain somewhat decently (because this thing ALSO loses to Ludicolo), while checking Trick Room fairly well and having Spore for more supportive options. I can't recall EV spreads rn, but I remember that an EV spread of 188 HP / 164 Def / 156 SpD with a Sassy Nature was used fairly often. If I recall correctly, the EV spread would let you survive plenty of hits such as Mega Kangaskhan's Double-Edge. The set I'd reccomend would be Spore, Rage Powder, Giga Drain and Protect, however, if you find yourself having too much of an issue with Ludicolo, running Sludge Bomb is a completely viable option.

Well, hope this helps! Good luck with your team!

Thank you for your replies I like both of your ideas, but imm going to wait until the end of the weak to make the end decision :)
