I built this team a few days ago and I've been seeing pretty good results with it. I wanna know what other people think.

Diancie-Mega @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 28 Atk / 228 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Moonblast
I chose a fairly common set for Diancie. She functions as a wallbreaker and hazards setter, but I barely use her as a lead, since most mons deal 60-70% of her health. Max speed Hasty nature allows her to outspeed most of the tier. 28 Atk is fairly common, and helps with the
matchup. It goes pretty well into
, threatening and outspeed and OKHO with Diamond Storm. Furthermore. Earth Power allows it to deal with
, threatening at least half of its health. It forms a pretty solid core with Kartana by scaring out mons like Moltres. Moonblast also helps
and
by dealing with the opponent's dragon types. Lastly, Magic Bounce bounces back hazards to the opponent, which is crucial since most of team gets crippled by them.

Kartana @ Grassium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 136 HP / 120 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- Defog
- Synthesis
Kartana functions as the team's defogger and "semi-wall". Synthesis and the HP investment allows it to 1v1
and other Ground types that may threaten
. Moreover, Grassium Z catches opponents off guard with a massive nuke to their health. Knock Off helps remove Heavy Duty Boots, which is crucial since the team centers around hazards. I wanted to use Swords Dance in place of synthesis, but that makes it harder to defog and 1v1 other mons.

Garchomp @ Leftovers
Ability: Rough Skin
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 200 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Protect
- Spikes
I chose a bulkier set for Garchomp, as I wanted it to set up spikes and wall Pokemon like
,
, and other fire types. Toxic is an easily spammable move, and works very well with Protect. Since I really hate fighting weather teams, Protect also helps me stall out weather turns and build up chip damage with Toxic. Rough Skin is also a BS ability and lets it chip anyone that hits it

Gholdengo @ Air Balloon
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 84 SpD / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Recover
Gholdengo is the goat of this team. It sets up against some hazard removers and switches in against fairy types that threaten Garchomp. This given EV spread is on the bulkier side, letting it survive an Earthquake from
and (possibly) OKHO it with Shadow Ball at +2 after rocks. Air Balloon helps it fight against
, forcing it to click Ice Spinner. Focus Blast allows Gholdengo to hit normal and steel types, which could possibly scare them from switching in.

Zapdos @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Roost
Zapdos functions as a pivot, helping frail mons like
and
come in without taking direct damage from the opponent. Static is an amazing ability that spreads paralysis, and disables pokemon like
. It also synergizes with Diancie pretty well by switching in against pokemon like Urshifu-Rapid-Strike and threatening paralysis. Heat Wave also hits mons like Gholdengo and Ferrothorn, which can do tons of damage and help Diancie clean up in the endgame.

Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Unseen Fist
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Ice Spinner
Urshifu is the primary speed control and revenge killer of the team. Its stab moves hit steel types and fire types that scare off
and
. Choice Scarf is a required item, since my team lacks speed boosting moves, and can get outsped by literally anything thats +1 speed. Surging Strikes can deal with ground types when
is dead, and hits
at max power. It can also switch in on water moves like once or twice, and U-turn into a different mon for better positioning.
========
This team is pretty solid for where I'm at right now, but I really struggle with the rain matchup. Does anyone have tips on how to make it more bearable with this team?
