Rotom wash is used as important type coverage and can use volt switch to switch into other pokemon when the enemy switches out to cover rotom. I run foul play on him to have a dark type move that is unexpected. It is important since Bisharp dies fairly easily and without him I have no dark type moves. He synergizes well with the rest of the team.

Talonflame is the first sweeper on my team. I run sharp beak to boost his brave bird power, which can be even further boosted with swords dance. I run rapid spin on excadrill to cover his stealth rock weakness, and my Rotom-W and Amoongus both allow for safe ways to switch into him with volt switch and spore.

Excadrill is my usual starter and a key part of my team. I give him air balloon to protect him against the common counter of earthquake against him. Earthquake and Iron Head are great offensive moves and provide important coverage. Rapid spin allows my Talonflame to get in safely against Stealth Rocks, and he has Stealth Rocks of himself.
Amoonguss @ Black Sludge

Amoongus is a very useful member of this team, being very tanky and great at setting up my other pokemon. Spore is a great move, as it makes them either switch or remain with a pokemon useless for several turns. Giga drain and sludge bomb are both solid offensive moves, and clear smog is very useful against teams with Baton pass or lots of skill boosting moves.
Diancie-Mega @ Diancite

Diancie is one of the best mega pokemon and has great use on this team. Though he is weak against several types, when they are covered he can go ham. Moonblast and Diamond storm are strong moves against tons of pokemon, protect allows him to safely evolve, and hidden power fire can cover certain types.

Bisharp is a strong sweeper, and dark and fairy moves are fairy useful in this metagame. Though he suffers from being fairly squishy to moves super effective on him, when given space to swords dance he can be a very powerful sweeper, with moves such as sucker punch and iron head dealing lots of damage to many teams.
