Mega Gardevoir (Pseudo)

[OVERVIEW]

There is absolutely no reason to use Mega Gardevoir in OU. Aside from a stronger Fairy-type STAB move, a slightly better Speed tier, and access to some nifty utility moves like Will-O-Wisp and Healing Wish, Gardevoir is entirely outclassed by Tapu Lele, which can run an item, doesn't take up your Mega slot, and has stronger Psychic-type moves thanks to Psychic Terrain. It is also outclassed by Mega Alakazam, which is much faster and stronger and has access to recovery.

[SET]
name: Offensive
move 1: Will-O-Wisp / Healing Wish
move 2: Psyshock
move 3: Hyper Voice
move 4: Focus Blast
item: Gardevoirite
ability: Trace
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

The set aims to distinguish itself from the other, frankly better Psychic-types in the tier by virtue of some of the cool utility moves Mega Gardevoir has access to; for example, it can cripple some switch-ins like Celesteela and Magearna with Will-O-Wisp or fully heal a useful teammate with Healing Wish and let it switch in freely. However, there is still little to no reason to use it over Tapu Lele and Mega Alakazam.

no need to mention how it's outclassed by zam and lele again since i was said above, just change that to like "However, there is still little to no reason to use it in favor of the aforementioned Psychics"

also remove dbond that move is so bad fuck that, replace it with how healing wish brings some utility

Knitpick:

"There is absolutely no reason to use Mega Gardevoir in OU." *proceeds to list reasons to use Mega Gardevoir over Tapu Lele*

Change this to "almost no reason" and the issue is fixed.

me+mellow discussed in the chat; it’s 100% a paragraph structure thing that leads to contradictory information being presented. Anyway it’s been changed to “practically no reason” now which gets the same point across non-contradictorily + reads better bc of it

remove add / fix (comments); (AC=add comma; RC=remove comma; SC=semicolon)

[OVERVIEW]

There is practically ("absolutely" would've been fine too ftr, stuff it has over Lele != legit reason to use) no reason to use Mega Gardevoir in OU. Aside from a stronger Fairy-type STAB move, a slightly better Speed tier, and access to some nifty utility moves like Will-O-Wisp and Healing Wish, Gardevoir is entirely outclassed by Tapu Lele, who which can run an item, doesn't take up your Mega slot, and has stronger Psychic-type moves thanks to Psychic Terrain. It is also outclassed by Mega Alakazam, who which is much faster (RC) and stronger (RC) and has access to recovery.

The set aims to distinguish itself from the other, frankly better Psychic-types previously mentioned in the tier (don't rly wanna reference a different section) by virtue of some of the cool utility moves Mega Gardevoir has access to; (SC) for example, (AC) it can cripple some switchins switch-ins like Celesteela and Magearna with Will-O-Wisp (RC) or Healing Wish can be useful to fully heal a useful teammate with Healing Wish and provide them a free switchin let it switch in freely. However, there is still little to no reason to use it over the aforementioned Psychics Tapu Lele and Mega Alakazam.
